A vibrant place with a large selection of craft beer and other drinks. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was really happy they let me taste a couple of things from the menu before ordering. I recommend paying them a visit.

EMILY IS SO NICE!! I was shocked at how well established this place was in its culture and wonderful array of options and artwork. It was so fun getting to have a hands on experience and great suggestions for a nice bottle to take with us. Most bottles of red were $30+, my mother and I had selected a nice bottle suggested by Emily to which we enjoyed by the hot tub at the nearby hotel. The door also had a unique wood full length handle - nice touch.

Happened across this place next to our hotel for a late Friday night beverage before ending our evening. The drink selection here was awesome, as was the atmosphere. We came back twice, found one of our new favorite drinks, and got a growler to commemorate! Will definitely be back next time we are in Missoula.

It was a fun place to bar hop with out door seating and an interesting selection of craft beer.... I was looking for a Blonde Ale and they is just happened to have one teed up while waiting to go to the Kettelhouse amphitheatre for a great concert.

I have been coming here for the past year or so when I am in Missoula. I only wish I had found it earlier. I literally come here every time I am in Missoula, that's how much I like it! Not only do they have 40 taps with beer from around the world, they have 3 hard ciders that rotate, which is why I come here. I love cider!! The staff is always welcoming, the store is always clean, and it is very welcoming. No blaring TVs, just a variety of music which is never too loud. They don't have food, but you can bring any that you would like. Either from home, or from any of the restaurants in the area. If you haven't been here, you are missing out on a great place.

Great beer selection. The flights are so much fun. You can order food from the Pearl next door. A fun experience everytime I go.

When looking for a nightcap, we stopped to get a drink and we liked the nice outdoor seating area and the large selection of drinks. I got a New Zealand sauv (or maybe pinot) and it was absolutely fantastic. Cute glassware as well.

Made a brief pit stop here while strolling downtown Missoula. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. Mainly a beer and cider spot with a few wines and wine flights. Affordable and has space to sit and work or space for larger groups. There is also patio dining for nice weather days. Burger cart on the end of the street.

Great selection of beers and BYO food option! Frequently stop by for a beer or a root beer.

We're visitors staying in the holiday inn next door needing alcohol because we are parents. Lol. LOVE THIS PLACE. Great selection. Love the tasting sizes. Came back a 2nd time and found the kids corner! Kept the kiddo entertained while we drank our faves. The toys are actually amazing and in good condition. Lots of books as well. Highly recommend to parents who need a break. You're doing great guys. Can't wait to tell everyone about this place!

I purchased a gift certificate for a 3 month wine subscription for my daughter's birthday. Elizabeth was wonderful in helping me put it all together as a fun surprise. My daughter and her husband were both delighted with her selection for the first month, and can't wait to pick up their next month's subscription order. I am looking forward to visiting the Dram Shop myself the next time I am in town. Great job, Elizabeth!

Coming here for years Drinks still first rate Service? Not so much. The afternoon server was absolutely incapable of dealing with more than one customer. And when that customer takes 5 minutes to peruse the menu, the rest of the shop waits. And waits.

From out of town, came in to find some IPAs to go. Asked the bartender for his best 3 and I'm through 2 of them and they are great selections. Good spirited place, nice setup and solid brew selection. Just wish I could have hung out for a few drafts.

Great spot to drop in an grab tasters of lots of different beers on tap and bottle for sale. Outdoor patio available.

Really nice bar. I enjoyed the beer options and the assistance provided. Reasonable prices. No surcharge on the high end beers selected in flights. Wine available for non beer drinkers. I like the fact that they have good beer whether made locally or not. Lots of local for those so inclined however.

What a great wine bar and beer shop! We stayed nearby at the holiday inn and this place was super close. They have a really cute patio in the front and the inside is relatively big. They also have an extensive wine and beer list and food prices. We had the sparkling rosé and still rosé from Banshee (one of my fav rosés and they had it on tap!) both were a good price (I believe about $9 a glass) and large pours which always make me happy. It also looks like they have a pretty good happy hour. If you're there after 5pm, you can order food from next door and they bring it over to you. If you're there earlier and want some lunch, you can order delivery to here too! Next time I'm in Missoula I'll definitely come back on a nice day to enjoy their patio.

I love this place. I am not a beer person at all but the sours here have my heart. I prefer the location in south missoula for the ambiance but both locations are nice. South missoula location has a little more space and a cute outdoor patio though. Service is fast and attentive, knowledgeable about the drinks. They give you a good amount for what you pay for as well. Love love the sours!

