The Embassy Sathon Hotel

We stayed at Embassy Sathorn Hotel for a few days and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Lumphini MRT station, with plenty of cafes and 7-Eleven stores nearby. The area is quiet but still close to everything in the city.The room was clean and spacious enough, with a comfortable bed and a small desk for work. Housekeeping was done regularly and thoroughly. We also appreciated the small gym, which had all the basic equipment we needed.The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. Check-in was smooth and fast.

The location is really convenient — just a short walk to Lumpini Park and public transport, so getting around Bangkok was easy. My room was simple but clean and comfortable. The price is good for what you get. Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, and the staff weren’t always very attentive, but overall I think it’s a solid choice for a short stay if you want to be close to the city center without spending too much.

Dates of Stay: July 20–23|Unfortunately, our experience here was deeply disappointing. The room had an unbearable smell, most likely due to a malfunctioning bathroom exhaust fan—the odor was strong and clearly coming from the bathroom.||On top of that, the pillows were extremely dirty (as shown in the attached photo), and the bedsheets didn’t feel fresh at all. While housekeeping did respond and changed them right away, the fact that we had to deal with this was unacceptable.||The Wi-Fi was consistently unstable and painfully slow throughout our 3-night stay. We raised the issue with the front desk, and were told there was an “internet interruption”—conveniently, it started on our check-in day and ended just as we were checking out. It felt almost intentional.||The gym was mediocre (2.5/5), and the breakfast was basic (3/5).|Value for money: 0/5.||With all these issues combined, we can confidently say we will not be returning.

The hotel itself was nice and clean, but what really made my stay special was the staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed — from directions to local tips. It really felt like they cared. I’d definitely come back just because of the people!

Terrible beds, terrible shower almost everything broken. Slow house keeping. Wasn't there for a night and next day afternoon 2PM room wasn't ready. No ashtray on balcony so I used a old bottle. The accused me that I smoked in the room. Which I didn't. 3 hotel staff came knocked on the door like during a police raid when I showered. Not only once 3 times, so the floor went wet and I twisted my knee. I got a serious inquiry to that luckily it was the last day. I will never book this hotel again. Breakfast.... Forget about it.

Hotel is in very good location. The breakfast had a good choice of Thai dishes which were full of flavour and varied every day. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The lady owner was very helpful and friendly. It is a 3 star hotel and what you get for the price is excellent, do not go expecting 4 or 5 star facilities. Would stay there again.

The worst hotel we have ever had. Dirty room and dark lights, noisy constantly. Shower head was not working, door can’t be opened from time to time. Running up and down! Don’t go!

Good low budget hotel. They offer a decent breakfast. Most of the people at the reception are Great and very helpful.
