The Eddy Hotel Tucson, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Wow. A very pleasant surprise. Just stayed there for one night but we would not hesitate for a moment to come back again - in fact we look forward to it. Extremely well maintained, excellent pool area and spa and friendly staff. Located in a nice area and away from street noise. Our only disappointment was hearing that the Eddy is not a chain where we could visit in other trips, but if other Hilton Tapestry Collection hotels are as good as this then we might start staying with Hiltons again

My fiancé and I booked a king room for the weekend, and when we got there we realized my fiancé (the silly goose that he is) had accidentally booked out room for the completely wrong date! The gentleman at the front desk, Derek, was incredibly kind and helpful about the whole thing! He got us a king room for an excellent rate compared to what we had paid online! He was super patient and accommodating, and we cannot wait to come back again!! Go Derek!!

The hotel is nice and modern, the staff is friendly, but overall I would not recommend to travelers who seek some flexibility and autonomy. Both the rooms and common areas are not intended to bring your own food, as the former lack any kind of table and the latter promote the onsite bar / restaurant. Breakfast service is expensive for what it is, and unclear what to expect when you buy the package. Overall, I would welcome more friendly / flexible approach to let travelers tailor their experience with no "hidden" surprises.

This hotel is amazing and in a premier location to everything to eat and have fun. Foremost, we would like to thank Susie and Roberto for the amazing time at The Eddy. They both were amazing. We witnessed Roberto going out to the pool to ensure everyone was having a great time and ensure their safety. Susie on the other hand, was very interactive with us at the bar, and shared same like experiences with us. She provided awesome restaurant recommendations and made us feel comfortable and at home. We are returning customers and have not met these two superior individuals before. You definitely have great assets in your company with Susie and Roberto.

Great rooms ! Great location! Friendly staff. Some may say a little too friendly. The bartender was overly nice and later asked for my husbands number when he went to the lobby alone to pick up an order. Overall great experience up until our last night. We stayed a few days & no complaints up until that incident. (:

Great hotel with some breathtaking views. Room was clean as a whistle and spacious. The bathroom, specifically, struck me. Spacious and practical! Maybe the best hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Didn't get to use the pool, just because of time constraints, but it looked awesome. Restaurant and bar was hopping every night. Will be back!

I usually love this hotel. Nit this stay. The heater was not working. Room was 67*. I asked the front desk attendant (two different individuals). When we returned from dinner we were told everything was fine. It wasn’t the room was at 66*. We decided to go to bed as it was late. It was 64* when we woke up. I advised the front desk in the morning of the issue. ||Complete indifference. ||I sometimes wonder if staff think these hotels simply run themselves and patrons are all people with uncritical and indiscriminat needs.

Josh and the entire team could not have been MORE welcoming! When you arrive for check in everything is ready including special requests. The food service is amazing and the entrees are fresh and savory. Rooms are well appointed and clean, like new. Pool and spa/ jacuzzi were heated to enjoy despite the cold climate outdoor. There are even parlor games in the lobby such as chess and table shuffleboard.

I love this hotel! This is by far the best Hilton hotel that I have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious and offer ample natural light. The room also has a large bathroom with a walk in shower and an area to hang your clothes. The room also includes a refrigerator and a Keurig. I do wish that it included a microwave. When booking this hotel, I noticed that the room description mentioned luxury linens. I'm not sure what that exactly means, but the bed was very comfortable. I stayed at this location for four nights. During my stay, I felt safe, which is important when traveling by yourself. The hotel only has two levels. I will say that I did not hear the occupants of the rooms next to mine. I heard a door close now and again, but overall it was a quiet environment. The staff is friendly as well. I needed to extend my stay by one night and the front desk attendant assisted me in a quick and friendly manner. I plan to stay here the next time that I visit Tucson.

Very nice, fairly new hotel in a nice area of town. I picked a room in the rear part of the hotel. The room was quiet. Big TV. Real comfy beds. Modern furnishings. Nice bath room. The lounge has plenty of seating. There is a nice pool and seating area all around the pool area. They have nice fire places and heaters for those cool nights. The whole place was very nice and inviting. The staff was pleasent and courteous. I did the breakfast which was wonderful. My drive to work in the am was fire pleasent. Through the hills and a strange neighborhood. Strange but very nice. I really enjoyed that drive. You'll understand what I mean when you come here. I will be staying here again when I come to Tucson. So should you.

