The Embassy Valletta Hotel (Valletta, Malta) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In the eyes of the travel world, the capital of Malta has been transformed seemingly all at once from a well-preserved 16th-century city to something much more glamorous and, in places, more modern. Though it stands on the site of one of Valletta’s original 19th-century hotels, the Embassy is more a reincarnation than a renovation; its spaces, both public and private, pay tribute to tradition but are ultimately the very picture of contemporary boutique-style luxury hospitality." - Tablet Hotels

We had a grueling nearly 24 hour journey to get to Malta from Dallas after multiple weather related delays. We'd also arrived without our luggage since we had to run to catch our connection in Frankfurt. We were then dropped off a few blocks from the hotel (which is located in a pedestrian only area) without specific instructions on finding it and had to rely on our Google app to locate it. All that to say, we were quite frazzled by the time we got to the hotel and checked in. The front desk staff was extremely engaging and empathetic helping us get checked in and assuring us that they would alert us as soon as our bags arrived and if they did so overnight would not disturb us until morning since we were exhausted. They then provided us with the essentials for our overnight stay and made several suggestions for dinner that evening. |The room was quite warm when we arrived - Europe was experiencing a heatwave that week - as is standard in Europe everything is turned off in the room when it is unoccupied. It didn't take long to cool down and the room was very nice with a great view of the city a nice sitting area and sincerely one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on (which may or may not have been influenced by extreme exhaustion). The bathroom was great with a nice shower and toiletries. We were a bit concerned about the noise from the street and the chiming church bells, however the bells did stop in the evening and the street noise, minimal as it was, was overcome by a handy white noise generator and we slept peacefully and deeply. Breakfast the next morning at the rooftop lounge was delicious and made better by the terrific view and friendly staff. Fortunately our bags arrived promptly and were delivered to our room so we could get on with our vacation.||We only stayed 2 nights for this trip - would have loved to have stayed a week and cannot wait to go back. If you're looking for a lovely place to stay in historic Valletta walking distance to restaurants, shopping and historic sites - THIS is THE place to do it. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very nice hotel, clean, stylish & the staff were professional on our arrival and throughout. Situated in the heart of the city with brilliant views from the roof top overlooking the city. Pool is small but was enough to keep cool. Another great touch was another level above the pool just for bathing, you do have to walk through the restaurant to get access. The restaurant was inviting even better at night when it’s all lit and glowing! however at night can get very noisy from surrounding bars and restaurants till late. During the day it’s relaxing. Easy access to shops.

We didn't stay here, we live just around the corner, but came for afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was second to none: friendly, polite, efficient and personal. The food was delicious: tasty sandwiches; scones with jam and cream; and little cake/pastry delights. There was a choice of hot drink and alcoholic drinks were also available. It was very good value for money and we will be back!

A great design hotel with a restaurant and rooftop pool, offering fantastic panoramic views of Valletta. We were warmly welcomed by Luca, the excellent receptionist, who does a fantastic job. The Deluxe Room is comfortable and has comfortable beds. The only minor drawback is the lack of a power outlet in the bathroom, so we had to dry our hair in the hallway. Thank you, and we will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my stay here and it's one of the rare situations I would be glad to come back to a hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms very elegant, clean and quite. Breakfast tasty with local specialities. For a welcome guests received cookies and prosseco 👌The rooftop pool was awesome to relax at. The location was also great. And it felt safe. Everything I expect from a hotel. I would only improve a few things - slightly longer opening hours of the pool and maybe some discounts for the spa? Surely would bring even more satisfaction. Thank you for everything!

Nice hotel, centrally located however beware, gets very very loud with music from surrounding bars blaring until late. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Lucy on the rooftop. Lovely views from the rooftop and a pleasant area to chill. Pool area was nice albeit a bit small.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location is absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and clean and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant gives a great view for the tasty breakfast. Some reviews mention noise of an evening and while there were times we could hear the city outside it didn't bother us or go on very late at all. We will definitely come back to Malta and Valetta and will stay here again.

beautiful hotel in a very good location. clean, comfortable rooms (very well soundproofed) and friendly, helpful staff. Mr Łukasz from the reception is a real treasure. I recommend it to anyone who likes modern interiors, great stuff and great location. The hotel has a great Restaurant on the 7th floor (with a pool and amazing city view), but remember to Make a reservation in advance
