The Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct

O found the concept interesting. Once it was a hospital now converted to restaurants and shops. Many restaurants have both inside and outside seating arrangements. 1st floor has the better view of the ocean. Of you are lucky, you can spot some peacocks while dining. Toilets are not very good, stinky. Inside yard has construction work going on, so sometimes may get noisy.

Nice place but the repair and maintenance is extremly low or lazy....I know that in tropical climate that it is going very fast, so the paintjobs should be faster. I am sure that the rents for the shops are high enough for a much better maintenance. A shame for the owners of this old wonderful building.

A must-visit in Galle! Beautifully restored colonial buildings with a mix of boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Perfect place to stroll, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy a meal or drink. Lovely atmosphere, especially in the evening.

It is just one of the buildings inside galleries fort . There is no hospital now ! It is all occupied by eateries and gem shops. You can get nice pictures as the building gives a traditional vibe and background

An old colonial building being readjusted to become a shopping and restaurants street with abundant of shops and very close to the line of fort wall. The time we visited they are still renovating a portion of it. Majority of the restaurants are more like an irish pubs and a couple of cafes.

Beautiful tourist attraction place. Having many restaurants with different budget categories. Bars available for a drink. Evening view of the ocean is awesome from old dutch hospital. Colonial architecture. It is one of the historical place in the galle fort. Great sea food restaurants. Parking available for vehicles. Cool place to chill with friends and to enjoy meals with loved ones ♥️🔥 Must visit place in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Washrooms available for any guy visit Galle Dutch Fort. A minute by tuktuk, gin and tonic, MOI, ocean bistro, Tap house and the tune & the crab are one of the famous restaurants there.

It's not actually a hospital. There are some shopping outlets and vine shops there, as well as cafes and restaurants.

Nice location, exists in the left hand side of the old Dutch fort, Galle, Sri Lanka. There are good restaurants inside here for people to dine in. Can have a delicious meal while enjoying the scenarios of the Indian Ocean, Roomassala Hill and Galle harbour