This was a very disappointing stay. The shower leaks water all over the place. We adjusted the shower head towards the wall. However, the problems is with the way the water pools on the edge of the shower getting in. The towel mat was constantly wet. It was annoying. Our room was not cleaned well. There were tiny black hairs on the bathroom counter. The bathroom floor did not look like it had been mopped. It was gross. I bring my cleaning wipes so I wiped the counter down and did the floor. The room next to us ordered room service and when we left in the morning the tray was outside the door. We returned late that night and the tray was still there. It was there all day. The staff is friendly and the aesthetics in the lobby are nice. That is it. We will not stay here again or recommend this place.

My friends and I were enjoying brunch and decided to come and try the bar "Pin and Flower" over inside of The Eddy. This new hotel is just north of River on Campbell. The service was amazing. Ask for the bartender Jon. He was kind and helpful. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE DEATH STAR ICE CUBES THOUGH!? The atmosphere in here really cute, open concept with the cute kittle Edison lights. The modern wooden exposure has lights thats giving not pretentious but you're going to love it here. The pool overlooks the bar. We didn't get food or stay in the hotel but the place was cute enough to hang. Hence yeah so yeah so the more the comics do the rat in the room listen listen did you get your story short and like if Wednesday come out and if you wanna go on for two minutes and just tell her story I'll let you go on I'm hosting think about it.

The Eddy is a wonderful hotel. It's new and modern with excellent customer service. The rooms are comfortable and very clean with crisp linens. The pool area has upgraded nice furniture and is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon. The restaurant is very good and servers are friendly and welcoming. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Eddy. It's a newer property with the Pin and Flour restaurant in the lobby. Our room was clean and modern with wonderful, well lit bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff was friendly and happy to offer area restaurant recommendations, of which there are plenty in the immediate area. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property and room were very clean. The location is great, near great restaurants. The staff was great as well.

The location was the best thing going for this hotel. The rooms were small and uncomfortable with an L shaped seating area right next to the bed. The tv was streaming only and buffered constantly. The hotel seemed cold and unwelcoming, and the staff the same. The signature drinks did not appeal to us and bartender was unfriendly. As Hilton Honor's members, we were disappointed.

This is what I had hoped for in a hotel for a quick trip passing through AZ. The hotel is about 6 months old. They seem to still be hiring people. Check in was easy. The room had an easy layout for a King bed. There was a fridge and a K-cup machine. Because it's new there was carpet nails that didn't get hammered down all the way and I cut my foot on one . A hurt and bleeding foot before the gym was not fun. I put quarters down where they got me. I went to the front desk and spoke to the gm Marie and the FM John. They seemed genuine in addressing the issue and immediately fixed the nails. I had to slug away in the gym with the pain. The gym needs improvement, but it got the job done. I'm sure they'll get more equipment or decide to use cold towels. I wanted to lay out at the pool and the young guy at the front desk asked if I needed help with my foot. He got me a bag of ice for my foot and said the GM wanted to talk to me . I told him I'd be at the pool . I was at the pool for 5 hours , no GM convo. I specifically said to the FM please don't comp my room I didn't want anything free and joking said maybe a quesadilla would be nice . But yeah they left my bleeding foot at that . The pool area was so clean.

Best hotel in Tucson. Loved it so much that I decided to extend twice. It just opened a couple months ago, so it is very clean, but they also have their act together. Staff is very accommodating and friendly and strive to make your stay enjoyable. Located near the Catalina Foothills just minutes away from the upscale La Encantada shopping mall, you will not have to drive far for fine dining, shopping, and entertainment. It's a smaller boutique hotel that gives you personalized attention yet provides the amenities of a larger hotel. After a few days, they greeted me by name. They have a nice pool with floating lounge chairs which I have never seen anywhere else along with a poolside bar where you can get drinks and order food from a surprisingly ample menu. The bar also extends inside so you can enjoy your food in the air conditioned lounge where you can watch sports on the large TVs. I pass through here twice a year and I will make a point of it to stay here every time. And probably extend my stay if time permits.

