We dined at The Drawing Room on a Thursday evening, and although the place was not crowded, our experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. This was our third visit, and by far the most underwhelming one.
To begin on a positive note, the staff members are genuinely sweet and friendly. However, there is a noticeable lack of product knowledge. When I inquired about the dressing for the Cucumber Crispy Rice Salad, the description provided did not match what was actually served at all. The salad arrived with little to no dressing, leaving it bland and lacking flavor. I requested additional dressing, which turned out to be plain soy sauce, something that did not complement the dish and further diminished the overall taste. Considering the price of the salad, the experience did not justify the cost.
We also ordered the Parisian Burger, which was fine but not remarkable, despite being listed as one of their best sellers. The fries portion served alongside was surprisingly small.
The only enjoyable item of the evening was the Chicken Fingers. When I asked how many pieces were included, the waitress mentioned four, but the dish came with six, this was the one pleasant surprise.
I shared my disappointment with the waitress, but no action was taken, nor was there any follow-up or request for further clarification. This lack of acknowledgment added to the overall dissatisfaction.
In addition, the indoor temperature was extremely cold—uncomfortably, which affected the dining atmosphere.
Overall, this visit was disappointing in several areas: the food quality, the atmosphere, and the service knowledge. Given that this is our third visit, and our second time dealing with service-related issues, I hope the management takes these points into consideration to enhance the dining experience moving forward.
