The Dudley Boutique Hotel

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Dudley. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out everything was amazing. The bed was very comfortable (love the electric blanket) the furnishings were lovely - there are two sitting rooms where you can sit quietly and read. The cheese platter with wine was a welcome treat and the breakfast was divine and I am totally coming back for the French Toast alone. I can thoroughly recommend the Dudley and we will definitely be staying there next time we are in the area.

The most incredible stay! The Dudley is pure luxury - Charles & Adrian excel in making your stay exceptional. Luxurious amenities, silver service, privacy and attention to detail makes you feel very special. Nothing is lacking. The decor is divine - we felt we could have been anywhere in the world. It’s those touches that make a stay truly memorable. Breakfast caters to your every whim - with an array of teas served in exquisite teapots. Evening wine canapés & cheese was dreamy too. We could not recommend our stay highly enough - 7 ⭐️ !!! This is a hotel we will most definitely return to over and over again. Thank you for your hospitality Charles & Adrian

We had an amazing weekend stay at The Dudley! The hotel is cosy and intimate, with so much care put into every detail. Our room was beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was out of this world, the French toast is a must! Charles & Adrian made the whole experience unforgettable - their attention to detail, care, and warmth created a truly special stay - 5 stars just isn’t enough. We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit!

I left The Dudley Boutique Hotel impressed. Every part of my stay showed careful thought and pride in service. The room felt fresh and calm. Bedding was crisp. Lighting worked for both reading and relaxing. Amenities were high quality, placed where you expect them. Housekeeping kept everything spotless. Small touches stood out, from a warm welcome on arrival to bottled water refreshed without asking and a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. The hosts were outstanding. They greeted me by name, learned my preferences, and followed through. They shared clear local tips for walks, galleries, and dining in Daylesford. They handled bookings and transport without fuss. Conversation felt natural, and their timing was perfect, present when needed and discreet the rest of the time. In short, amazing hosts. Breakfast set the tone each day. Produce tasted fresh. Coffee arrived hot. Service moved quickly, so I never felt rushed or waiting. Common areas were quiet and well kept, ideal for reading or planning the day. Parking was simple. Check in and check out were smooth. I travel often for work and leisure. This is the best hotel I have stayed at. The Dudley pairs old-world charm with modern comfort, and the team delivers service at a high level. I will return and I recommend it to anyone visiting Daylesford.

What a restorative stay at the Dudley. Everything here is so intentional and thoughtful. Beautiful bed linens, delicious breakfast with a view over the tranquil gardens, a warm library with comfy armchairs that invite you to linger and of course the most charming and gracious hosts. I’m so glad we went with the magnesium spa soak. Had the best sleep in a long long time and almost missed breakfast!

I have stayed in many lovely hotels in Australia and overseas and The Dudley Boutique Hotel rates at the very top. Immaculately clean, beautifully styled, extremely comfortable with every detail from bathroom products to the tea and coffee served personally selected by the owners to their exacting standards. The hosts Adrian and Charles provide a wonderful mix of professional and thoughtful service. It is clear they care deeply about providing a great experience for their guests. The location is also great. Over the road is the Hepburn Springs Spa and parkland, and from there you can hike on bush trails to see the area. Its a short, pleasant drive to Hepburn or Daylesford for dinner, lunch or shopping, and if you need them to, your hosts will drive you to and from your dinner venue so you can enjoy a local brew or wine! On our morning of departure we left at 7am to start the long drive back to Sydney and Adrian and Charles appeared to farewell us with lattes to go! We will be back.

My husband & I have stayed here multiple times & it is the only place we would stay in the Hepburn Springs/Daylesford area! The accommodation is outstanding with attention in every detail! Adrian & Charles are amazing hosts & nothing is too much trouble! The breakfast is amazing & the wine & cheese platter in the afternoon is delicious! We love staying here & cannot wait till our next stay!!!

This was our second time staying at The Dudley Boutique Hotel and once again it has been absolutely fantastic. When you arrive you are greeted at the door by the owners Charles and Adrian and your relaxing stay begins. There is nothing left to want when staying at The Dudley. Comfortable bedrooms and relaxing communal spaces with open fireplaces. A large deck overlooking a spectacular yard is lovely in the sun. The new private wellness retreat with spa and sauna has added a whole new level of relaxation! Three course breakfasts every morning prepared by Charles, wine and cheese each evening in front of the fireplace. Chauffeur driven to and from dinner bookings…..there really is nothing to do but relax and enjoy. Everyone deserves to be pampered and Charles and Adrian have done a remarkable job of making sure their hotel is just the place to achieve this. We can’t wait for our next visit!