Great bar with a good vibe. My ask is a TV that could be viewed from the outside bar. There are 4 tvs and they can't be viewed from the inside bar, must go to one of the high tops. Please fix this. Good sporting events on, but I can't view it. John the bartender is outstanding. Great attitude and a good conversationalist. Highly recommend the Eddy.

Beautiful new hotel with excellent staff. The hotel staff was outstanding in helping me with an issue. And the hotel bar and restaurant has incredible food and friendly bartenders. On the downside, the gym has very limited equipment and is lackluster. Looks like they have room to squeeze in at least one more Nautilus machine. Location isn't great: a long walk to St. Phillips, the Riverwalk and restaurants.

I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment with the recent experience I had as a guest at The Eddy, a property under the Hilton umbrella. My stay, which was meant to be a somber visit to be with my grandmother in end-stage hospice, was marred by a series of unfortunate incidents that highlight serious deficiencies in the hotel's management and customer service. The specific incident that prompted this review occurred on March 7, 2024, when I was abruptly informed via telephone by the day front desk agent, Axel, that I needed to vacate my room by 2:00 pm. This was in direct contradiction to the extension I had arranged with the night clerk, Derek, who had provided exceptional service on two consecutive nights. Despite explaining the situation, including my grandmother's delicate condition, the hotel's general manager, Marie Vizcarra, displayed a shocking lack of empathy and failed to offer any reasonable solution. As a Diamond member with over 100 hotel night stays at Hilton properties in the last calendar year, including several at The Eddy, I expected better treatment and understanding from the management.

Hotel is Brand New perfect location cool vibe. Definitely designed around people who are on vacation, as a business traveler I found breakfast took quite some time so if you're short on time, skip that. However the chefs were more than willing to accommodate a low-carb breakfast which I really appreciated. The fans in the bathroom run 24/7 if you ask them, they'll turn it off. Really nice bed linens and comfortable pillows for the price you can't beat it.

We stayed in this hotel from Apr 29 - Apr 30. This hotel since it opened has been our base hotel for our trips to Tucson, AZ. This experience has just taken this hotel and probably any other Hilton property of our list. We checked out on Apr 30 in the morning, but unfortunately forgot our valuables (which included passports, visas, a checkbook, and a white envelope containing $7,000 US in cash) in the in-room safe. About an hour later while on the road, when we noticed the forgotten items, we called our travel agent and asked him to notify the hotel that we were on our way to pick up our belongings that were forgotten. Our agent talked with the front desk clerk Marissa, who told him they'd be waiting for them. When we arrived, we asked for our belongings and they just opened a drawer and pulled one-by-one each item, asking if it was ours, even pulling items that didn't belong to us. After asking for the money, they just shrudded their shoulders and said those were all the belongings. We then asked for assistance from a manager and was "helped" by Josh, he was rude, wouldn't give us any information regarding the staff name, the time they went into the room and he was just condescending every step of the way. He self-introduced as the Hotel Manager, when in fact he was not. He asked to check our belognings, as if doubting our thruthfulness. Our travel agent talked to him as well and brushed him off. He was told by Josh that if they wanted any more information, he would only give it to the authorities. So we called the Pima County Sheriff Department, who promptly came and did the due dilligence in doing a search of the belongings of the person who supposedly went into the room and nothing came up. The Sheriff Deputy that came asked if we could search our things and, we did. Nothing came out of this search. We were given a case number and we left the hotel with a defeated feeling. It felt unfair to be treated this way and for the hotel not to take it seriously. While dealing with this issue on site, our travel agent contacted Hilton guest assistance for what it is named for "guest assistance". They took note and "escalated it to the highest Hilton management possible". The response from "the highest Hilton management" was just a response from the hotel General Manager, who wasn't Josh, whose name is Marrie Vizcarra stating that there was a police report and had searched the belongings of the person involved. No help whatsoever. Again, through our travel agent, we followed up with the GM Marie Vizcarra, who said was concerned and told that Marissa had gone into the room in order to be ready for us to arrive, and to help us just close this case with us would send him the logs of who entered the room, which she didn't send. This issue again, is so frustrating and we felt so vulnerable that we can't even recommend at all staying here.

