My kiddos absolutely love it here, there's so much to do! There's H-E-B shopping, a vet clinic, there's an excavating area with lots of trucks, there's an airplane that most kids seem to really enjoy, there's even a cute little trolley for kids to pretend drive as well and then some. That's just one area on the downstairs floor! Upstairs there's a force coarse where the kiddos can shoot (soft) balls through chutes and get to understand gravity a bit more. There are plastic and wooden building blocks in a different area upstairs as well. Across the force coarse, there's a room where they get to learn about the workings of a city and space too! There's so much more, when we take the kids here they just have so much fun! 🤗

The DoSeum offers a vibrant, hands-on experience that engages visitors of all ages. With friendly staff and a clean, well-organized environment, the museum provides a welcoming and enjoyable space for families to explore and learn together. Though admission may seem a bit high, the variety and quality of exhibits make it worthwhile. From sensory play, music, and bubbles to construction zones and STEM activities, there's something for everyone. A standout is the Disney-inspired “Inside Out” exhibit, which captivates both children and adults. While the water area has low pressure and the air vacuum play lacks strong suction, they remain fun and engaging. These minor issues don’t take away from the overall value. The DoSeum is a place where learning comes alive through play—an enriching destination for anyone visiting San Antonio with family or friends.

Google
Best kids museum ever!!! I can’t speak highly enough of this amazing, interactive, well-structured, and super fun place! I’ve been taking my daughter and her cousins here for 3 years and love being a member. There are endless activities for toddlers to pre-teens to enjoy all day long. We always arrive when they first open and stay for several hours. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and so immersive, from a creek to splash in to bubbles to a massive slide and musical tree fort. The kids love the water features. The ball room upstairs and Little Town downstairs are two top favorites. The staff are wonderful and friendly. You’re allowed to bring your own food and drink inside. I love spending a full day there once a month and watching the kids light up as they have the best time playing!

We are a very spoiled family when it comes to children's museums since our original home base one is The Indianapolis Children's Museum that is regularly rated the best in the US. I think that is vital to understand just how great the Doseum is! We had an amazing time and all 3 of my children from 18 months to 12 had a great time! The outdoor play areas truly blew my outdoorsy child away and my more musical child was so engaged with multiple musical experiences. My third child loved the tech experiences particularly with the robots. Even though it is stroller friendly, I probably wont take one in next time we go when Im in town for my specialist appointment. It stayed parked a majority of the time by choice.

Google
We lived in San Antonio and were members here from 2016-2018, my son had so much fun. We brought our 5 year old daughter back today to try and recreate that fun, but we were sorely disappointed. The ball room air didn’t have enough pressure/suction/vacuum to actually work, the outdoor water play also had not nearly enough water pressure for it to work as intended. It’s like nothing has gotten better in the years, they’ve just let everything just slip into disrepair. It’s sad. I wouldn’t come back, go visit a nice park or the Pearl instead.

Google
The doseum is fantastic for toddlers 2 and up. Our membership is well worth the cost-especially during hot summers. It can get packed, but there are so many different areas to choose from—indoor and outdoor. It’s educational and a great way to entertain high energy children without screens.

Miguel Castro

Google
Great option for kids and toddlers. Very informative and super nice staff. Went for the very first time but will certainly come back.

Google
Good experience for kids all ages. My 2yo and 6yo had fun. We could easily spend whole day in here. There are a lot of things to do. A lot more than thinkery in Austin. Giving 4* because adults are also charged same amount when there is nothing for adults to do here.
google avatar

Nori F.

Yelp
So cute and fun for small kids! $18 admission for adults and kids. They have several galleries and play areas, indoor and outdoor. Especially with the hot summers, this is a fantastic place to take kids to play and learn about physics and science. Free parking in their lot. They host different events; would love to go! Annual membership for 2 people is $120, and add $30 per person added, but the membership comes with a lot of benefits, including a discount to their Cafe Lorraine and gift shop. Will be back!

