Pleasant, but lots and lots of doors slamming l I had a standard room. It was clean and pleasant. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed meeting the two resident cats. There is a pleasant donut café downstairs. The laundry area is useful, and location is decent. The main negative – some of the residents, those who insist on slamming doors at any hour of the day or night. When I asked reception whether anything could be done to remind people of the need to close doors quietly, I was directed to the small notice in the lifts/elevators. Two lines in size 10 font urge people to close doors quietly. This appears in Thai and English. I’m not sure whether guests of every nationality will see these two lines, translate them and take careful note of the contents. My upstairs neighbour would slam her bathroom door with the utmost force 10 to 12 times while performing her evening rituals. She dragged her chair, and sometimes rode her chair across the floor making a horrible noise. The slamming of front doors was still the most annoying. That could really happen at any time. On and on. I saw other rules on that list disobeyed every single day. People hung washing where they were not supposed to. Shoes and umbrellas lay in the corridors. Initially my plan was to stay long-term, but three months proved to be the limit. The place I moved to has been much quieter, thank goodness.

I have been a customer for this hotel for over 10 yrs. It is a well managed hotel and its location is the best. air you stay long term you have a secured wifi for each room. The only issue I have is it is not a sound proof building. There is a coffee shop on the first floor.  Donut  and all kinds of sandwich. Coffee is good.

We stay here when in Chiang Mai for shorter periods of time. It is located in Chang Phueak, across the street from Nimman, and is near the bustling Thai area of Santitham . Close to walk to Maya, Nimman and Old Town. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the area. They also have an all day breakfast cafe and place to work downstairs. Downside, the WiFi is not the best.

Perfect for a 90 day stay. I stay here every time I visit Chiang Mai. It is clean, quiet and close to Maya Mall. Also there are nice restaurants within walking distance along with a few gyms and co-working spaces.

We stayed in Room 616 for a month, it was 14,000 Baht with a 5000 baht deposit, and 200 Baht key deposit. Generally we liked the place, it was extremely clean, the staff were mostly friendly, and it has a nice Cafe serving Western style breakfasts for a reasonable cost. There is a nice lobby area, although you will need mosquito repellent at night time.||||The bad points, you will be staying next to an extremely busy road, at nighttime the local youths race up and down on motorbikes that are fit only for the scrapyard - it's very noisy and you will need earplugs. I didn't get a good night's sleep in on whole month that I was there. Also the internet is terrible, they have very cheap Chinese networking equipment that is not fit for purpose. Your best bet is to go to the reception area and use the Wifi, it's better there of course ;)||||Another thing that contributed to my Insomnia was the bed, it was very big but very hard, unfortunately this is normal by Asian standards.||||The room also had a wardrobe, a small flatscreen TV, a workdesk and a refrigerator. You can have a kettle if you leave a 500 Baht deposit. There are two armchairs in the room but they are impossible to sit on as they are as hard as a rock.||||Another minus is the lighting, there is a round main ceiling light but it gives out a horrible glow, we had to keep it off as much as possible. In addition, there was no bedside lights at all, so reading was impossible unless you wanted the main light on making you feel like you were in a morgue.||||In room 616 there was also a balcony which was useful for drying laundry(although there was no laundry dryer), nevertheless there is a tumble dryer downstairs. During the late afternoon you can lie down on the balcony and sunbathe which was good.||||The shower in the bathroom was good, we always had hot water.||||There is also nice small gym with dumbells up to 25KG, a bench, a situp bench, running machine, and cross skiing machine. If you need a proper gym, then about 200 metres away is "Gold Hillside Plaza Gym" It costs 1000 Baht per month, big place, with old equipment, but does the job.||||The clientele of the place was mostly golfers and elderly American retirees who live there, they could be a bit noisy sometimes at breakfast.||||The location is good, close to two shopping malls and Nimman Area.||||Nevertheless it's unlikely we would stay there again because of the bed, the pollution and noise and the internet. In addition, it was expensive for what you get, and you also have to pay electricity charges on top(500 Baht for a month, we didn't use aircon though)

Well situated halfway between the north west corner of the old town and Maya mall in Nimman.

The Dome is a consistent 4*…staff are dependable and hotel is always clean! I’ve stayed there many times and can’t say I really had any issues or problems! One of the best of the 3-4* hotels around and close walk to good food, shopping, 3 large gymnasiums. a world class Olympic size swimming pool and also the Neiman area! Well priced!

Okay, my first week in Chiang Mai and I was looking for a good rate more then a fancy place. I travel all over Thailand (I'm Thailand Rob) and have seen it all when it comes to rooms.||The place can do long term as well and nightly but I don't know the rates for the month.||My overall rating is a 4 because the rate of the room at the location was great for me.||I had the cheapest room but it was clean, bed was great, sheets where wonderful. I had a fridge and kettle.||The place is quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep but only steps from the busy road to get a ride to anywhere.||Like most all hotels in Thailand the room has it's dings and ware but not to the point I was thinking about it.||Overall worth a try in my opinion.
