Absolutely fantastic food! I should have taken photos to include, but unfortunately didn't. I had the spicy chicken enchiladas and they were fab. Loads of chicken inside. The portions were massive, I couldn't finish all my meal as there was so much. The other three dining with me also thoroughly enjoyed their meals (venison lasagnes and burger). Staff were really friendly too. I would highly recommend this place.

hi Team, thank you for your great hospitality. We stayed at your place for the first time last week, but will definitely return. The service, athmosphere, breakfast and the twin room (Dumgoyne) was just awesome. We have also enjoyed the good conversation with Stewart. It was fun to see how he did his best to offer your choice of Islay whiskys. In the end it was a Bunnahabain 12yrs, which I liked very much. Keep going and enjoy :) Cya soon Andy

Only gave a 4* as we didn’t eat, but from the menu and the food that we seen coming out of the kitchen I think it won’t be long before I upgrade the score. Other than that the staff where lovely, the drinks where too. Said we would be back and we did. Food was lovely. Sorry forgot to take a photo before starting to eat.

Ate here a couple of times while camping/ hiking in Trossachs. Food is excellent with service good also. One complaint from last visit where we stopped in for breakfast and to watch the Lions game on a Weds morning in July. The bar was almost empty think there was 1 other customer when we arrived. Asked for TV to be put but a rather sour faced staff member moaned that we would have to watch with no sound. We thought she was joking but a bit later when the game started we asked again, got right moaning face where she turned up the sound but only to an almost inaudible level. By the time the game started there were another 3/4 customers all of whom seemed to be interested in watching the game. Seeing as the bar promotes itself as a Sports Bar its perhaps worthwhile telling some of the staff. Hopefully be better next time we visit.

We stayed at a campsite down the road and came here for a good breakfast before we left. The food was fantastic, the staff were welcoming and it was a lovely pub! We actually forgot some sunglasses and they kindly posted them back up to us - can’t recommend enough.

We didn’t stay in the rooms. But we went out for a family meal suggested by a family member who lives up there. The atmosphere was so friendly for younger kids as well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the meals for the kids were great. The food was very well priced and the food was amazing. Definitely go there if you get the opportunity I will be going back there again. 10/10 on everything.

After our first day hiking on the West Highland Way, the Drymen Inn was a lovely place to land owing to the wonderful people working here. Our three rooms were not quite ready when we arrived, but Jacyln invited us to enjoy a beverage in the bar with a professional, but very friendly manner. Our rooms were soon ready and after a lovely shower, we returned to have a pre-dinner drink served up by Kerr who exuded a great Scottish vibe even though she was crazy busy. After a restful night, our included breakfast (only for those staying @ the Inn), was tasty and filling, perfect for our long hiking day ahead. One last compliment: Jane (who was working the breakfast shift), helped us out a ton, by mentioning a better way of rejoining the WHW trail rather than backtracking on the busy road. She took time out of her busy schedule to make certain that we knew the way before we departed. Just one more example of how the staff here was the best!

Booked last minute while walking the WHW. It was just what we needed for a wet day. Lovely welcome from the staff. Our room was room 5, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but functional (no toilet brush), the basin is small and difficult to fill the kettle, but doable. However, there is a bottle of water, but we used that for drinking water. Booked a table for our evening meal and had a very tasty meal (compliments to the chef). The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and would set us up for the day.

Yelp
They have 5 guest rooms, themselves. But they also have a restaurant and bar. Inside and outside dining is available. We are staying at the Braeside, 2 building behind them, and this is where you get your breakfast in the morning. If you choose that package.

Yelp
We stopped only for a pint beer and Cider after day 1 of the West Highland Way, the garden is comfortable and we enjoyed our drinks in calm with other hikers

Yelp
Walking into a quiet pub (5 locals sat at the bar) and hearing comment passed on your arrival is always a bit annoying, particularly in somewhere the size of Drymen which only has 4 pubs, all of which must benefit from the trade of walkers and other visitors. Rude local bloke aside The Drymen Inn wasn't a bad spot for a pint. At least one beer on handpull, varied & comfy seating, reasonable decor and not bad tunes.

Yelp
Nice pub with a nice little beer garden out the back with big umbrellas for that unpredictable Scottish weather. Food is decent, I had the chicken tikka with pepper sauce which was lovely and they were showing the football which was a plus for one of us.... Also solid baby changing facilities but it was really hot in the bathroom for some reason?

Yelp
Great place to go - and reasonably priced as well. Chicken parmigiana with a sweet red sauce - hubby had fish. Portions were big! Yay! Leftovers!

Yelp
Would rate the food as good. Nothing exceptional. There's better down the street at the Clachan, but the hotel itself was very good. Nice room, friendly staff and convenient (for Scotland) parking. If you are staying in the Drymen area I would definitely recommend the Drymen Inn.

Yelp
Arrived to chose our own table. Dirty floors (food not swept away), tables are sticky. Waitress served us like she was in a hurry. She told us the cakes were in the main area (like we were supposed to know that) and to take a look ourselves. Made our selection and made our order.. drinks and cakes arrived quite quickly, the same waitress rushed and dropped a drink on the floor, luckily the glass did not smash but some of the drink landed on my son's 3 day old trainers!! She said it was an accident and she she did not do it on purpose (?!) We were not asked to move while the floor was mopped up, a replacement drink arrived, drinks and food were great and tasty. The waitress said the drinks will be discounted. Went to pay, and ended up paying for 3 cakes instead of 4, the costs of the drinks were no applied to the bill Food and drinks were great. Just hopefully you get a server who is not in a rush!

Yelp
Your generic pub food here. Came here for dinner and the food was great. They have a large conservatory section which is quite nice to sit in. The waiter we had was very friendly and chatty, I believe he was the owner of the Drymen Inn. There is also a carpark nearby so is convenient for parking.

Yelp
Nice place to stop after trudging for a day on the WHW. Recommended: smoked haddock w/risotto and the wonderful grilled salmon.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful place to stay. Great food and greater hospitality with a nice view. Relaxing in the restaurant in the morning with a cup of tea is the best way to start a morning. If Scottish charm is what you're looking for look no further. This was a wonderful stay for me and my family
