The Excelsior Arosa

This hotel is at a higher part of the Arosa village, so it’s quieter. The room I got was fairly large with a balcony facing to a pure nature! In this hotel staff is a treasure. They are really nice and helpful wherever they are in the hotel. I didn’t use the sauna and swimming pool but friends were happy with the facility.

Excelsior is one of the highest situated hotel in Arosa which means you have best view from lovely terrace. Atmosphere and staff are great, room was cosy. We spent there exciting 5 days. For me as disable person was pleasant to park front of the door and for my dog, who love snow, not so heavy traffic as on main street!||||What I would suggest to hotel, serve more rich breakfast and prepare egs not so dry :)

Every year we look forward to our annual vacation in Arosa and again we are thrilled with the staff at the Hotel Excelsior. Friendly, courteous and service oriented. In addition, the food was excellent and the bedspreads are simply fantastic.

We arrived from St.Moritz and all of a sudden you feel the serene most comfy silence of Arosa. The hotel has front door parking for a fixed fee. Basically you don't need the car during you stay because the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to any place you would like to go. You can schedule the bus for early bird ski lessons what makes it all very comfortable. A little tip to the driver helps to have an extra smile and the perfect holiday feeling. The hotel is nice decorated and every evening there is piano music with a nice repetoire of 80-ties & 90-ties music songs. We stayed here with the family. ||2 adults and 2 kids and we all had the time of our life. During the week we almost had the hotel staff for our selves and they definitly made us feel like SPECIAL. From Thursday till Sunday more weekend travellers are checking in. The food is amazing and we loved the nice old skool hotel bar.There is a small but very nice and clean swimming pool. For the kids a separate giant playroom with toys. We definitely return back to The Excelsior.||We felt like a royal family with tip top service, food, quality & pricing. The hotel offers good service. The room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely view. There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet. A bit of a slippery walk in places from the center of town to the hotel.

Very friendly staff and reasonably decent breakfast. Bar is terrible and rooms are very dated. I agree that the place needs a refresh. WiFi situation is absolutely terrible (like staying at a hostel or something). You have to get a ticket for each device like its 1999. Certainly not a 4 star ⭐️ hotel, especially for the price we had to pay. Did I mention they included a baby crib for our imaginary child?

Dear people, You really has to visit this lovely and great hotel, with a fanbtastic Team, which gives you the most pleasant stay, you wishes. ||Everything is great, the diner, the breakfast, the rooms, the most relaxing beds, the price, and don´t forget the relaxed team, which gives you the feeling of a Family,||Without loosing the quality of privacy, Thanks a lot for having this beautifull 2 Weeks visit, during my courses in Singing classes. The hotel is fine but rooms would appreciate a refresh. Breakfast was great, with a great selection and fresh eggs cooked at your taste. The spa area closes at 6:30... A bit early considering you want yo use it after ski. It is also a bit small, but in great shape and recently renovated. There is also a great shutgle service to the slopes and train station. Call them to tell your arrival time if you go by train and they will pick you up. Overall an ok experience, I would go back.
