This was not my first stay at The Dubai EDITION. I was well aware of its flaws from a previous visit, but I decided to give it a second chance primarily because I needed to be in Downtown. While there are positives, unfortunately, many things have not improved, and some actually surprised me negatively. The Positives: * Location: Strategic and convenient. It remains a strong selling point. * Staff: A definite improvement from my last visit. Everyone was present, cordial, and helpful. Housekeeping was also impeccable. * Style: The EDITION aesthetic is there, visually pleasing as always. The Negatives (Structural): * Soundproofing: Even on the 15th floor (unlike the lower floor I had last time), traffic noise is still clearly audible. * Wear & Tear: The furniture choices haven’t aged well; sofas and armchairs show clear signs of wear. * Design flaws: Small annoyances like the AC light being incredibly bright in the dark. The Negatives (Amenities & Standards): This is where I am baffled. For a 5-star hotel in a competitive market like Dubai, basic luxuries are missing: * Minibar: Empty unless requested. This is acceptable only if compensated with high-quality complimentary snacks, which were absent. * Coffee & Water: Plastic water bottles and low-quality coffee (not even Nespresso). Not up to par. * Linens: The towels were worn thin—threadbare. Unacceptable at this price point. * Comfort: Pillows were completely deflated and overused. * Check-in: My room wasn’t ready until 5:00 PM. Making guests wait this long is poor service. While structural issues are hard to fix, the lack of investment in "soft" products (towels, pillows, amenities) is surprising. I love the EDITION brand, but I am surprised Marriott doesn't intervene here to protect the brand's reputation.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dubai EDITION. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Ahmed, who upgraded us to a lovely suite and was incredibly accommodating with all of our requests, it really made the stay feel extra special. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and everything felt calm, seamless, and well thought-out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it. Looking forward to staying again soon.

From the moment I entered, everything felt calm, refined, and effortlessly luxurious. The design is stunning modern, artistic, and warm at the same time. There’s a beautiful sense of balance here: sophistication without pressure, luxury without noise. The atmosphere made me feel relaxed, safe, and inspired. Every detail, from the interiors to the energy of the space, feels intentional and tasteful. The service is discreet, polished, and genuinely welcoming you feel respected and cared for without being overwhelmed.

After my first review, the hotel reached out and asked me to remove it. The duty manager, Mina, promised a future suite upgrade or a free night and said he’d email confirmation — but nothing ever came. I’m not asking for anything. What really disappointed me is how easily they make promises and then pull back, as if the guest doesn’t matter. It felt dismissive and careless, and it shows a clear lack of accountability and management coordination. The Edition Dubai** was a real shock and disappointment. The issues were not only with cleanliness, but also with the management, housekeeping, and front desk staff, which were among the worst we have experienced. The room itself was acceptable, but the level of cleanliness was very poor and does not reflect a 5-star hotel standard. The baby crib provided was dirty and unhygienic, which is completely unacceptable. This is the third time we have raised the same complaint with no real improvement, showing a serious lack of care and accountability.

An Exceptional Urban Escape in the Heart of Dubai Staying at The Dubai Edition was a truly memorable experience. From the moment you walk in, the hotel impresses with its sleek design, calming atmosphere, and warm hospitality. The interiors strike the perfect balance between contemporary elegance and understated luxury, every detail feels intentional and refined. The staff were genuinely attentive and made every interaction feel personal and effortless. My room was spacious, beautifully styled, and offered a sense of tranquility that’s rare to find in the middle of the city. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa, yet the hotel feels like a serene retreat once you step inside. Whether it’s enjoying breakfast by the pool, sipping a cocktail at the bar, or unwinding in the lobby lounge, every corner has its own charm. Highlights: • Impeccable design and ambiance • Exceptional service with a personal touch • Prime central location • Beautifully curated F&B experiences I’d highly recommend The Dubai Edition to anyone looking for a refined, stylish, and genuinely welcoming stay in Dubai. It’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience.

I stayed at The Edition Dubai for a business trip, having previously enjoyed an excellent experience at The Edition Singapore, which set fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell well short, especially considering the price. The room was small and very basic, not what I would associate with The Edition brand. I stayed on the 7th floor and found it extremely noisy at night, with traffic noise continuing well past midnight. Sleep quality was poor. The location is convenient, within walking distance to Dubai Mall, and breakfast was acceptable, though limited to just two menu selections rather than a full buffet. Overall, the value simply isn’t there. I decided to shorten my stay, that says it all. Dubai has many hotels that are significantly better and more comfortable at a lower price point. Disappointing stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Edition Dubai. The property absolutely lives up to the Edition standards — elegant, modern, and very well executed. I’ve seen some of the poor ratings online, but in my experience, they’re undeserved. Service was polished, the atmosphere was vibrant, and everything from dining to design felt high-end and on point. The only drawback is that the hotel does not offer suite upgrades. This is an ownership decision, not a reflection of the staff, who were professional and attentive throughout. If you go in with the expectation that upgrades aren’t part of the offering, the stay is very enjoyable. Overall, The Edition Dubai is a strong choice for those who appreciate the brand’s signature style and consistent quality.

We stayed at The Edition Dubai and honestly, it ended up being one of our favorite hotels in the city. The design is the first thing you notice. Everything is covered with travertine and warm wood, which gives the whole place a clean and calming feeling the moment you walk in. It looks luxury but in a simple and relaxed way. Our room was great. Big, super comfortable, and very quiet. The bed and linens were really high quality and the Le Labo products were such a nice touch. Even a quick shower felt like a small pampering moment. Everything was spotless and felt new. We spent a lot of time at the pool and the view is just crazy. Sitting there with the Burj Khalifa right in front of you is something you do not get tired of. It never felt loud or busy, just a really good place to relax. The location is perfect. You can walk to Dubai Mall in a few minutes which made everything really easy. Food, coffee, shopping, everything is close by without needing to think about taxis. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh, tasty, and with a lot of options. You can really feel that the food is good quality. The gym also surprised us, very clean and well equipped. We worked out every morning and it had everything we needed. Service throughout the stay was great. Everyone was friendly in a natural way, not forced. Anything we needed was handled fast and with a smile. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel looks amazing, the location is super convenient, and all the small details make a big difference. We would definitely come back on our next trip to Dubai.
