Delightfully different. Roomy with pleasant decor. Great location to many sights and food. Relaxing by the river! I was unable to try the restaurant because of evening obligations, but the the second floor pub was fun with deck overlook of the river. Staff was overworked, but happy to service me. Would stay again.

Very quaint hotel with a lot of history. My father in law hosted his business clients here many years ago and the charm is the same now as then.
Big shout out to Brenna who manages the hotel. She is always available and keeps everything running smoothly. The continental breakfast and coffee is a nice opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of the hotel.
Amazing location on the river, huge rooms, nice restaurant, and great staff.

Highly recommend! Staff is small so if you're someone that wants things right away, have no patience or lack people skills, go find a chain hotel or stay home. If you want a laid back, vacation type, no drama and peaceful setting, this is your place. Great location, great view, park nearby. Staff from the desk(Brenna who was awesome!), to the pub are nothing short of amazing. They go the extra mile. Views are great, food/drink from pub is 2nd to none, breakfast quiche is amazing. We've recommended to all our friends and will be returning many, many more times.

Stayed here a few weeks ago during a snowstorm and it was a nice cozy place to be holed up in. Big, comfortable room with nice bed. Great to be able to just take an elevator to happy hour and then dinner without having to set a foot outside. Excellent Guiness on draft along with other Irish beers. The cottage pie and mussels for dinner were great! Breakfast with made to order omelets on weekends a very nice touch. Staff all very friendly and even sent me a phone cable I left in the room.

Cute pub atmosphere, personable bartender and waitress. Enjoyed the choice to sit outside on the balcony near the river with our beverages. Nice view. Was disappointed in the non printed walleye special as I was told by the bar tender it would be pan fried but it came deep fried. It tasted fine but I'm watching my cholesterol and wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it was deep fried. I only ate half. After eating part of the walleye I asked the waitress, (she was new that day) if it was pan fried and she asked in the kitchen and found it wasn't and apologized. Also served was just a half slice of rye bread. I should have asked for another half I suppose, but didn't want to seem too picky. But I'll do that next time if I return. My husband had the half rack of ribs and it was delicious and a generous portion. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant.

Good location, nice views from room. Room was a little on dated side and pretty dusty. Spare linens were not clean. However, the rest of the room was clean enough. The bed was very clean, which is what really counts. I would say ditch the carpet if the rooms don't get used very often. Otherwise the dust just had more obvious places to settle. I'd stay here again on the off chance I'll ever be in this area of the country ever again.

A huge thank you to Ennis team. We celebrated my 40th birthday at the pub and everything was perfect. We had 11 people and were seated in the private room. The waitress was super nice and really worked hard throughout the meal. The food was top notch! The owner even popped in to tell us an old Irish joke. We definitely will be back and will definitely recommend this place to others.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful! The location is awesome!! Loved being right at the Riverwalk and park! The breakfast quiche was super tasty and there were plenty of other choices too! We also enjoyed the creme brulee and bread pudding!! We wished there were a fridge and a microwave in the room and the bed felt small for a queen but overall we enjoyed our stay here!
