This Is the No. 1 Glamping Spot in the U.S. for 2025

"I was drawn to The Falls at Sewanee Creek, an East Coast gem that invites guests to unwind beside Miller’s Falls, a stunning 50‑foot cascade a short walk from the property, and that its creative lodging includes a treehouse, a “treetent,” and a cabin built from shipping containers, with a nearby cave and a fairy village tucked into the trees." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50. She now splits her time between Colorado and Paris, ensuring she doesn't have to live without skiing or L'As du Fallafel. Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines

We had a great stay at the tree house! It is a one of a kind accommodation. Very close to nature while still having a hot shower and comfort. We were only able to stay one night, but we will be back so we have time to explore the property more. Grant was happy to give us a tour and show us where the fairies live. Would love to come back and stay in the glamping tent with the view of the waterfall.

We stayed in every accommodation except The Cabin. Each is unique, cozy, and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. I stayed in The Glamper and listened to the Waterfall all day and night. We hiked to the waterfall and behind it and got some great photos. Some of our crew left camp and hiked a couple of trails near by. Great location for lots of hiking. The outdoor kitchen space is Awesome! We also enjoyed the fire pits. Grant is a great host and story teller. You must go on the Fairy Tour. Grants wife.. made The best mini Quiches and Muffins served with Orange Juice.. Gourmet for sure. We will definitely be back. Thank you.. Alice and Crew

Where do I start? Grant & Becky are great hosts who are kind, hospitable, accomodating & friendly. The property is clean, secure and feels safe. With a great blend of nature yet close enough to town should you need something-The Falls at Sewanee Creek is a must stay. I enjoyed that Grant encouraged you to enjoy as much of his property as possible, he and his wife work very hard to make every square inch enjoyable. I would not hesitate to seek them out again for a nature meets creative stay again. It was everything I hoped for & more. Thanks Grant & Becky! 🧡🥾🌲

What a delightful property & host! Of course the perfect fall weather & changing leaves were an added bonus, but if you are looking for a unique camp spot with lovely views & atmosphere, this is a great one! The other rentals Grant has on his property are also so unique & worth looking into if you aren’t a tent camper. We will definitely be back!

The host is wonderful, the lodgings are great and the location can't be beat. There are two waterfalls to see on this property and many, many more in the very nearby South Cumberland State Park.

We stayed in a primitive site with our dog and 1yr old son. It was our best camp in a month long trip because there’s only a few sites that are spread out. Close hike to Sewanee falls and close drive to many other falls. Grant and his wife were great and there’s next to zero mosquitoes in August. Bring a $25 electric shower pump along with a big jug and you’re set.