Great hotel for a short stay for our family! Breakfast was wonderful! Would highly recommend!

First Time Stay before Grand Opening: Everything from the booking to checking in, to the property and the staff - everything and everyone is amazing!! They warned us there could be small glitches still being worked out before the Grand Opening and all was just great!! We thought the thermostat stopped working but turns out it's environmentally friendly and it recognizes when doors are left open or people have left the room - huge plus in my book. The food was delicious and the portions are normal instead of tiny portions like other hotel restaurants! The views of the property are gorgeous! See photo from our balcony. Will definitely be returning!

My sister and I stayed here as getaway. It was exactly the relaxing ambiance that we needed and wanted! I would love to leave a 5 star review but my only issue was the thermostat, it's energy saving so if it doesn't sense movement in the room then the AC turns off. We were out shopping for a while and when we got back in our room it was over 87 degrees. Doesn't make sense during summer time in Arizona. I truly did enjoy everything else about our stay, even the service.

Nice place to stay while on vacation, rooms are not business friendly. We were desperate to find a hotel as the other Hilton property was under construction. The Eddy had rooms and was close so we gave it a try. The room was average size. We got a King room w/o the balcony (last minute - none available). The rooms look just like the pictures. The storage and surface area in the room was odd. It had a small sofa with a sofa side table big enough for a laptop. There was a coffee machine on a small cabinet with a fridge. There was no other horizontal solid spaces in the room - no place to work. The bathroom was really big, even the shower was really big. There was a ledge in the shower for all our toiletries. The bathroom counter was huge. The towels were new/white, but the scratchiest towels I have ever experienced in my life. I'd rather use 24 grit sandpaper than their towels. There was plenty of parking, pool area and outdoor sitting area with the fire pits was nice. The bar and restaurant area is warm and inviting. The drinks are good but the food is slow and mediocre.

We had a one night stay. our room was $300. We bathed our daughter, and as we were getting ready for bed let her roam the room. Within an hour her feet were BLACK with filth. the floors are not properly clean. our balcony door would not open and they wouldn't come to help. the soap dispensers were empty. won't go back.

A lovely place to stay with a great heated pool. John the bartender is a fun guy. Thanks Maria for clean and tidy rooms. The shower and bathrooms are very well done. Quiet and clean. The food at the restaurant is delicious. We hope to visit again thanks for a great stay.

Great hotel! Everything was clean and things went smoothly with a view! Definitely added this place as my goto when visiting Tucson!

Found this gem by accident and am so happy we got the last available room with 2 beds. brand new 2 story boutique Hilton hotel. we enjoyed the bar and the fire pits around the pool. the food was terrific. we ordered nachos and southwest salad both were delicious. i also finally tried Casamigos Repasado tequila and it was very tasty. i highly recommend staying here as its located on the scenic route and close to many great Tucson attractions.

This was my second time staying at The Eddy! Beautiful new property with modern material finishes and great amenities. However, the doors to the rooms are incredibly loud when they close. You can hear echoes down the hall from every room in the area. It gets quite loud and very distracting. They need to adjust the doors for a more peaceful & restful stay as it can awaken guests throughout the night.

We really enjoyed the Eddy. Small, quaint and new. Only issue was bed a little firmer than we like.

Horrible service, food was slow to come out, table of 5 who were there before us, waited much longer than us and order was wrong.

Checked out the bar for happy hour. The food is bland and completely underwhelming, the bartender seemed to be overwhelmed with 6 customers but still had the bandwidth for snaky unhelpful approach. The ascetic is somewhere between a Ike and a mall food court. They advertise 8.00 well drinks...but order a martini and the price is doubled. The food took forever, assumed the bartender forgot to put in the order. Honestly: hard pass.