If you're lookin for a brewery atmosphere, but with not just local craft beers this is your place! Not only do they serve beer here from all over the country, buuuuut yes but they also have wine for the wine drinkers. They have cider for the folk lookin for a little different taste and yes Kombucha for the those looking for a healthier drink. Let's just say if you're here you will have plenty of options to drink. There's plenty of seating whether you want to sit inside or outside. What I also really love about this place is that they stay open later than the other breweries so you can get your craft beer after the others close!

The Dram Shop has amazing beer, need I say more? We came in to drink beer, and we succeeded. It is hard to review, because my time can be better spent sitting at a stool drinking there beer and socializing. I suppose since yelp is asking... yes, I give them 5 stars. Yes, they have great service, and YES.. they have beer - great beer!

Two things I love about Dram Shop... first, ordering beef kebabs and fries from the Pearl Cafe next door, second, the wine tastings they do with Riversong Gourmet. Elizabeth knows how to do a wine tasting! Mmm!

We liked this place so much we went twice in less than 24 hours. Great selection of draft beer, cider, and wine from local places and lots of bottles and cans from all over the northwest. Awesome merch, too! It would be a great place to meet a large group but also was awesome for the two of us to sit quietly and catch up on our phones. The ambiance is great and I LOVED the simple and modern decor.

Extensive selection of beers and ciders arranged by types. The brewer, state, and data are clearly displayed which makes it easy to select without having to bother the staff. Inside and outdoor seating are both comfortable.

So far this has been a great addition to Missoula. Good selection of beer and wine on tap. You should really try the Grapefruit beer!

Rotating beer taps feature a nice range of brews-- some local, some international, some seasonal, some timeless. Chill vibes and friendly staff... Plus you can try a taster before you buy a glass or a growler of whatever size suits your fancy. For a flexible spot to drink or post up with a game: seems pretty ideal to me.

This Missoula taproom offers a good variety of mostly local beers - plus some selections from elsewhere, a few wines, a ginger beer and a root beer. I appreciated that they offered small 7oz pours so that I could try several different kinds of beer. (Including a sour from Idaho that came in the cutest tiny snifter.) Service was friendly and helpful, and our bartender checked in with us often to see what we wanted to try next. Seating was open, with an array of tables and high-tops. Customers order their drinks at the bar. There's a small play corner for children. It didn't look like they offered much food beyond a selection of chips, but they had menus for two nearby eateries that will deliver.

Gotta give this place props! An upscale beer and wine hangout. No food but they make some nearby delivery menus available. I ordered the beef skewers from the Pearl next door, and as always The Pearl didn't disappoint! In fact they were fantastic. The smokey aoli with the shoestring fries was great. A father and young daughter were coloring crayon books in a corner and ordered in a Pizza to go with his beer of choice. Nice vibe and the gal in charge of the wines knows her wine quite well! She served up a red Bordeaux (tap believe it or not). Very good for $7!

The Dram shop is one of my favorite places in Missoula. My friends and love hanging out here because it's not too loud but still a vibrant atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

So ... let's imagine that you are planning a first date with someone you'd like to know better, and you really don't want to do the standard Red Bird restaurant deal, or the Silk Road, or Lolo Creek Steakhouse, or ... whatever. How to first-date with some originality and style in Zootown? Start by meeting for a late afternoon latte at Black Coffee. You know, a safe, hip spot where the two of you can meet in a casual coffeehouse setting. Talk shop. Plan a hike. Order a pour-over and discuss the relative merits of Four Barrel versus Sightglass in the San Francisco cult coffee roasting scene. Who knows? Next, walk to the Dram Shop, maybe between 5 pm and 6, not too late, with a little bit of sunset to keep things romantic and fun. Order wine from the bar and ask to see the Pearl restaurant delivery menu. They will bring you your choices directly to the Dram Shop; no need to even get out of your barstool. Something light and easy to eat, like a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Act sophisticated. Order the Edna Valley Albariño from Tangent, if it's on the menu. It's a great white wine, fruit forward like a Viognier but with lighter body and crispness, quaffable like Grüner Veltliner, but with less grassiness. Beer would be fine, too. There are lots of options. But honestly: it's your first date, don't start hitting the pints already; wine on tap is far, far sexier. So, it's like you're eating out, except that you're not. You're having a drink at one of Missoula's newest and most exciting spots, with food from one of its better restaurants, and you're barely spending any money. The next morning ... go to the Trailhead and buy each other something nice, for $20 or less. Then go on a hike, something challenging but not too terrible, with potential make-out spots along the trail. Like the Strawberry Ridge loop in the Rattlesnake, for example (Stuart Peak trail to Kench Meadow, cross Spring Gulch to Wallman Trail, right on side trail 29.2 to Rattlesnake Creek). Then, head BACK to the Dram Shop, this time for a beer, maybe a pilsner or local lager, maybe something dark and brooding, whatever the situation seems to be calling for. That's it. You'll know if you and your date have chemistry, or not. You'll not have spent huge amounts of cash on an expensive meal, and you'll have done fun things and seen each other sweat, and nothing says "keeper" than than. With the help of the Dram Shop, and a little bit of old fashioned creativity, anything - even love - is possible. Happy trails, enjoy the wine and beer, and bottoms up!

