The Donovan

I’ve lived at the Donovan for almost five years and can’t say enough great things about it. The staff is so helpful in making sure we are living at the safest place possible. The property is well maintained and the maintenance staff is very reliable and do a great job. There are a lot of wonderful residents I’ve met who live here as well!

Deducting two stars. One star is deducted for inadequate cleaning and repairs of the public areas. Spills and stains in hallways do not get cleaned up. I am looking at the same walls dings and dirt marks I saw when we moved in two years ago. Entry rugs have road salt caked in them from last winter. Litter in the hallways. Infrequent vacuuming and mopping. Repairs are just stop gap fixes. If you are going to lease to sloppy people you had better be prepared to cleanup after them. Deducted a second star because they have not figured out how to deal with disrespectful tenants. I have been living below what sounds like a bowling alley. Three dogs, constant stomping, dropping heavy objects on the floor, etc. I am paying $2500 a month to live here. If they expect anything more than an average three stars from me, they need to correct these issues.

I love the Donovan! They were really great to work with when I was looking for apartments and took care of me during a very hard time in my life, helping me find a perfect place to live just for me. They are always professional, kind and welcoming. The facility is really great. I’m very happy to live here.

If you want an amazing community with great staff and neighbors that feel like family, then the Donovan is the place for you. We absolutely love living here. Gabby has been an absolute LEGEND for the Donovan and took amazing care of us on our move-in. Sherman and the Donovan team are lucky to have an amazing asset like her.

Chris made my move-in a breeze! She was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. Her positive attitude and clear communication made this the best move-in experience I’ve ever had. I hope management realizes the special person they have.

Toni is by far the BEST leasing agent I’ve EVER experienced. She went above and beyond finding me my perfect home. This community is like no other place. Perfection and stunning are the two words to describe The Donovan! You‘ll fall in love with everything it has to offer.

Good morning. I didn’t secure the apartment. Bc my wife and I made other plans for our living situation. Although, there is an employee named Chris. We had seen several places in the area but just couldn’t get over the absolute great service we received from her. I just wanna rate my review based on that experience. Thank you

Although this is a beautiful complex with excellent amenities and a great location, the new management team is clearly dropping the ball. We often visit friends who have lived there for 3 years or so now, and the down-turn in overall appearance/appeal, cleanliness, and general upkeep is obvious. The elevators, for one, get little to no attention, and the entry floors are also not getting cleaned. These areas are vital for a complex's first impression, and it makes one wonder: if these simple tasks are not carefully regulated by management, what else are they neglecting? Importantly, these observations mark a noticeable difference between management companies in charge.

Wow! We pulled up after dark and witnessed the impressive lights of the Donovan's signs guiding us home. We had a reservation in the guest suite, arranged by friends who live here. What an amazing community! Gabby greeted us with a bright smile, and showed us the amenities and personality escorted us in (after hours). She said how much she loved working at the community. It's so refreshing to meet people who love their work. The quality of every detail is FIVE star! too many things to list! Thanks Pam, and everyone who has created this beautiful sanctuary we got to call home. As a Yelper, there are times when it's an obligation to the Yelp community to give fives Stars to a business, this is one of those posts! I highly recommend the Donovan Apartments

I am new to The Donovan so still exploring and experiencing all it has to offer but at first pass I am truly pleased. Moving across country is stressful and Sabrina from the Staff has made my leasing and newcomer experience very easy, pleasant and welcoming. She has been essential to me having a great experience here. She is a gem! I also want to shout out to Alex who has handled some of the apartment hiccups - he is terrific!

I've now lived here for a little under a year- when we started living here it was under a previous manager who was AWESOME. That manager has since left and everything went downhill for me and my family exponentially. Everytime I call they act as though I am a burden to speak to and get information for- they consistently have issues with keeping strangers out of the pool and the number of guests to a minimum and make it everyone's burden and punishment with nasty emails. We pay for valet trash service here and they repeatedly have left rude messages on our door saying the trash is too heavy so they can't roll it out on their cart. We paid a premium price to be at this apartment complex and are consistently treated like absolute trash, not only by the staff but they have allowed what I would think to be nothing short of kids living in trap houses to move in. Our neighbors brand new corvette was stolen the first night he moved in here. At the end of the day this place has turned into such a horrible place to be we felt forced out of our home and bought a place that would be safer for our family. 0/10 would never pay a dime to stay here another moment it is absolutely not worth the trouble they put on you. edit: after posting this very honest review I was promptly called by the property manager who took my review extremely personally- to her credit she's right to criticize me in saying that crime is not her fault, or the lack of 3rd party performance for services that go through them and I have to pay for on my utilities statement through their rental portal. It felt more to me like a deflection of responsibility as after the conversation was over none of what made me upset or to feel unsafe was addressed more of "it's not my fault why did you blame it on me?" It was also followed by calling my co workers mom to let them know that my behavior and presence and this review was bad behavior in their eyes, the days that followed I had negative comments and hostile behaviorat my place of work from two employees because of me sharing my experience. I wished it was more of a productive conversation so others don't feel the same way I do about this place and I wish I did not feel harassed at my place or employment because of my experience here- because I used to be so proud to live here and bring my son everywhere with me and use the amenities here. Now I don't, I feel scared to speak out now about the things that have made me feel forced to move me and my family out of my home and it makes me so sad that it is this way. When I signed my lease I was more than happy to stay for the whole period of time now I've had to pay 4500 to break my lease and feel my family is safe and more importantly welcome in my own home elsewhere.

The Donovan is amazing! We just moved in & we love it. The staff is so kind and made our move in process a breeze. The amenities are amazing, everything is clean, and our apartment alone is just perfect.
