The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel

Excellent hotel, very high standard. Spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained rooms. A great variety of services. An outstanding staff that responds to every request and is always ready to help with anything needed. No pettiness whatsoever. We enjoyed every moment, the wonderful service, and the hotel's excellent facilities.||

I visited Chiang Mai 8 times, but it was my first time visiting this hotel. Above all, if you appreciate the active interest and response at the reception, especially PAUL. KAL. OHMY I will remember the gratitude of ohmy number 3. The welcome gift box made me feel the dignity of a special hotel. an appropriate amount a well-managed facility Kind steps are a good asset for hotels. I will next agine see you next PS: If there is a dinner or lunch buffet event at the hotel due to a big buyer's visit, I hope it will be promoted more.

I have stayed in over 40 hotels in the past 4 years and this is my favorite. The hotel is nearly full yet this is the quietest most peaceful hotel I have ever stayed in. When I checked in I went thru the TV channels and saw that there was neither Bloomberg or CNBC to help me with my stock trading. I asked the manager Miss Boom if she could possibly add one or the other. Within 3 days she had added them both. I have asked other hotels to add channels such as CNN and nobody seemed to be able or willing to do it (Marriott) This hotel has a perfect swimming pool for those that love to swim laps. It is about 30 meters long and about 1.5 m deep. This feels more like a home than a hotel. I could live at this hotel and I just might at least part of the year. The Mgr. Miss Boom is the best. She works tirelessly to please and take care of her guests.

Service was excellent! Staffs were nice and attentive. Room is quite old but clean. Bathroom is spacious and has big bathtub. There is a welcome gift when checking in (2 Evian bottles and some snacks) It’s a 15 mins walk to night bazaar market and it’s very easy to find local restaurants around. Definitely be back again!

You can tell that the hotel is old but it is very clean and it was a great place to stay. The rooms are very large and we received a welcome basket of snacks when we arrived. There are spas and a laundromat close by, and it's not a far walk to the wonderful Anusarn Night Market.

It depends on which room you get. The good reviews here seem to show a different part of the hotel than what we had. Our roon was dark and very tired. Kettle in room but no tea or coffee available even on request. The bathroom was very poor. The shower is over a very high bath which didn't drain even after 12 hours. Location good and breakfast ok. Welcome rose but no snacks provided in our time there unlike the reviews given here. The 1980s control panel for the room was worn out and the air con hit and miss regarding temperature.

I have stayed here for the last eight years. Both at the empress and the empress premier. Its like my home away from home. The staff are phenomenal . The rooms are spotless , the pool and gym are superior. I can only rave about this place. You walk in and everyone welcomes you with those thai smiles. I have never come across a grouchy person in all these years. We stayed for one month and plan on returning here for 2 months next year.|There-are too many people to mention here as everyone is so kind and thoughtful( i do adore thai people) but to name a few. Mon from the dining room at the premier, Boom at the front desk at the premier and paul , front desk at the Empress. But actually, everyone is wonderful!!!!

Our stay was amazing, it was my first time in The Empress Hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent customer service from Ta and all the staff. They provided complete information about activities and excursions.|Location is very good. I will go back there for sure.
