Eclectic vibe but absolutely passed the vibe check! The coffee was delicious (this coming from someone notoriously picky on the flavor/roast of the beans). The food was incredible, from the bagel sandwiches to the strawberry matcha cookie. Try the banana split latte before it disappears for the summer!!

Everything amazing! Definitely stop by if you are in the area. Got an espresso and pour over. Also lox sandwich and a kimchi one too. Bagel and blueberry lavender cream cheese are delicious. Cool vibe and staff are super friendly.

The vibes of this place are out of this world! I have a couple recommendations for what to order: The banana bread cold brew is one of my all time favorite coffee drinks, I also love the Ranch BLT Bagel Sandwich with an egg added, I would also recommend the green olive cream cheese on an asiago bagel. This shop is quirky and fun. There are so many pieces of art to look at!

Great house coffee drinks! Unique flavors and recipes, and really good bagel sandwiches as well. Everyone is very kind and knowledgeable. I had the ham bagel sandwich and the coconut lentil soup, both were very good, much better then Einstein bagels which is the only other bagel shop I know of in the area.

Prices here have gotten absolutely out of control, and out of touch with the community that it serves. While the prices here have historically already been quite high relative to other places, the contrast has now markedly intensified. As of this week, the establishment has considerably hiked the menu prices across the board anywhere upwards of at least 20-30%! Take for example the egg and cheese bagel. It used to be priced at $5, as of this week, it now costs $6.66 before tax—representing a 33.2% increase in price. Adding bacon used to be $2 upgrade—this means a bacon egg and cheese bagel used to cost $7. Now? This same bagel costs $8.50 before tax, representing a 22% increase in price. The food here is good, but not this kind of money good. Now, you may say, “well, maybe their costs went up and they’re passing them on”. For a business that has not only been charging elevated prices for a while, and has been established in the community for as long as they have, it is quite unimaginable to think that either their variable, or especially especially fixed costs, could suddenly increase by these margins. It is more likely that their margins are being slimmer, and that they want to keep their higher margins, or perhaps even expand their margins. Salaries, wages, and compensation in the community are certainly are not increasing by 20-30% overnight, and considering the community demographics, this seems like a poor business decision. Save yourself the hassle, and stand up for what can be argued is the more principled and noble route. That is, save yourself the money and hassle, make the same food at your own home for cheaper and at a better quality, and not give into a business that unless proven otherwise, seems to have greed and profits above all else

Google
My favourite creative cafe in the town! Omg, it’s so artsy haha a little weird artsy but wow, definitely one of the coolest cafés I’ve been to! I liked their Bagels and cold coffee! They also have some cool lunch menus every now and then! There’s some nice outdoor sitting too!

The food is delicious. The drinks we had were yummy. The barista was polite and delightful to speak with. It was a perfect atmosphere for students to study in and there were several doing so.

Yelp
WOW. I have not been this excited to write a review for a coffee place in a long time! Everything was outstanding. Everything on the menu sounded so good it was hard to choose. I ended up going with a banana cold brew (amazing flavor) and a lox bagel on an everything bagel. This was unique as it had apple slices on it! It was outstanding! My friends ordered a goat cheese on a jalapeño bagel (blueberry, goat cheese, arugula) and we also had a spicy cortado along with an everything latte! Not one bad thing to say! The service is very quick and if I had to describe the vibes it would be modern grunge revival! I can't wait to come back. Just wish I lived a bit closer to Lafayette.

Yelp
This has quickly become my Sunday morning spot. The lavender latte with oat milk is the most delicious latte in the whole city. I love sitting on the patio when the weather is nice and reading with my coffee in hand. Eleventh House offers unique coffee drinks and bagels. I highly recommend if you're in the Lafayette area close to downtown!

Yelp
Finally the new downtown spot is open instead of the bar that traded church for the stars and cards, mom and the grandparents won't be cringed out now! I do miss the easy parking lot, outdoor patio, and larger seating room but the entire atmosphere is now brighter, more inviting, and music has been balanced to enhance the excellent food and drinks. They had a short stall during opening weeks without food but the full menu and more is in play now! All the drinks and house crafted lattes are pure goodness, testimony to the virtues of house made syrups, high quality Tinker roasted beans, and well mixed lattes. I enjoy just everything from the main menu to seasonal and weekly creations. There's plenty to treat the high class black brew earl as well as those like me needing coffee as unlike coffee as possible. The recent Yule espresso egg nog was sublime. Another recent best has been the Mexican mocha, a rich and spicy winter win. Bagels continue to be excellent just like the previous three years, plenty of options and something just about for everyone, gluten and vegetarian, but am missing that soup, maybe the amazing Hungarian Mushroom can be imported from Black Sparrow please? Only issues I've noticed is no rewards program, no mobile order options even though they used to use the Joe App which was fantastic to get third party benefits and easy ordering, however all small potatoes considering The Eleventh House keeps on as my top local list. My other snobby java jesters agree as well, even one working at the overpriced Greyhouse, that the best drip is made here.

Yelp
A coffee shop by day and a bar by night, the Eleventh House is a comfy place to get a coffee and some nice bagels. Keep in mind this review is a little old and from this summer. I was a little thrown off when I first arrived since I wasn't sure whether I was in the right place, but with a quick look around and some reassurance from the staff, I placed my order. I got a banana bread cold brew and classic lox bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. Banana Bread Cold Brew: Good, but I had trouble finishing it. It's one of those drinks that gets worse over time. Classic Lox Bagel Sandwich: Really good and made the trip worth it. The bagel was of good quality and they didn't skimp on any of the toppings. It also came with a side of citrus slices (grapefruit and orange) which I loved.

