The Eatery Wood Fired Grill

Small but cute. The food is a bit on the pricy side so I just ordered a started, but the wings were tasty. It has an intimate vibe but also very child friendly.

Wow! The worst restaurant food I can remember having in years! Ordered ribs, should have known when they arrived in two minutes, they tasted and looked like they were cooked in a microwave. Zero evidence of any ”wood fired grilling” and they were cold. Really really terrible. Wow still in shock.

This was a lovely restaurant experience. We half didn’t expect the play area to be there because it looks like a very “grown up” restaurant from the front. The play area itself is a bit small but it’s enough to keep little kids entertained. They also provided our kids with some colouring pages which was great. The only down side would be that the kids can get quite rowdy and the big kids tend to be quite mean towards the younger ones. There is a board stating children need to be supervised at all times however, so that might be a failing on our part as parents. The tables are however close enough to see the play area. The food was delightful. We had small meals which were quite satisfying. Our drinks were good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall a lovely dining experience.

Went for a breakfast at this establishment.Firstly we ordered iced coffee it was literally made with just coffee and milk no extra effort made at all costing R42 End up cancelling the order and just getting a Lipton ice tea Thereafter we ordered breakfast 1 bacon and egg roll and one classic. I could have made a better breakfast at home . No effort whatsoever no garnish not presented well it’s just not a place to have breakfast at all The place was empty when we got there around 9am so that should have been a hint .gave the place the benefit of the doubt due to its atmosphere and friendly staff but a 1/10 for everything else. Will not go back !!!!

The Eatery has served as a reliable restaurant for hosting meetups and birthday events for years on end! With a lively vibe, beer and food specials as well as food challenges, this joint is the perfect place for all sorts relaxed but tasteful experiences. The have an amazing Tuesday special consisting of a burger, chips and drink (beer or milkshake for 2 for R222.

From ordering for delivery to sitting down, I have no complaints! We were served by Nicole who was exceptionally bubbly and was so attentive. The kiddies area was a hit and the food and margaritas were so good, we will definitely be back!

The Eatery in Rondebosch is great place for families, kids and business lunch. Staff is very friendly and I have to say that they have great choice of food and good draft beer. I had Loaded steak bowl and I definitely recommend. Also, we ordered poppers, wings and tacos...just perfect size for appetizers. Enjoy.

Sent a discreet email to the restaurant. Not so much as the courteousy of a reply.Took.my daughter's to lunch there. We agreed the burgers ordered were bland, given the price we paid. The other didn't enjoy the Avo on bread.Service was good but overall experience won't take me back there.