Yelp
We took our grandkids, ages 11 and 7, to the Doseum during a family trip to San Antonio. It was a nice experience, but activities are definitely tailored for younger kids, maybe 2-8. The older one was bored, the younger one had more fun but was still too old for some of the activities. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a small waterpark and large wooden climbing tower, which both kids enjoyed. Overall it was nice, but we expected a lot more for 18.00/person. We went to every exhibit and the kids were done within 2 hours. I should note we are from Indiana, which has the largest children's museum in the country so we are a bit spoiled.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
BEWARE: DON'T COME ON A SUNDAY AROUND 1:00 IN THE SUMMER. We were excited to come to this children's museum but once we tried to find a parking spot and literally were TRAPPED in the stupidly designed parking lot for 30 minutes trying to get back OUT... we had enough. This place was SLAMMED. There was only one entrance in and out of the parking lot. So many dead ends. People were stopped waiting for a spot blocking everyone else. It was a sh*t show. There was no way we were going to venture inside if it was that packed outside. Saved us $90, $180 if you count my sister's family too.

Yelp
My friend was in town visiting with her 2 littles and I had heard of this museum since moving here. I have a little bebe now so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately we arrived late and didn't have much time to explore everything but what we did see & do was so much fun. I think i enjoyed it more than the kids lol. They have things for all kids ages. Really excited to return when my baby is older. My friend's kids really enjoyed it. Service is great here! The staff is kind and so helpful/attentive. They have food options, an outdoor area, and I believe they have temporary exhibits and events. Very vibrant/colorful and so aesthetically pleasing, museum. Overall great experience!

Yelp
Another great experience at the DoSeum! Staff was friendly and consistently monitoring that everyone was following the rules in the Tiny Town, imagine it area and everywhere else! We greatly appreciate how clean the restrooms are and overall have well kept everything is. Can't wait to go again!

Yelp
My son is 2 and a non verbal lvl 3 autistic. He absolutely loves this place. His favorite part is not the sensory/calming room. Oooh no no no he loves the baby room. I only let him in there when their r no other kids since he is a pretty big boy. But his favorite toys are baby toys. There r tons of safe inclosed places.for him to run free and wonder with the fear of him eloping. But he loves the wall in babies the most.

Yelp
Kids had a wonderful time at the DoSeum. It was on my daughter's to-do list but both kids really enjoyed it. What I like about it is that it's got indoor and outdoor fun. This place balances between the tech and the touch...leaning heavily on the touch. It has indoor and outdoor. Also, you can't count the number of times that I ran into various parents and friends here. It's a great place to get the kids together. They have fun and it's a nice place to break away from the sun.
google avatar

Iliana E.

Yelp
Husband and I wanted to take our two year old to a fun place and this was the perfect spot! They have so many things for kids to explore and enjoy while visiting. We loved the bubbles area and the little town area was super fun for my little guy. We enjoyed our time here and definitely had some great memories there! We will definitely come back with family and friends!
google avatar

Yelp
We used to have a membership at the doseum in Canada and decided to give it a shot here in San Antonio. So happy we did! This place is amazing for children's imagination, creatively, and free play. We haven't made it upstairs yet but the first floor offers so many exploration rooms. They have little town, which allows the kids to shop at heb, whataburger, fly a plane, ride mini cars, go through a car wash, ride a trolley, and more all at their level and height. There is a "calm room" with sensory items and a quiet dark space to read books to simply take a breath. Tons of outdoor play areas, playgrounds, bubble fun, climbing apparatus, tree houses, the fun is endless!!! Check out some of our images. Pricing: Adults and children's day pass $18 Memberships: Start at $120 for an adult and child Each additional child is $30 You can bring your own snacks and sit at the indoor tables or various outdoor seating spots. They also have a little bakery Lorraine to purchase items from. Clean and well worth it!

Yelp
Great for the whole family. I brought my 10 month and she was able to play in little town. She knocked out for almost two hours after we left. There's lots to see---didn't go outside as it was sprinkling. Coffee was bad. Parking was horrible so parked on the street.
google avatar

Jo Ellen V.