Had a couple of friends stayed there over last weekend from outer town, the hotel Is in the middle of a very historic neighborhood with with the Desert around you. However with that being said, you get all the actual desert creatures coming towards the Hotel.though, Coyotes, Wild pigs, Rabbits, Quail, and also Rattle snakes. When they got back to the room there was a scorpion waiting on the floor by the bed, They need a pest control company to keep these creatures at bay.

Absolutely beautiful place but the customer service was terrible. The young man in the front was THE rudest! I wish I would have gotten his name ! I woke up with itchy spots on my body. I was definitely bitten by something. I wasn't going to make it a big deal about it until I spoke to this man. I called just to inform them so they could check and fix the issue. The guy in the front hung up on me the first time. I had asked for a manager right away and he kept saying "what's the issue". I told him I needed to speak to someone and he hung up on me. I called again and told him I'd keep calling so he finally took me a little serious. I'm not shaming the hotel but that man should definitely not be working in hospitality! After 10 minutes on hold he hung up again! There was also a cockroach in my room but it was very small so I didn't bother to tell them. Maybe I'm to nice by only writing a review but this is not a good look for such a high end looking hotel!

For a new hotel, they have a ways to go in the comfort department. The room was cold when it should have been warm. It was impossible to change the thermostat to get it warm. The room was 67° when it was 40° outside. Needed heat. Supposedly they fixed the system in the afternoon. But that night we had the same problem. Never did get it straightened out.

I am here for the weekend to visit some family and decided to stay at the Eddy hotel. What a great choice! I do love this hotel. It has everything you need. It's sparkling clean and the employees are fantastic. I'd like to shout out to some special ones that have really impacted my visit in a positive way. Julian, working in the bar and restaurant area is a professional, extremely nice and helpful. I met Jeremy by the pool and he was extremely helpful to me. Couldn't have been any kinder! They give me the feeling that they want me to have a really nice experience in this Tucson heat!

I'm disappointed with my stay. The location of this hotel is wonderful and everything is new. The open concept of the restaurant is great and the gym was the highlight for me. Unfortunately, the room was just not up to Hilton standards (I'm an Honors Rewards Member). When I arrived at check in time, the room I had preselected was not ready, so I was placed in a comparable room. No problem. Except when I walked in, I could see that cleaning was really overlooked. All the mirrors in the room had not been wiped clean and when I took a shower, it was obvious that the shower floor had not been cleaned, as there were large particles, hair, and dirt in the corners. The bed was so sloppily made that I was honestly really surprised. There was no fitted sheet on the bed-just a regular top sheet that was being used as a fitted sheet. The issue was that it didn't fit the mattress, so when I tucked in for the night, my feet weee on the bare mattress, which was not properly covered by the sheet haphazardly covering the mattress. I tried unsuccessfully to make the bed and eventually gave up. I didn't sleep well that night as a result. When I checked out, I was hoping to share an honest review. However, the attendant who checked me out never asked me how things were or if I had enjoyed my stay. He simply took my keys and told me I was all set to go. I really wanted to make this my go-to hotel as I travel to Tucson frequently for work. I'm not sure I'll be able to do that.

Be careful when reserving rooms at this hotel - booked a room for my wife which was to include breakfast - in the morning, front desk (young man) told her it did not include breakfast; when I called back later in day to ask for the difference to be refunded (room rate was $339 for one night to include breakfast) the person at front desk (Derrick) would not listen to or address the concern - when I asked if there was a manager I could speak to he claimed there were no managers on duty and he was in charge ("I'm the only one here") - I scoffed at this thinking highly unlikely and got annoyed with him (as he mumbled along), when I told him I would mention his name to management when I called Monday he said he would put us on the 'Do Not Rent' list! Oh the fools they hire! Other than the lack of service there and foolish customer service, hotel was okay - bed was somewhat uncomfortable and pillows were worthless.

The guest is not important or a priority at all. Rooms and pool nice. No service in the restaurant or front desk. Had to wait around for a body to notice me.

This hotel is brand new. We stayed there for two nights in March 2023. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area and hot tub are very inviting. We will definitely stay there during future visits to Tucson.
