The Edge Restaurant

The Edge in Spencerport is doing something unique. Gourmet, fresh and often local take out food without the hassle of dressing up or going out. They change the specials menu weekly and they have a regular menu for breakfast and dinner for those with more basic tastes. The portions are large, the staff is friendly and you can always find something delicious. Friday nights they also do a Fish Fry. The restaurant is take out only and they prefer call ahead. They make everything fresh and ready for the time you select or you can order at the window but dress for the elements. They also sell out of specials most nights so be sure to order early! Enjoy!

Had lunch today at The Edge Restaurant in Spencerport. Both the service and food were great. This is a takeout only place. They do have picnic tables outside to use on nice days. I had their version of the Rochester garbage plate which was great. Home made home fries and Mac salad. My friend had an awesome looking Rueben with fries. This place is owned and operated by a husband and wife team and from what I’ve experienced they are killing it. Do yourself a favor and stop out for a meal.

In my opinion, they have the best fish fry in Rochester, so happy we have this out in Gates. I have been going to the Edge for months now and this review is LONG overdue. My biggest problem every time we decide to order is do I get the old faithful fish fry or try something new from their weekly specials, but every time we try something new we are never disappointed. My brother tried their garbage plate and it's his new favorite plate. The supreme pizza logs are unique and delicious. My girlfriends favorite special so far is the chicken alfredo, while my favorite is their new England clam chowder it's the perfect consistency and they use real clams, it's a little pricey for soup but worth it every time. I can't say enough good things, if you haven't tried it yet, go. My only gripe is that I wish they were open just a little later on Friday/Saturday because some weeks I eat later and forget by 7pm that they are closed.

Absolutely phenomenal! The fact that it’s takeout-only makes it super convenient, but the quality of the fresh food you get is unmatched. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared — nothing else around compares. Great people, fantastic food, highly recommend!

Honestly I can’t say enough great thins about this spot. Best fish fry in town but everything they make is above and beyond. Yes it’s take out only, but that’s also the beauty of it so if you want a great meal give these guys a call!

Hidden behind the ice cream place, I never knew this place even existed until I looked up breakfast spots. I got the breakfast Sammie, it's huge and the price was so cheap for the size! I posted a picture of how big it is, with it half eaten already. Definitely coming back to try lunch! (There is no indoor seating, you order and pickup at the window, but there are benches outside you can sit at-they give you a little beeper to tell you when your food is ready)

Delicious food and very convenient, especially when I call ahead to order. Owners are amazing, friendly, hard workers that provide wonderful food options and new specials every week. All the dinners and salads Ive had were yummy! I like the chorizo breakfast bowl and breakfast sandwiches too!
