Alila Diwa Goa

We had a wonderful stay at Alila Diwa Goa! Everything about the experience was excellent – the spacious and comfortable rooms, the delicious food, the beautiful pool, and above all, the warm hospitality. The staff here truly go the extra mile to make guests feel special. A special mention to Mr. Sourav and the front office team, who were extremely courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. What impressed us most was their thoughtfulness – we casually mentioned an item during lunch which wasn’t on the menu, and to our surprise, the team specially prepared it for us at dinner. This gesture truly reflected their commitment to guest satisfaction. The combination of a relaxing environment, great amenities, and such a caring staff made our holiday memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Goan getaway!

It was a decent experience but overall the trip was underwhelming for us. Food was good, rooms were perfect and housekeeping was impeccable. However staff hospitality was varying in warmth and anticipation. The hotel also needs to up its experience quotient.||The property is beautiful and there is enough potential to increase its staf hospitality warmth and the anmbience and premiumness, where we did feel underwhelmed. We also felt that not being sea resort also perhaps works against it a bit, and although beach is nearby through the shuttle it’s not sea faint experience by any stretch.||That said, it does provide a good experience in food, pool area, in room quality and service, although the rooms can be more informative through brochures and perhaps have some welcome fruits.

PROS||1. Well maintained and modern looking property.||2. Great staff||3. Complimentary shuttle service to the beach all day which is about 500 metres away.||4. Property not as big as some others but has a lot of nooks and corners to explore to make it feel big.||5. Well thought through play areas for kids and toddlers with lots of things to do and staff to help. This really stood out for us vs other resort experiences.||6. Ideal location away from crowded areas yet just 30 mins from the airport. Lot of quality eating options closeby as well.||7. Great spacious rooms, bathrooms and balconies.||||CONS||1. Not much really||2. Room fridge was empty. Should be stocked.||3. Very good breakfast, but some changes could be made day on day

The overall ambience of the place is good. The food is superb and they serve large variety and the staff is very helpful and cordial. The property is about a km away from the beach but they have carts ready to take you to the beach almost instantly. The rooms are spacious and clean and the toilets are top notch. Location is a bit out of the city but you will love it for its quiet environment. The beach is full of stray dogs and you should be aware of them. You can catch the local fishermen go fishing and photograph the whole process while at the beach in the early morning. The property has good number of rooms and can be used for corporate accommodation. I stayed there for three nights last weekend and the experience was soothing and relaxing.

Soumen, Saurabh, Mohit, Payal, and Meenakshi from F&B, Christopher from the Front Office, and Veronica from the Kitchen went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. They truly deserve a big pat on the back 😊. Beautiful boutique holiday spot, we stayed in the small private resort part of the Alila which was perfect and exactly the p&q we wanted. The rooms were lovely but some of the finishing touches left a lot to be desired, could use a refresh. Our balcony was lovely to sit on but sadly there was maintenance work going on directly outside making it less private and serene. The food options between 4-5 and canapés between 6-7 were beautiful bites to try, nothing was too much trouble. Also got to try some lovely Indian wine and local Feni alcohol. Breakfast had multiple a la carte choices from local to international. As we were only there 1 night I was able to choose multiple and thankfully that wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend trying one of the lassi drinks. We chose this hotel as Uber doesn’t work in Goa making it harder/more expensive to get around by traditional taxi and the Alila offered free round trip airport shuttle from GOI. There was also no trouble rearranging our transfer last minute due to us missing our flight because of delays and we communicated via WhatsApp. Overall a lovely stay, ideally would have liked some day tour options provided to us but these weren’t discussed or offered.

I had a lovely stay at Alila Diwa Club with family. Had taken a half board package, which was very convenient as have 3 little kids. The room at Alila Diwa Club was spacious, pools were great. Liked the all day breakfast option, did have to use it a few times. The breakfast is excellent, a la carte at dinner was varied and nice. Enjoyed the snacks in between. The property is excellent, service is very warm. My kids loved the play area and mini theatre, and I liked it too as I could catch up on work while they were engaged. The property has a lot of greenery, while it's secluded it's not too far from amenities such as a pharmacy. Also some shacks nearby if you'd like to try them. Their indian restaurant is also very nice, so are Bistro and Vivo. Would like to esp thank Daniel, Aradhana, Saurav, Jagannath, Siddharth, Amit, Mrunal, Sherwin, Aditi, Anjum, Rohit, Preston, Annu & Asma and there was a very sweet girl who served us at Vivo whose name I forget, and who I would love to thank again personally when I go next time !|And looking forward to the next time !

A beautiful resort with very polite and humble staff. 🌸 They made our stay truly special by celebrating my daughter’s birthday in such a thoughtful way. Grateful for their warm hospitality and unforgettable experience!
