An absolutely necessary stop on your trip to Toronto. We were able to walk here from St Lawrence market which wasn’t a difficult walk at all through some parks. I think we did not realize how big this district was, because we planned on staying probably around an hour, but we were probably there for 3+ hours on a Friday afternoon. Lots of cute stores and art galleries. Great food to check out as well, as well as live music and games in the summer. Definitely check it out!

The Distillery District is a must-see gem in Old Toronto! A unique mix of history and modern life, with its beautifully preserved factory architecture transformed into stylish bars, cozy restaurants, art galleries, and cultural spaces. The urban spirit is alive here, and every corner feels full of old stories and charm. It’s also very convenient to reach by TTC bus or tramway. A perfect spot to stroll, enjoy events, and experience the creative vibe of the city!

A great place for both tourists and local. Beautiful all around, any time of year. There are many cute boutiques as well as restaurants with patios. I like walking there on a sunny weekend morning, when there is not much crowd. It is also magical during Christmas season. Historical architecture along with beautiful decorations make the place feel unique and worth coming back.

Amazing place to hang out with a piece of old and new architecture. Really loved the vibe of the place which is filled with amazing restaurants, pubs, activities and live music. This place has something for everyone. My pub crawl to different restaurants for food and drinks was amazing. Really recommend for tourists to visit this place for its old charm and so many offerings.

Great tourist area to visit during the summer time with lots of eateries, shops, and vendors. It's pedestrian access only, and consists of a few streets that have a historic vibe. Although it's also a popular destination during the winter, it's freezing to walk outside. I recommend visiting during the summer. There's no line ups.

Got off the hop on hop off bus here and did a quick stroll. Beautiful, quaint location with a lot of history, shopping, and eateries. Would be great to spend more time here. Very enjoyable place and well worth a visit. I understand that there are tours, brewery and distillery tastings. Unfortunately we did not have time.

The Distillery District is truly a gem in Toronto! The whole place had such a lively and happy vibe—every corner was buzzing with energy. The charming boutiques and unique stores made it such a joy to walk around, and the live music band filled the air with the perfect soundtrack. Everything felt well-organized and welcoming. One of the highlights was meeting a street artist who took our picture and printed it in a vintage newspaper style—he only asked for a tip, which made it such a thoughtful and memorable keepsake. If you’re in Toronto, this is a spot you absolutely can’t miss. It’s not just a visit, it’s an experience full of charm, culture, and joy.

Best place to visit in Winters. And if you stay in downtown and want peace and less crowd and quality people - this should be your go to place. The place always gives vintage, rustic and 1900’s vibe. And time to time, there’s movie shoot’s lined up so you might get a chance to be a responsible background talent in one of the shots. Parking can be an issue on weekends so preferred walking around.
