The End of Portland Maine

Super small place, got there right when they opened and the bar was already full! The bartender cranked those drinks out super fast though and had great quality cocktails on the menu! We met some locals there that said they frequent this bar too, so ya know it’s good!

The End of Portland Maine was a phenomenal, 5/5 bar experience during our most recent 2025 visit. The space inside was intimate and inviting, with tons of character on display. Even though it was very busy, the bartender was a delight, giving incredible service, conversation, and drinks. Absolutely will be back next time we're in Portland!

Flawless bar. Unfussy but wicked nice. Great staff every night of the week. Fun spot to snag a cheap beer/shot combo, but they make a killer martini, too. Feels good to go solo with a book, meet someone for a chill date, or hang with a small crew. The staff are friendly to the local kids & give treats to the dags on their walks by. Stellar neighborhood bar.

Gave 5 stars on the food, but you should probably like hot dogs. With the fall of many great places in Portland, The End sets the bar back to where it should be. Cheers!

On the base of Munjoy Hill one will find one of the best neighbor-hood bars in Portland, Maine. Excellent cocktails and beverages with superior service. This is the most needed rock and roll dive bar that you are looking for.

Had a blast here with my bestie. We had some drinks and enjoyed our evening. Cosmopolitans were delicious and our server/bartender was adorable!!! Will be back for sure
