The Editory House Ribeira Porto Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here recently. Location is excellent and my room was lovely. Very clean and great bathroom. Staff very really helpful and friendly. Really appreciate the water every day. Breakfast was great too, though the hot food was never hot. The complimentary port and pastel de nata first day was such a lovely surprise. Highly recommend. Also quiet (I had internal room).

Splurged a little on the penthouse and it was worth every penny. Lovely room in a great location to the river and shopping and amazing restaurants. It’s a busy city location but we didn’t find the street noise (mostly honks and sirens) bothersome. Staff went above and beyond with recommendations and help navigating the Metro and arranging a taxi for a very early flight. Didn’t have breakfast but it looked varied and delicious. Would stay here again in a minute.

Minutes from the river front the Editory hotel in Ribeira is well located to explore the beautiful.citu of Porto. A short walk will get you to most things you want to.cover in Porto. The lift although tiny was of great help and the front staff took time to help us navigate to most of the places. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and toilets decent.

Great place! Great location! Several minutes walk to the river front as well as the bridge to take dramatic photos and also to explore the other side. Several excellent restaurants within walking distance. A great mom and pop place for coffee and pastries around the corner or another coffee place called Castros a little further down. Incredibly friendly staff with great recommendations. Beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms.| Did I mention the great location? |Highly recommended!

We loved the central location, perfect for the riverside cafe life. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was very comfortable and friendly. A bit of noise but that's to be expected in a busy city centre area.

Great stay in a friendly hotel. Location was perfect for getting around. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Rooms were a generous size. Room was cool but they provided us with a heater. Breakfast included a good selection of delicious eats.|Would definitely recommend.

A useful place to stay in Porto. Near to the river and the old town, with a taxi rank right outside ( to go quickly up the steep hills to visit places!). A friendly welcome from the very helpful staff with a clean, smaller room. We had a room on the inside with no view but quiet at night (rooms over the taxi rank can be noisy) .

We just finished a three-day stay at the Editory House in Porto, and I was thoroughly impressed. The location is excellent, with the riverfront just steps away. Every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. The hotel itself is modern on the inside and very thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. It’s clear that a LOT of thought went into to the design and decor. Our room was on the small side, but was so carefully designed that everything just worked and it seemed bigger than it was. Our room faced an inner courtyard so that we had outside light but we were shielded from street noise. Some rooms do face the street, those may be noisier though I should add that the windows are solid and seal well. The only negative (and this feels like a nitpick) is that the refrigerator in our room was tucked into a cabinet with no ventilation, so it didn’t cool effectively. I propped open the cabinet door and the fridge worked much better that way.
