From the impressive daily European and Asian/Myanmar breakfast to the excellent facilities, this was truly a 100% five-star experience, and we highly recommend it.|We have traveled extensively and stayed in many different types of accommodations around the world, but The Eravati left such a strong impression that we felt compelled to write this review. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive—so extensive and varied that during our entire 28-day stay, we never had to repeat the same food.|Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The gym was excellent, and my husband’s favorite feature was the infinity swimming pool overlooking the river—absolutely beautiful and relaxing.|We also enjoyed the Saturday special seafood buffet with two couples of distant family members. Despite being a very crowded event, everything was well organized, and the food selection—from lobsters to sashimi—was superb. Other family members visiting from Canada joined us one evening at the hotel bar, where we enjoyed delicious satays and beer in a lovely atmosphere.|As senior travelers (we are both 75 years old), we found this hotel especially suitable and comfortable. From the bellboys and room service/restaurant to housekeeping and the front office staff—whether helping with internet issues or taxi arrangements—everyone provided prompt, careful attention with the sweetest smiles. This level of service felt truly luxurious and made our long stay especially enjoyable.|A very special highlight was how the hotel celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. On our 27th day, the managers, staff, and chefs surprised us at breakfast with a beautifully made cake and candles. The warmth and care shown made us feel like family, and it is something we will always remember.|The Eravati Sule Grand Yangon is extremely comfortable, impeccably clean, and very well managed. It is ideal for both tourists and business travelers. We would most definitely return and look forward to staying here again.

The room was spacious and spotless, the gym excellent, and the infinity pool overlooking the river was my husband’s favorite place. The breakfast buffet (European/Asian) was exceptional, with such variety that we never repeated the same food during our entire stay. We also enjoyed a wonderful seafood buffet and relaxing evenings at the hotel bar with families who visited us. As senior travelers (both 75), we felt especially well looked after. Every staff member—from bellboys, housekeeping, restaurant staff and front desk—treated us like family. A very touching highlight was the surprise celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary, complete with a beautiful cake at breakfast. We will never forget their kindness. Comfortable, elegant, and beautifully managed, The Eravati Sule Grand Yangon is a hotel we wholeheartedly recommend and would gladly return to.

I signed up for a 3-month membership at the hotel gym. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and never overcrowded. Equipment is solid and covers all the basics for strength and cardio. Locker rooms are tidy, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and professional. Not a hardcore bodybuilding gym, but perfect for consistent workouts and convenience. Thank you, Chris, for the smooth sign-up process and welcoming service.

After waiting years for this building to open (it was supposed to be the Rosewood), it’s finally here. It is probably the most luxurious hotel in Yangon at the moment. We also stayed at The Strand, but this is definitely more modern and high-end.|The breakfast is superb and the bar is a great spot. The rooftop pool offers amazing views, though service there was a bit limited. Note that not all floors are open yet.|One tip: Be careful with some rooms on the first floor. Some windows are located right under the entrance canopy, making the rooms very dark. Try to request a room on a higher floor if possible.|Overall, a 5-star experience and highly recommended!

The location near Sule Pagoda and downtown is very convenient for exploring Yangon. We stayed in the Grand Hermitage Room which was spacious, clean and beautifully designed. The highlight was the large private balcony that perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river view. The rate was 470,000 MMK per night and it truly felt worth it for the comfort and overall experience.

The Eravati promotes itself as one of the most luxurious hotels in Yangon. But it fell short during my stay. The first, small issue, is that the rooms face Strand Rd and there is a music venue across the street that plays very loud music some nights. The sound even penetrates the double pane windows. A much bigger issue is the way they handled my reservation done through an OTA. I reserved a room which was advertised as including breakfast. When I checked in, I was told breakfast was not included. I contacted the OTA who told me that breakfast should be included and that I should order breakfast. If the hotel charges me for breakfast during checkout, the OTA will resolve this problem with the hotel and I will be reimbursed. I was charged $16.14 for a not very good breakfast from a hotel that is 5 star. I sent the receipts to the OTA, and after some exchange of messages, the hotel admitted that they made a mistake. However they only offered to refund $9. The hotels explanation was not very clear but it sounded like they did not charge the proper rate with breakfast on the OTA site. Well, if it was their mistake, they should have reimbursed me for the full charge. As a 5 star hotel, it is incredible that they are trying to fight over $7 even though they were clearly at fault. For me, the issue is not $7. It is such a small amount, I do not want to spend anymore time trying to get reimbursed by my credit card company or the OTA. But their action is more typical of how a 1 star hotel would respond.

Maybe my expectations for this place were quite high, so I felt a bit disappointed with the service. The hotel itself is very nice, with high ceilings and spacious rooms. The sunset view from the room was spectacular! However, there were some service issues. Even though we arrived around 3:00 PM and had pre-booked the best room, the check-in process took far too long. It took about 30 minutes to receive our room, despite there being no one else at the check-in counter. I’m not sure what caused the delay. The check-out experience was similar and took around 35 minutes. Breakfast was average. At the bar, the staff also took a long time to return our change, even though it’s a small bar with very few customers.

It's 100% a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional. The 90 mins body scrub at their spa is one of the most value for money I've experienced and I have paid for a lot of premium spa experiences across Southeast Asia.There's a shower with a aesthetic stool for those who can't stand for long complete with a door. There's also a spacious bath that is separate from the shower and the toilet.Seating after seating after seating. A bench at the foot of our twin bed. Perfect for putting on socks while sitting down. There's 2 dining chairs for a table that comfortably fits two and there's still a chaise beside the window and lastly a backless chair for a side table that doubles as your vanity.They included 2 dining plates and even silverware in the drawers under the minibar. 2 teacups along with 2 glasses. The rooftop pool and the gym has a separate shower stalls and restroom stalls with an electric dryer for your swimsuits. Phenomenal. Staff are always stationed there at all times for any aid you may request of them. There's also a steam room which we used.I cannot gush about them enough. I love
