**The Worst Five-Star Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed At**
I had high expectations for The Farm at San Benito, but my stay was a complete disaster. In just one day, I was moved to four different rooms due to issues that should never exist in a luxury resort.
The first two rooms had air conditioning units that were unbearably loud, clearly in need of urgent maintenance. The third room was shockingly filthy—dust, food scraps, and body hair were scattered on the floor, especially in the restroom. Even basic amenities like hand towels and face towels weren’t provided, and when I requested them, it took an outrageous 1 hour and 30 minutes to receive them.
To make matters worse, the room was infested with bugs, yet the hotel didn’t even bother to provide mosquito repellent. For a wellness resort, this is simply unacceptable. Even standard hotels in other countries provide these basic amenities without issue, ensuring cleanliness and guest comfort.
The service was beyond disappointing—slow, unprofessional, and nowhere near five-star quality. **It even took 30 minutes for the buggy to pick us up from the villa**, a frustrating delay that only added to the poor service experience. On top of that, **the bidet in our bathroom was dirty**, which only added to the resort's lack of attention to hygiene and maintenance. In fact, I’ve experienced far better service at three-star/four-star hotels. This was, without a doubt, the worst five-star hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
