My partner, our friends, and I had an absolutely amazing time. The housing was gorgeous, beautifully maintained, comfortable, and even better than we expected. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. They offered thoughtful tips and local recommendations that really enhanced our trip and helped us experience the area like insiders. Overall, it was a wonderful stay from start to finish.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Dongola Guesthouse — truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We stayed in rooms 6, 7, and 8, and each one was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The entire place is calm, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It felt like a little piece of paradise — the perfect escape from the busy world. Every detail was thoughtful — from the cozy atmosphere to the fresh, delicious breakfast every morning. The garden views, the cleanliness, the quality of everything — it was all beyond expectations. And most of all, we want to send our deepest thanks to Natalie. You are truly a gem. Your kindness, care, and warmth made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. You went above and beyond in every way — and we will never forget it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories, and we cannot wait to return. 💛

The Dongola is a beautiful, stylish guesthouse. The rooms are exquisite and the bathrooms are stunning! Natalie is absolutely amazing, what a gem of a person. We received the most amazing service from her, she really went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you Natalie, we are forever grateful for your courteousness towards us.

Really cozy guest house with extremely friendly personnel! We got a two-bedroom apartment which was spacious and decorated with a good taste. Everything was clean and stylish. Location in a peaceful suburb area a bit far from the city but easily accessible by Uber. Parking also available. Almost like living in a private home with good service and delicious breakfast!

We enjoyed 4 nights at The Dongola at the beginning of March. We loved the peace and quiet, the large spotlessly clean pool and views of the mountains. Breakfasts were fresh and very good. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, we had to move room during our stay and our new room was ready for us to move into straight after breakfast. If you enjoy bird spotting, this is a great place to go - there is a stream beyond the garden and birdlife is prolific. Claudio was happy to share his binoculars with me and I saw sunbirds feeding on the proteas which was magical. We will revisit.

Beautiful Guesthouse in quiet road. Very friendly staff. Room was excellent. Breakfast was nice. We go back there again.
