The End of Portland Maine

Awesome drinks, cool music and fun environment! Small venue with great service. If you want food you can have a delicious hotdog or popcorn. Not a dinner spot, but you want a delicious cocktail and great vibes, definitely worth the trip:)

Chill intimate environment. Fabulous community. Rotating local art. Fast friendly bar service. Excellent drinks, whether you want a cheap beer or a cocktail. Sober friendly with NA options. Everyone is welcome and treated with kindness. The End is a regular stop for me and I have all the respect for the guys behind it. Check them out! 🤘🏻

The End of Portland Maine was a phenomenal, 5/5 bar experience during our most recent 2025 visit. The space inside was intimate and inviting, with tons of character on display. Even though it was very busy, the bartender was a delight, giving incredible service, conversation, and drinks. Absolutely will be back next time we're in Portland!

Great dive bar. But one that actually smells great. Great NA selection. Cheap Haams. Would be a regular here.

Super small place, got there right when they opened and the bar was already full! The bartender cranked those drinks out super fast though and had great quality cocktails on the menu! We met some locals there that said they frequent this bar too, so ya know it’s good!

On the base of Munjoy Hill one will find one of the best neighbor-hood bars in Portland, Maine. Excellent cocktails and beverages with superior service. This is the most needed rock and roll dive bar that you are looking for.

What can I say about the end? From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Even my sober friends were taken care of by the phenomenal bartenders who know their stuff. A perfect selection of drinks to choose from with a tasteful dive aesthetic. Busy or not, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Great punk bar. Beer list is 👌. Try the Doctor Pepper (Miller HighLife and Disaronno.

I have been here a handful of times and will continue to come back! Parking right out front with street parking usual not too difficult to find but occasionally have to go one street over. It's not the most spacious spot with a only handful of tables for 4 (I've seen people do 5 with someone on the end a bit awkwardly), but it's a cozy, well-kept local bar. Friendly bartenders and friendly folks that frequent the place with a solid cocktail list. They have hot dogs and a few smaller bites that I have not yet tried, but I am sure I will when I go back!

High/Low bar. This is exactly the type of bar we like when we are in a different city. Great music, friendly people and friendly staff. Any time we come to town, this is where we end up at some point. Punk/metal vibes with that kind of welcoming attitude.

Great local bar. I also love that they have non-alcoholic wine there. (And regular wine too) And hotdogs! Will be back.