Yelp
I was a little iffy on going here with somewhat mixed reviews but the grandkids loved their time there today. It was clean and all of the many activities were functional. We spent about 2.5 hours there. My grand kids are 4 and 7 and seemed a good age for most of the things there. I especially liked the Inside Out area.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
I went to the Valentine's Day event offered. It was lots of fun! They had couplers photos, caricature pictures, put together a flower bouquet. The food & music was good & alcohol plentiful! It was fun to be able to do the exhibits without feeling rushed because there's kids waiting. staff was courteous, building was clean! I would definitely go to more events here!
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
My review is for the adult events they host here. Great job! We went to Dulce tonight and it was so fun. Thank you Doseum staff for cleaning up after us messy tipsy adults. The exhibits are fun as well. We enjoyed the bubble, ball shoot and Lego exhibits the best. It seems like a great place for kids to learn as well but also great for us adults.

Yelp
Where to begin?? We LOVE The DoSeum!! We spent 5 hours here and our 5 year old was so upset when we had to leave. There is tons for kids to do from permanent exhibits to seasonal fun like "ice skating" during our December visit. I would say ages 4-10 will love this the most, although there are a few things for tiny tots to do and 10-12 year olds might find it enjoyable, as well. The parking is free and there is lots of it. We also really enjoyed the gift shop. There were so many science books and activities to choose from, we ended up buying a couple of books and one game, even though we don't usually buy souveniers. The admission price is so affordable and coming from California, we are used to paying much more for far inferior experiences. The staff are constantly walking the floor, answering questions, keeping exhibits in order/stocked, and generally maintaining the museum. We loved the museum so much, 3 days later we followed up our initial visit by attending their "Noon" Year Countdown and THAT was amazing, as well. There was face painting, crafts, a huge snack spread (including local gelato) and each child was given a conductor hat, bandana, and train whistle to take part in the theme. There was a DJ blasting celebratory music and a "noon" year countdown complete with balloon and confetti drop. This museum goes all out, thinks of every detail, and really shows a love and enjoyment of childlike wonder and learning! We are their biggest fans! If you're in the San Antonio area, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to The DoSeum. Plan to be here 5+ hours.

Yelp
We decided to have some Christmas Eve fun at The DoSeum with our kids and it was a great choice! There's so much to do from becoming a detective and solving mysteries to drawing creative ideas, exploring the open play area, cutting wood with a saw, using an excavator, and even interacting with a robot that mimics your movements. My kids' favorite was the section where pipes pumped balls around. It was so engaging to watch! I'd say it's ideal for kids between 5 and 10 years old, as some activities might be a bit tricky for younger ones to figure out. Overall, it's a fantastic hands-on museum with fun activities for everyone. If you're planning a birthday party, they also have private rooms which is a nice option.
google avatar

Briana E.

Yelp
Time flies when you are in there! We were in there for 5 hours not even realizing it! My kids loved it so much and I'm going to lie I think I enjoyed it just as much as them!!! A great place for a family day!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent place for the kiddos to play at and use their imagination. Little Town is the popular spot here and I appreciate that they limit the amount of people who can go inside. Even with them limiting the kiddos it can get crazy in the HEB store section. My little one always talks about this place since she had so much fun. This year she spent more time in the different exhibits and exploring the different things they offer. They have an awesome outdoor area that has bamboo and a treehouse. There is a section for water play and playing with bubbles. Appreciate that they offer a nursing mother's room. I was totally going to fall asleep in there. The walls are painted green inside and there is relaxing music playing. You can find the mother's room inside the Little Doers Den. Awesome that they include this for the moms.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and needed to entertain my kids (5&3) for a few hours. We came here during a holiday week so it was surprisingly busy for a Friday morning. We arrived around 10 am but didn't have trouble finding parking (which was FREE btw). The museum itself was very fun. We started with the little town area which had a grocery store, a plane, a mini trolley, a car, a bank, a food truck and much more. This part of the museum seems to have an occupancy limit so watch the line as we did have to wait a bit to get in. The other exhibits we enjoyed were imagine it and sensation studios. There was a sock rink that was very fun for the kids to slide around in front of imagine it. I'm not sure if this is available year round but I would recommend having a pair of socks for your little one in case it is. Overall this was a fun place to visit and you can easily spend 2-3 hours here.
google avatar

Kimmy S.

