The Draen

In a lovely location with super views, I had a wonderful stay - did a little stargazing (from my bedroom and bathroom windows!), enjoyed a delightful bath, had a delicious breakfast (would have had the cooked breakfast if I could have managed it) and had a lovely chat with Sue who was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The ideal B&B: a lovely old farmhouse at the end of a quiet lane. Beautiful scenery all around. Room was comfortable and warm and Sue was a great host. Breakfast great. Can't find a fault.

What a fantastic find! Sue, was amazing - friendly, helpful and conscientious. Our room was perfect - super clean, cotton bedding and towels and lovely bathroom with lots of hot water. A beautiful location and a very warm welcome. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked for each individual. Nothing too much trouble. If we come back to the area we will definitely stay at The Draen with Sue. A perfect host.

If you’re looking for a secluded peaceful location then this is for you. Not far from Brecon for shops and pubs. Wonderful scenery. A bit of a hair raising lane in if you’re not use to country lanes but no more than a few mins on this lane and well worth the trip. Lovely hosts. Wonderful and huge cooked breakfast. Good size room and very comfortable. We stayed in the rose suite room which had its own sitting area downstairs. I’m guessing that would be very useful for longer stays but the room itself is more than adequate. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to revisit.

we stayed here for two nights and it was amazing. Lovely old farm house in a great location to the mountains. The breakfast, most of the ingredients sourced from the local farmers, was delicious. Highly recommend Sue and her husband are doing a great job.

Sue was a wonderful host! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The area is somewhat remote which makes it perfect for a quiet night and a great hike. Highly recommended!

Fantastic b&b. Spent a long weekend recently and were spoiled by the wonderful host and hostess. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