This place is IT! Thirty-two draft lines carrying "near and far" craft brews from Montana and beyond. Sourcing local is great, but turns out, the world has great beer too. Also you can "Where's Waldo" yourself to their "junk line" which is one designated line carrying mass- manufactured, widely distributed beers like Dos Equis or Busch Lite (I find a lot of humor in this since it has a "which one is not like the other" quality to it.) A buyer's gotta have a palate but he doesn't gotta be highfalutin. Dram shop is faluntin-free and probably has a few gluten-free options to boot! Today, I picked up a 32-oz. growler of a hopped sour, which came with a tag that included helpful tips on the best glassware (a 10oz snifter) I should use at home when I imbibe. Beer in the States just keeps getting better and better, I mean a hopped sour!? Get the H outta here! Plus an educational glassware tag...details, folks, it's all in the details. In need of a date night? Pearl is right next door, so you can prefunk at Dram before getting fancy over there, or skip dinner altogether in favor of drinking your calories, or you can order mussels and frites from the bar. Save a nickel and don't deal with the uncomfortable played-out dinner date and do both yourselves a favor, keep it casual, and start with drinks. The owner Zach was in last time I stopped by. Dude is clearly an advanced beer geek - while he is obviously busy he had plenty of time to talk beer with custys. Nice guy. The Dram shop is charming as hell - map it!

Such a fun environment! People are friendly and the beer, wine, and kombucha options are amazing.

Decent enough place with good products and ok service-depends on who you get. The atmosphere is a real let down. They are always blasting the music etc so loud the bartenders have to ask you to report your order 2-3 times. Plus the music they play honestly sounds like feral cats trying to sing Metallica songs.

We love Dram Shop! It's fun to hang out there and drink from their great selection of beers and wines. The people who work there are knowledgeable.

The beer selection is quite good, but there were children running through the building constantly. When I mentioned to the woman behind the bar that this was disruptive, she pointed me to the owner...of the shop and the children. He was not pleased that I mentioned this. When I shared the interaction with my date, the worker stated that there were lots of other places we could go in Missoula. She's right. Not our first time here, but it's our last.

Kind of a neat place for grabbing a beer in Missoula. They had a lot of variety which my wife and I appreciated (She doesn't like beer...and they offer some wine selections as well). My only negative is that I stood at the bar for 5 minutes and wasn't even acknowledge (not great customer service) but this was my first and only experience so who knows. We will definitely go again.

Great decor, awesome music, tasty franks. They have a huge menu and a ton of awesome dram shop garb. I'm so glad I can have wine in the same location I can have a craft beer. Friendly service also a plus!

What an awesome bar. I'm so jealous of Missoula for having this place. It has kind of an upscale casual ambiance. Fantastic, diverse selection of beers to choose from, many from local breweries. The design of the place is very cool, modern but comfortable (there's even a children's play area in one corner in the back), and it's tucked away on a side street downtown in a kind of quiet area. Seemed to have a "grown up" clientele. There was a nice mix of ages represented, including people in their 20s, parents with their children in tow, and middle-aged and older folks. It's a nice, civilized bar to hang out with friends and enjoy some good beer in a place that has a fun atmosphere without college kids getting hammered all around you.

This place is really cute! I wish they had more gluten free options (rather than just 3 ciders - one of which they said no one ever orders) but they had a large selection of beers. My boyfriend wishes they had more Montana beers since there's so many good breweries in the area! The prices are good and they have awesome growlers for purchase.

Our new favorite place in Missoula! Super friendly, great selection, wide variety. Fun to discover local brews! Nice that they have komboucha too. If you find something you really like, there's a great assortment of growlers and other containers for take home. Can order food from Pearl Cafe next door and have it delivered or go a couple doors over to the Market On Front - some really good things there.

This place is great. Perfect spot for a date night. Sit at the bar with a few pints and order a salad or some french onion soup from The Pearl next store. Super relaxing atmosphere with knowledgable bar keeps. The only problem is sometimes they run out of an extra tasty beer :)

This is a great place! There's a great selection of local and regional beverages at a reasonable price - $4-5ish per pint (which is cheap if you're used to HI or CA or big city prices). The ambiance is clean, light, and open which is a nice change from a standard dark dank bar. Super friendly service too. The staff gave us recommendations on where to bike, hike, and camp. I'll be back next time I cruise through Missoula.