Yelp
I cannot express how much I LOVE this place. Been coming here for 4 years now and it's definitely my favorite local business in Lafayette. The coffee is ALWAYS made made with quality in mind and I have never been disappointed by the house lattes. You are paying for quality: in house syrups, locally sources ingredients/suppliers, and baristas that never compromise flavors and aesthetics. (All my photos are years apart) The atmosphere is very quirky and unique only to the owner and employees of the cafe. They also sometimes host or support local artists by displaying and selling their art, hosting art festivals at the beginning of every season, and raising funds for local charities. Finally, this place wouldn't be the amazing place it is without the owner and employees. They are all kind, funny, and make you feel welcome. They care about their crafts and are more than happy to help new comers find a drink or dish that is best suited for them. I love this place and am constantly there

Yelp
Eleventh House has the best bagels in town and great coffee. I also like the interesting seasonal lattes such as sweet potato in November

Yelp
one of the coolest cafes i've been to. eleventh house is a huge coffee shop located in a dive bar. they have a unique variety of delicious lattes and cortados. i would HIGHLY recommend the cortado made with rose water and vanilla. the lox bagel is also delicious. it is made with cream cheese, cucumber, pickled onion, capers, and lox, which you can sub for avocado (highly recommend). all bagels are also served with a choice of fresh oranges/grapefruit or spicy potato chips. the service here was quick and friendly. the girl that took our order was extremely patient as we took some time to decide what to order. apparently they also serve pizza and turn into a bar at night? i will definitely check that out next time i'm in town!!

Yelp
Lovely place for some coffee and breakfast! Their breakfast sandwiches are made to order and very fresh. Also a great place to study close to campus.

Yelp
We stopped for coffee on our way out of town one morning. I got an iced mocha and my husband got a ginger cayenne latte. Oat milk was available which we were happy about. Both of our drinks were excellent. I enjoyed that my ifed drink was "shaken" like a cocktail. What a perfect way to make sure the chocolate is well mixed. Would definitely stop in again. Turns out that they use Tinker coffee beans which we were already huge fans of. The building is not marked as Eleventh House but the coffee shop is tucked inside of The Spot Tavern so don't miss it! We also visited Smitty bread next door

Yelp
Dreaming of the iced Chinese Five-Spice Latte with oat milk! I came here on a whim and am so glad I stopped by. The staff had some stellar recommendations and I was so happy with my purchase!

Yelp
Wife & I were in NYC for Memorial day weekend ... I came back with this HUGE craving for bagels with lox and chive cream cheese just like you get in Penn or Grand Central. if you've ever lived in The City you MUST go here ... It's like seriously +authentic+.

Dan S.

Yelp
Great place! We each had different bagel sandwiches and they were all excellent as were all of the espresso drinks. This will be our new rest stop when passing through Lafayette. It looks like a sketchy bar when walk in so be brave and go in.

Yelp
Loved this place. Cut and weird at the same time. The coffee hit the spot. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Unique offerings and quality drinks and bagels. I always try something different, and I'm never disappointed. Don't be confused by the fact that it's located in a bar. Best patio space in town, super chill!

Yelp
I wish I could take a snapshot of flavors because I guarantee you haven't had lattes like these but I'm in a poetic mood so let me try to capture their essences -- actual flavors in parentheses. *"best is yet to come" (orange marmalade+clove) is like a sunrise but the kind that makes you want to jog around a small downtown and take random pics. *"las vegas past" (rose+pistachio) will make you question why you havent written songs for an irish indie band. *"good karma" (chinese 5 spice+mocha) conjures images of sitting down and reading the whole Harry Potter Series in french (and understanding it). In short I love everything I've had here and can't pick a favorite because moods often dictate my drinks. Check their menu on their website. The food is also always super fresh and has great textures. The number of indoor and outdoor seating options is excellent because it's also in the Spot Tavern.

Yelp
A great addition to Lafayette with their outdoor, colorful work space and house made syrup lattes (Tinker Coffee). The bagels are fresh and the spreads are yummy, but don't take my word for it, head there ASAP

Yelp
What a great Surprise! We stayed at an air bnb around the corner and wanted real coffee not a Kcup or foldgers. Found this place and the menu looked perfect. Within walking distance and great ratings. We walked in and out because I thought it was a bar and we went to wrong spot. To our surprise it was the right spot. One side of sign said The spot the other side had right name. My sister and I laughed because I said wow this bar jumping early in the morning walked back in because it was the right location and someone said this is the coffee shop, everything is good. We decided to order bagel sandwiches and the coconut curry lentil soup as well and OMG. Delicious I also had The lox on jalapeño cheddar bagel with the lavender lemonade (better combo instead of coffee) sister had the good karma with oat milk (order one to go also) forgot what bagel she order. Oh had a Asiago bagel with onion chive cc to go. Sat inside instead of going back to the house, great atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Would definitely stop back if in Indiana again. By the way visiting from New Jersey and sister lives in Arizona. Never got coffee ‍ other items on menu over took it. Again very pleased The good karma was great for the coffee fix.

Yelp
I had their creamsicle cold brew and my mind almost exploded with joy! I love this place!! Great breakfast, great music, beautiful patio area.

Yelp
Punk rock country club vibes, with over priced drinks and food.

Yelp
Great food and study space, just difficult to find an outlet that works! Would recommend.

Yelp
It's no joke when I say I come in every day that I am available. Gianna, Thomas, and all the other peeps are so welcoming!! My favorite order is an Oat milk cappuccino with lavender. All of their house lattes are amazing as well. You can't leave without a bagel sandwich either! I definitely recommend checking this place out!!

Erin H.

Yelp
Best flavored lattes I've ever had, best bagels in Lafayette by far, cannot go wrong!!
