Great place to stay for a few days.
Every morning there is a lovely spread of ciabatta bread with a delicious topping which changed each morning, overnight oats, fresh cut up fruit and a muffin or breakfast bread, all very fresh. There is also coffee. In the afternoons a snack such as cookies, brownies or chocolate chip bread is offered. There is also a tap to choose still, fizzy or ambient water and in each room are glass bottles you can use if you don't have your own.
Also available for guests are beach chairs and towels.
There is a quaint seating area in a courtyard, with several tables, chairs, couches and a fire pit that is lit nightly.
There are three rooms on the first floor, 4 or 5 on the second and at least one on the third. There is no elevator.
Room 5 is a great spot, faces the street, which is quiet at night. There is a fridge and a safe and nice touches like a jewelry velvet drawer and bathrobes. The AC worked well, but it would be nice to have a ceiling fan.
There is parking in the back. There are 3 or 4 first come first serve spots which are free. There are a dozen others (can get tight if all full), which can be reserved for $50 a night. After Labor Day the lot was pretty empty so there was not a need to pay the extra to get a spot.
Room 5 overlooks the fire pit section and can get loud if folks are enjoying lively conversation. That room is also smaller than 5.
Mariella, who I believe is the manager, is very pleasant and attentive and all the staff we encountered were friendly.
Even when it rained, the porch in front was comfy to use. 4 rocking chairs on one side, and lots of couch seating on the other.
