The Esplanade Hotel

Dropped in for a lunch during our work trip up from Perth. The public bar was really well set up and had a great atmosphere that was really welcoming. The adjoining beer garden was a fantastic addition which also was very pleasant. The menu and food options were also incredible. Ordered the pork skewers which have an Asian influence with rice and pickled vegetables. In really delicious lunch! I highly recommend this place if you have a few hours spare to drop in and chill.

I've heard the rooms are nice. But I had a lonely dinner at the front bar, and it was very nice! Good vibe, not scungy and little more up market. Food choice was great and the ginger beer with lime and ice went down well. Definitely worth the visit.

Clean open atmosphere. I had the Korean seafood pizza it was amazing the best tasting pizza in a long time

Recently had the pleasure of dining here at the Esplanade in Port Hedland . My husband and I have enjoyed oysters from around Australia when ever we get the opportunity and the oysters at the Esplanade were with out a doubt some of the freshest and best we have ever had ! If you love your oysters and get the chance definitely go and try them 👌

I don’t usually do this but I was pretty disappointed. My partner and I ordered calamari. We were very excited as we ordered this back in may and it was delicious! We came in today and got told that they had changed the sauce on the menu. As we got our food today it looked very different. We had a couple of bits and started to feel sick. We left hungry because we couldn’t eat it.

Pleasant setting and friendly service, however the calamari was extremely oily and unpleasant tasting. Replacement plate of same was no better suspect they need to review the cooking method or change the oil.

Ordered the Steak sandwich for dinner. Out came a burger with two pieces of steak in it and a lot of sauce. The steak was the chewiest pieces of steak I have ever had in a restaurant. I had to spit it out because I could not swallow it. The chips were old and dried out as if they were the previous days chips? For the price of $28.00, I expected a lot better. Even though they have a partial monopoly due to other facilities shutting down. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