Yelp
Great children's museum! There are plenty of activities here for kids to enjoy. There were some non working activities but a ton of other things to do. My son loved the outdoor activities the most but he loves anything with water. I was a little disappointed with the water bubble section as there was not enough soap to create the bubbles. He also enjoyed little town which had a grocery store, cars, airplane, excavator and much more. He also enjoyed the spy kids area. It would be nice if they had some sort of indoor playground especially for the super hot days. Overall, it's a great museum, some of the better children's museum that I've been to. They have FREE parking and offer military and teachers discount which is $4 off. It's totally worth it with the discount!

Yelp
My husband and I were looking for something fun to do with our daughter while in San Antonio. Our daughter is 2 years old. The Doseum was a huge hit. They have tons of stuff to do for kids of all ages and even has a special exhibit for kids under 5 with their own little town. There was water play, bubbles, engineering, and weather activities just to name a few. The museum is pretty big, so you can spend a good chunk of time there especially with older kids who may have more of an attention span (although great for toddlers too). Also, the amount of exhibits make you get a good bang for your buck. $18 seemed worth it. Teachers received a discount as well. The staff was all really nice and interacted well with the kids when appropriate. The place seemed as clean as can be expected for a place children play and honestly get a little messy. Some things were broken, but only a couple. I have seen way more destruction at other children's museums. The Doseum is a great place to explore and get some hands-on learning that is really fun. I highly recommend it for kids of any age.

Yelp
In SA for the weekend, the DoSeum was recommended by a friend as a fun day to spend with the little one. What a great children's museum! This place is packed with different rooms and spaces that keep the little ones busy and excited, all day (thank god). Whatever activity your kid gravitates to - be it dressing up in different scenarios at Little Town (shopping, construction, airplane crew, etc), role playing at the Spy Academy, shooting balls at the Force Course, or just playing outside on with the water works and the big climb in the Great Outdoors - there's plenty to keep them busy and its fun for the adults too. We had an awesome time as a family and the DoSeum is a great way to spend a day - especially when the weather isn't cooperating. The DoSeum will be on our list again for the next SA trip.

Yelp
It was time again for the Dulce fundraiser, so much fun! Cocktails, wine, and treats with a holiday theme. Again, great for people watching, different people of size, shape, with wonderful costumes. As the saying goes "Too much of a good thing is wonderful!!"
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
Ridiculous. I'm not paying $18 bucks for myself to watch the kids play! Heck no! So stupid I hate when places do that!

Bev M.

Yelp
We drove down from Austin specifically for the Gabby's Dollhouse event. When we purchased museum tickets over a week in advance, there was no mention of needing to reserve anything for the event. Just to check with staff about waitlists the day of. We did not receive notice of the change/ need for reservations and did not learn there was a requirement (and that all the available times were at capacity) until we drove 1.5 hours to attend. Thank goodness another patron overhead our confusion and told us about the new requirements before we stood in the meet and greet line for 20+ minutes. We do not live in San Antonio and are not following Doseum social media or San Antonio event pages, so there was no way for us to know of the change unless we stalked their website. We saw the Gabby character in passing, but my toddler didn't seem to understand why she couldn't meet her like I had stupidly mentioned in the days leading up to the visit. We put our tickets to use and spent around 2 hours in the museum. Toddler really enjoyed the various activities, but we have similar hands-on children-centered stuff closer to home. Some don't require parents/adults to pay full price to watch their children play. I was also under the impression there would be Gabby-specific activities, but there weren't any that I could find. I don't think I'd make the trip again.

Kayla P.

Yelp
Great place! My kids had a blast--there's so much to see and do. I'd recommend packing a snack and planning for a break. We went after lunch and it was pretty crowded, so try to get there right when it opens. Also, bring a change of clothes for the kids--they'll probably get wet!
google avatar

Carolina E.

