I have been a guest at Dwarika''s Hotel in Kathmandu many times since circa 2017. Its high rating is not an overstatement in any way. I lived in Kathmandu for several years and Dwarika's became my "home away from home." Many reviews comment on the outstanding food and beverages, the unique and historically important architecture, and the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations. But I would focus on the unique kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff, and among those I would cite Mr. Pramesh Raj Devkota, who was been a stand-out for me every time I have visited Dwarika's. During my time living in Kathmandu, he personally arranged and managed a multitude of events--both personal and professional--sometimes involving complex menus and large numbers of people. He excelled at everything. And any guests I had were always extremely impressed. One of Mr. Devkota's great strengths is his ability to really see his clients and to cater to their needs and preferences. During subsequent trips to Kathmandu, I always have found him at the ready--always remembering me and what makes me happy--and so uniquely kind. I have introduced many friends and colleagues with plans to visit Kathmandu to Mr. Devkota, and he was admired by all of them. Dwarika's is very lucky to have such a dedicated professional as part of the staff.
