The Dolli at Acropolis, A Hotel to Live

We had an amazing stay at The Dolli. The entrance and lobby are absolutely breathtaking, one of the most stunning we've ever seen. Every detail throughout the hotel is beautifully designed, with complimentary treats available to enjoy during the stay. The staff were wonderful, always friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. Everything was simply impeccable. And the view from the rooftop bar overlooking the Acropolis is just wonderful, a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of Athens.

A beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of Athens with stunning views of the Acropolis from the roof terrace. Superb service from the staff. Very friendly and professional. Lovely comfortable room. Very good food both at breakfast and dinner. Lively atmosphere in the roof top restaurant at night with the most amazing views. Pastries and champagne in the lobby in the afternoon which was a nice touch. Lots of design ideas to take home.

The Dolli is a very nice luxury hotel. As you check in you are fed tasty treats from the display in the lobby and the staff go out of their way to solve every issue you may have. Breakfast and dinner can be taken on the rooftop restaurant with fantastic views of the Acropolis. There is also a rooftop swimming pool. Our room was delightful with one of the best ever shower setups although being on the first floor it only had an internal air shaft view which was a bit disappointing so check when you book. The hotel is centrally located and everything you want to see is easy walking distance. It’s surrounded by dining options for the evening.

Truly exceptional hotel. Perfect convenient location, incredible views of the Acropolis from the rooftop pool and restaurant. More importantly the service was amazing - they remembered the food preferences of every family member and brought out special foods for them each morning.

This is a fantastic hotel that deserves its 5-star status. It is decorated in a gracious, elegantly modern style. There is an excellent, unobstructed view of the Acropolis from the Breakfast Room and Rooftop Bar. The staff radiates an air of competence, and is professional, polite and deferential, and took care to help me order gluten-free food at each Breakfast. Most importantly, the location of the Dolli is perfect – it is within easy walking distance of the Acropolis (if you consider UPHILL easy), the Museum of the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and Roman Agora, Syntagma Square and all the attractions of the Plaka. The only time we needed a cab was to see the National Museum of Archeology. I would not hesitate to recommend the Dolli to even the pickiest traveler.

After 6 weeks in Europe and staying in some amazing boutique hotels I can honestly say that the Dolli stands out as being the best I experienced . The position and the interiors are out of this world !! From the moment you see the view of the Acropolis from the infinity pool and then have the excitement of dinner on the rooftop restaurant, you are in heaven . Having been let down by a (not to be mentioned and totally now forgotten) hotel, the Dolli furnished a room(a gem) at short notice the upgraded us to a balcony room after 2 nights . From the morning greeting and smile at breakfast , the chaps on the door suggesting a bottle of water for your day of sight seeing down the cheery welcome on your return , only to be topped by the incredible food and service at dinner while watching the sunset over the Parthenon…. Magic The only sad moment is the checking out Do you self a favour …… get there We’ll done to all the staff

THE DOLLI, what to say except it’s one of the nicest, if not the nicest places to stay. The staff are ever present, understated and always present. The design is warm, and super chic, without being stuffy. A lot of thought has gone into placing various original works of art and objects in the right places to create what is an uplifting atmosphere that resonates throughout the hotel. The rooms are superb, the bed is as fluffy as you can imagine and the shower pressure is undeniable. The food & quality, from breakfast to dinner, is without fault. The service, always restrained and with a smile, is an example of old school elegance that eludes most hotels. The hotel’s tag line, “A hotel to live” lives up in every way. Everything from the beginning to the end was simply perfect. The entrance with lovely Reception, welcome Drink with sweets, decorations, very friendly service and location of the hotel with a fantastic view of Acropolis. Our room was small but cozy, the windows could be better, Athena is very loud city! Definitely, my number one in Athena !
