Our first experience was awful. We arrived and immediately asked to move, because the couches were reserved for “moms with children,” even though there were about five tables on the couch. The waitress showed little to no interest in taking our order. I get it, we are all human, but unfortunately the attitude was the thing that bothered us the least.
I ordered the English Breakfast and it arrived without beans, even though I paid for them. The waitress did not bother to tell me why so I had to get up and ask, only to be told that “they ran out of beans.” This could have easily been avoided by informing me before I ordered. They offered me “extra tomatoes and mushrooms” to compensate, but that did not make much sense to me.
The eggs were fried until completely hard, the sausage was full of gristle and the toast was barely toasted.
My wife ordered Turkish Eggs and, unfortunately, they were insanely mediocre, two barely poached eggs on top of plain sour greek yogurt, with some unpleasant tasting spices on top. She also had something green on her toast, I thought it might have been some kind of seasoning, but I truly hope it wasn’t mold.
Anyway, a very bad first experience. We probably won’t come back and will never recommend this place. It’s a shame, because my wife had decent experiences here in the past. We left hungry and were charged for missing ingredients.
