The chicken strips were cooked to perfection, they are some of the juiciest and tender pieces of chicken I’ve ever had. Probably could’ve ate them without teeth if I didn’t have any. The cheese fries were amazing with the perfect amount of cheese, on top of that, this wonderful lady Diane offered me an additional order of cheese fries that someone forgot to take with them. Diane was the nicest, most welcoming person I’ve been around. Highly recommend the duck inn in wolf lake Illinois.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The chicken tenders shattered my entire universe. My outlook on life is different, I get what it all means now. I have never had chicken cooked this perfectly. I came in with low expectations and no plan. But after sitting at the bar for a while and chatting with Diane - who is an absolute gem of a human being btw - recommended I try out the chicken tenders. I decided to live life a little bit and threw in a side of cheese fries. My oh my, I simply just can’t describe the experience I had. My family will speak of the Duck inn for generations to come. I’ve traveled all over the world, virtually. I got the Dianne special- crispy tenders and two orders of fries with cheese sauce ownum. It was so good my wife cried! We left telling the staff “we’re comin for ye!”