Yelp
Great place for kids to explore and imagine to their little brains content. Interactive displays and exploration encouraged. There's something for everyone here. Great location and plenty of parking. Snack bar inside building. Bring the kids out for a day of fun and learning through play.
google avatar

Sabine F.

Yelp
What an awesome place for children of all ages. We went here with our niece and her two boys ages 2 and 4. They had so much fun. The DoSeum has activities that include pretending to shop at H‑E‑B digging with a Caterpillar Skid Steer Loader and exploring space and much more. I loved that we used local companies to provide the experience. The boys had so much fun.
google avatar

Anum W.

Yelp
FRIENDS, I can NOT believe it took us 6 months to visit this place. The hesitation came from thinking "ew, downtown, that sounds like a messy situation w/ a toddler. Who has time to find parking and walk longer distances than necessary?!" WRONG, DoSeum has its own private lot, and it's not some small shack where you take your little ones to burn off all their energy either. This place had me wishing I was young enough to do these activities again! This place was Disneyland in the eyes of my 2 year old. With many different sections, it was a bit difficult to steer her into where we wanted to go. I found it best to just let her wander to whichever activity caught her eye. I'm not too sure how well this place would take to someone in their pre-teen years, but for children 9 and below, this is as close to heaven on earth as you can get. Outside of the activities, the service up front was incredible. The girls were ever so helpful in answering ALLLLLL my questions (and this mama had quite a few). We can't wait to be back again!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
A nice children museum. There is plenty of different activities to play here. I'd say a majority is for older kids. Around kindergarten and up though. There is a small town for toddlers but there is a separate line to get in there. Unfortunately it wasn't moving quick and we were on toddler time so we couldn't experience it. It looks amazing though. Has a small grocery and airport, I bet our daughter would love it but she was not going to wait in the line. She really enjoyed the bubbles exhibit outside but it was Texas heat so it was a little too hot for summer time out there. Overall the museum was quite warm inside especially if you add chasing a toddler around. A few of the exhibits were closed during our visit which was a bummer. The parking is a bit tight and not that many places. When we first arrived there was a line out the door to get in and no parking. We went to have lunch down the road and returned back. The parking was scarce still but there wasn't a line out the door. I'd give it another try perhaps in the winter time or when my daughter is a bit older.
google avatar

Leia Q.

Yelp
The DoSeum is one of our daughter's favorite places to visit. She spends a lot of time in each area, and it's always worth the trip there. I love that it's a safe place for families to go to and that the people are always so kind to the kids. I also feel comfortable knowing that my newborn will have an area for me to nurse him in the next time we visit. From indoor play areas to the busy outdoor areas, our toddler leaves this place happy and tired!
google avatar

Trishy-Mae K.

Yelp
My kids love going here! It is so much fun. The age range would be 13 and below, but even as an adult, I had fun playing and exploring with the kids. They have a gift shop, play grocery center, spy center, sensation center (sound & light), reading center, outdoor playground, outdoor water play, outdoor bubbles, and cafe on the first floor. The second floor has a geography center, STEM center (VR/Robots), and air tunnels. We spend a few hours there and ate at the cafe. The food was hot and fresh but a bit on the pricy side but to be expected. Once you pay for admission, you can leave and come back and there are other food establishments close by as an option as well. The restrooms were clean everything was well maintained. Some places that have a high traffic of children get run down and tired but this place was wonderful. Each center we visit was very interactive and memorable for the family. I do wish they would open a place like this for growing teens! They offer summer programs/camps and can host birthday parties. Check out their website for more updated information.

