We stayed at The Farm Resort and were absolutely taken by the breathtaking views and peaceful, natural surroundings — it’s a truly stunning location. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the staff, including our butler, were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the food was a letdown. Overall, it wasn’t very tasty and didn’t meet the standard expected for the price. Bread items like buns and cakes served at breakfast were not fresh, which was disappointing. There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of both quality and flavor. That said, the beauty of the resort and the excellent service still made our stay enjoyable. With better food, this place could be a real standout.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was absolutely flawless. The security at the gate welcomed us warmly, and check-in was handled with true professionalism. The hotel premises and the views are simply breathtaking truly like heaven on earth. This is a must visit destination (Hotel) in Sri Lanka! A special thanks to our butler, Suren, for being so professional and attentive throughout our stay. The food was exceptional big portions, incredible flavors. Honestly the best I’ve ever had in a resort. Huge appreciation to Chef Sudesh and the entire team, from housekeeping to gardening and maintenance, for making our stay such a unique and unforgettable experience.

Had the most magical one-night honeymoon stay at The Farm Resorts. The view was breathtaking, the food was next-level amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind. Nadeera was our butler & he served us really well. We went kayaking, did a morning nature walk, and even rode bikes through the tea fields — such a peaceful and beautiful experience. Wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely be back! 🖤

We stayed at a beautiful property overlooking the serene Castle Reservoir—a calm, quiet, and scenic location that’s perfect for a relaxing holiday. The peaceful atmosphere, coupled with the natural beauty around, makes it ideal for those looking to disconnect from the busy world and enjoy a peaceful homestay experience. The hotel offers kayaking at Castle Reservoir, which is a nice activity for guests. However, aside from that, there isn’t much to do. It would be great if they could consider adding a swimming pool to further enhance the guest experience. Since they already have a lovely garden, adding a couple of swing seating spots here and there would be a lovely touch for guests to sit back and relax. The food was really enjoyable—served in generous portions, with great taste and quality. The customer service throughout the stay was commendable, with staff being friendly and attentive. One thing that really stood out was the music at the restaurant, which was consistently pleasant during every meal. It added a positive and uplifting vibe to the dining experience. All in all, even though the charges are relatively higher, if you’re seeking a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with good food and warm hospitality, this is a great place to consider.

The farm resort easily offers one of the most stunning and unique views in Sri Lanka, overlooking the breathtaking Castlereigh Reservoir. Waking up to that view is truly an experience in itself. The peaceful surroundings and natural beauty make it the ideal place to relax and unwind. The range of activities they offer is impressive and adds so much value to the stay. You can try painting, cycling, tea plucking, and even kayaking on the reservoir—all available at an additional cost, and totally worth it. Kayaking especially was a highlight and something I’d highly recommend. The food was really nice, with generous portion sizes that leave you fully satisfied. Dining can even be arranged outdoors in the garden, which adds a beautiful touch to the experience. Special mention to our butler, Ravindra, who was super helpful and always available when needed. You can easily coordinate everything with him—he makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, this place combines natural beauty, great service, and unique experiences in one peaceful package. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a memorable stay in the hill country.

A Truly Magical Stay – Like Living in a Work of Art! I recently stayed at this beautiful farm resort, and it truly felt like living in a piece of art. Every cottage offers a breathtaking view of the Castlereigh Reservoir – it's absolutely stunning and left me speechless. The entire property has only a few cottages (just 3 or 4), which makes it incredibly peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. A special thank you to Mr. Nadeera, our personal butler during the stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His kindness and warm hospitality really elevated our experience. Every member of the staff was equally friendly and welcoming. The hotel amenities were also excellent – they even provided thoughtful extras like an umbrella and a yoga mat in the room. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay – the views, the calm atmosphere, the service, and especially the kind attention from Mr. Nadeera made it unforgettable. We stayed at this resort last December during our honeymoon. The view from the chalet is breathtaking and really refreshing and relaxing. Food was tasty and good portion size. The staff is very friendly and always looked forward to attend to our needs. We had an exceptional experience in kayaking surrounded by the fascinating views. Really worth for the money we spent for the stay.
