Not enough stars for this amazing little gem! We loved our meal at the Elephant!! Our food was both beautiful and delicious beyond expectation. This is a vegetarian restaurant with no meat on the menu. Even if you normally order meat, this restaurant is worth trying, the food is excellent! The service was kind, welcoming and prompt. We had no language issues, the menu had English descriptions and we ordered in English but did our best to thank them in Bahasa. The meal was one of our more expensive meals in Indonesia but it was by far the best, worth every penny! The view was a simply stunning showing of the jungle in the area, while the restaurant was clean and decorated in Balinese style. We're so glad we stopped here for dinner! Stop in and try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Im in live with the place. Perfect location, far from the noise and traffic of ubud center but close enough to spend hours to reach home if you’re living in ubud center. The view is breathtaking. The service is amazing, the employees are kind, polite, funny, nice….. the food is very tasty. The menu looks Italian but the owner is Australian. It’s one of my favorite places. I definitely recommend it. Peaceful

We fully enjoyed our dining experience at The Elephant. It was our first night in Ubud and we’d already enjoyed a big lunch, so we probably didn’t do justice to the menu, which looked fantastic. We enjoyed a cocktail, a delicious dip platter and some spring rolls as the sun went down. Great views, relaxing Balinese style setting and excellent service. I wouldn’t hesitate returning. Thanks for a great night!

Amazing meal at The Elephant last night….why can’t vegetarian food always taste as excellent as this 🤔😍. The Golden Dragon smoothie tasted every bit as good as it looked, Asian sharing platter, Vietnamese Pancakes, sweet potato fries with honey and mustard mayo, followed by sweet sticky rice and mango cheesecake were all DEVINE. We enjoyed every mouthful of food we had. Very accommodating and friendly service and reasonably priced …a million times better than the overpriced, over-hyped Zest restaurant down the road. We will be returning to the Elephant to try out the breakfast menu 🐘👍

Fantastic food - we had starters, main courses, smoothies and fancy coffee. All delicious! Loads of gluten free options too (several of the starters, main courses and 3 of the desserts were). Really beautiful restaurant with lovely mood lighting, and stunningly atmospheric during rainstorms as you can look out over the forest. I'd highly recommend going here if you're in Ubud - we had lunch here as we had planned to visit the Monkey Forest afterwards.

The best vegetarian restaurant even for non-vegetarians. They serve different variaties of food and you can enjoy nice ambient, pleasant service and extreemly nice view of rain forest and ridge walk accross.

If you’re vegan, go for the views, not for the food. I went for brunch and had avo toast and oat ice frape but they were quite underwhelming. Breakfast/brunch vegan options were limited. The avo toast and garlic mushrooms (which doesn’t sound like breakfast food to me) were the only savory vegan options and there were a couple sweet things too like oatmeal. The rest had eggs. I would have liked to try the vegan mango cheesecake though! The view is amazing though. You can skip the nature walk nearby if you go to this cafe.