Yelp
Great activity during the hot summers. Lots of things to do, and on a membership, you can take your time and come back. Moose Out

Yelp
Brought my son here last week it was the first time for the both of us. Prices aren't bad $18 for everyone 2 years and older. We ended up getting the membership as we were leaving it seemed more worth it. They allowed us to apply our admission that we paid earlier to the membership pricing. You are only able to do that the same day of buying admission. This place was a lot bigger than I thought. There are so many things to do even. Once you walk in right after paying to get in there are things for the kids. So many different rooms. There is a little town area which is a mini version of HEB, bank, construction site, UPS, airplane, vet, Whataburger, train. You do have to wait in a line as they only let so many people in that area in at a time. They had a space exhibit which I think they change out every few months. I think the next one they swap it to will be dogs. There is also upstairs which has many different areas as well. Outside has bubble play, water play, a big slide/playground, sand area and more. This was a great place. There is also Bakery Lorraine for you to grab some food. You can bring your own food too. Table outside and inside for you to sit and eat. There is an also a hand washing station in that area as well. It's a very clean and spacious museum. They do have field trips which would be as expected. A good option for when it rains or with the summer coming up. I'll be taking him back at least once a month.

Yelp
My kids had a blast and I purchased the annual membership for our family. I'm so excited for the workshops and holiday events. Also, FREE PARKING!

Yelp
Amazing free family night! Would recommend ! They had so much activities to do. They had a lies snake that was beautiful. Her name was Princess. The kids loved her. I loved her!

Yelp
We came here over spring break and the lines was way long, which is to be expected. staff handled the crowds very well & check in went quickly especially for how many people were there.

Myra V.

Yelp
Sandpile and creek were fun for my almost 3 year old . The petrified wood chairs were fun to sit on & the vet office has her favorite stuffed dog.
google avatar

Larissa G.

Yelp
I have been meaning to write this review for a while. We have been here several times and while we have had fun each time, we have also had another child behave rudely towards my son or he comes home sick. One time an older child yelled at my two year old (at the time) because he was playing around him and the parent very rudely said she would "take care of it" but didn't bother to apologize. It was my son's birthday! Another time an older child, yelled at my son in the sand box saying he couldn't play with the toys and the parents were not around to correct this behavior. The last time we went my son contracted strep throat. Kids will be kids, right? But we do not have to tolerate this unacceptable behavior. My child was oblivious each time but I saw how they were acting towards him and I did not like it. We will not be returning.
google avatar

Omar M.

Yelp
Great place for kids hands down. There are so many fun things to do that it's tough to get them to move on to the next play area. There are outdoor as well as indoor play areas. I recommend you arrive early to get good parking as well as plan to eat lunch here. As I hinted earlier, there is a lot to do and you'll want to get your money's worth.
google avatar

Amy T.

Yelp
We drove out here from Austin/Round Rock for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Not for a party but just to do something she finds fun rather than having a room full of family members she doesn't know staring at her every move. She hated her 1st birthday. She wasn't all in but that's just her. She just wanted to roam around. They have so many cool things to do for kids but her faves were: 1) the scarves 2) the ball chute 3) the magetic see through legos 4) the other legos 5) the musical room - omg she loved that 6) the giant lite brite area (which is i believe in that room) They have rooms you can rent that allow you to celebrate a birthday party and a kiddo was having just that on the 2nd floor. Also appeared to have classes etc heb cart room, the bus, the faux airplane area, fake vet area, but my daughter wasnt in the space to get there just quite yet. I have a feeling next time we go she will be in heaven.

Yelp
I love this place and the kids are always excited to go to the DoSeum. This is a great creative space fun for the whole family. Check out the outdoor area for additional exploration. The staff here is always friendly and the fee tj enter is not too bad. I highly recommend the DoSeum for the entire fam.
google avatar

Yelp
We have been to the Doseum a few times throughout the years, and it is always a lovely experience for the kiddos. The place is always nice and clean and the staff members are very friendly. There's plenty of fun activities for the littles. I have a 7-year-old and a toddler, and they both get to enjoy themselves. We look forward to coming back sometime soon.

Yelp
Our family has had a membership at the DoSeum (and its predecessor downtown) for over 10 years. We have had a lot of good times here, whether playing in the tiny town, running up and down the musical stairs, or getting wet at the water tables. A membership is great because you can pop in for short visits, plus you get discounts on camps, events (like "noon year's eve"), and toys at the gift shop. At the DoSeum, kids get to expand their minds and do things they might not have the opportunity to do at home or at school. Plus it's a very photogenic, selfie-friendly place. If you need an excuse to visit but don't have kids at home, look for adult nights, called "Re-do Recess."

Yelp
Very large building with upstairs, downstairs and outside activities. We did it all while we were there. It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon but my kids still were able to have space to play and explore. I would probably only go back if it was in the morning during the week with less people.

Yelp
Technology is always broke We have been coming here at least once a year since they opened. And unless the exhibit is kid powered, it will be broken/down/offline. None of the technology was working in their new dog exhibit -- NOTHING. The stairs that play music did not, the virtual reality goggles only had one that functioned but it was not working properly. It is a cool place and my grands like to go, but a kids' tolerance is lower than mine. Don't have drawing stations without a single pencil or piece of paper. Don't have wood working stations without any wood. Don't have walls that mimic a kids movement if they are offline. Even the tubs of bubble soap were so diluted no one could make a bubble. The room with tubes that suck balls into a big tub was working.... But the suction was so low and we kept having to stick our hands in the tubes to push balls through. The shadow city light was wasn't working. The list goes on and on. I live spending time with my grands so that is wonderful. But the museum itself... total waste of $18 x 2. (The playground worked just fine since it is kid powered. And the Spy section was working.)

Yelp
Thankful to have an amazing resource for children to play and explore with all their senses. All of the exhibit areas are open. Some have not with held time : light/music area, ball area and reading area need some realignment but still fun to visit. I feel some of the charm of the old children's museum is still lacking but I am excited to get to see my son explore.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about the DoSeum, and I highly recommend it for people visiting/living in the San Antonio/Austin area. We have ACM membership through our local children's museum, so we got a discounted rate, which was very much worth it. The little kid zone was fun, but my toddlers got bored quick. The bubble zone was a huge hit with my kiddos along with the water zone. My husband's favorite was the force zone with all the crazy tubes and balls! Such an incredible experience. We spent a couple hours there and never ran out of things to do. I think it's notable there were 2 large school groups there but there was an excellent parent/student ratio and the museum felt big enough where everyone had enough space and I never felt my toddlers were in danger of being knocked over by enthusiastic older children. The in house bakery had limited options, but they weren't ridiculously expensive, our order came out quick, and it tasted pretty good! Overall, highly recommend! Will come back if back in the area.

Yelp
We bought a years pass here for the 2022 year starting on Black Friday 2021. Our experience: Kids are a little older and didn't like all exhibits. Negatives first: -masks were required for a very long time after the majority of Texas stopped using them/requiring them. When the museum finally stopped mask use the lady at the counter told me "we have stopped our mask requirement but will reenact it if San Antonio Covid numbers increase too high." -the counter informed me that prices for guest tickets were increasing $5 a person event though we bought our year pass under a different agreement. They changed prices in the middle of our year pass and we were not grandfathered in. -I asked at the cafe for something without cheese And they replayed "why do you have an allergy" because apparently customer preference is not enough and my medical information is necessary for sandwich and wrap assembly. -Staff on the spy museum took over a problem and solved it for my daughter when she struggled. Some others hovered excessively. -I was taking my child to the bathroom and an employee stopped to ask them if they needed the restroom because they where holding themselves. Strange. -the snack bar/cafe does not have fries. The food is tuned to trends. Do not try the lemon vinaigrette. You will have a sore throat for two days. -some exhibits no longer function as intended. I'm looking at you first floor. - there are posters promoting vaccines near the bathrooms in cartoon display. You make up your mind about this. Positives: -spy academy is super fun for the older kids. -the facility is clean. Including the many abundant bathrooms. - the outdoor area is superb. Climbing and water structures both. Kids loved them and felt safe exploring. - there is a lot of staff readily available is needed. -the ball machine upstairs is a lot of fun for every age. -the kids liked going for an hour or two once a month or every few months. Longer or more it did get boring. -the gift shop has some fun stuff. I don't think we will be back. I would rather visit something with less busy work and more educational value but if you have small children a years pass may be a good value.
