Google
Great fun (as long as you like animals). We fed and pet the animals. Cute gift shop. Friendly staff. Some short trails to walk. Little stops inside the property with information and interesting antique farm equipment. Beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens to walk through and can even pick some - they weigh it for price. Not sure of the cost as we did not take any vegetables. Lots of families with kids of all ages running around. Not very shady except on the short trails so if the sun is shining prep accordingly. Worth the trip.

Google
Wonder experience at The Farm with our kids and grandkids. The place was teaming with goats checking everyone for bottles of milk. The place was well kept and the staff were attentive. We spent a couple of hours there. The joy in our grandchildren’s eyes will keep us coming back.

Carla Addison

Google
So much fun had by big and little kids. Feeding the goats a bottle was definitely a highlight. Walking the paths and seeing the old buildings and 2 peacocks fanned out was great. Went mon of memorial day, and it was busy but not crazy.

Eva Worthing

Google
This was our favorite activity in Door County! Prices are reasonable and all of us had an amazing time - from 10 to 67 years old. We got to feed baby goats, milk a goat, hold baby kittens and a goat and feed the rest of the animals corn. At $0.25 a bag for corn, it’s so affordable!

Heidi Stair

Google
The Farm is one of our must-do places on vacation to Door County. The entry fee is reasonable, and you can buy bottles for the baby goats and corn to feed to very cheap. A great excursion for all ages in Door County.

Ethan B-L

Google
Great experience with our 7-year-old, who got to feed baby goats for the first time! We also got to see adult goats, sheep, lambs, chickens, baby chicks - some just hatching (!), cows, and Sicilian donkey (Penny) a mini horse (Reggie), pigeons, dices, rabbits, and peafowl. What a great place for a city kid like ours to experience a bit of farm life!

Noemi Cisneros

Google
Loved seeing the animals especially the baby goats roaming out and about. You could pick them up and play. Great for families.

Steve Reeves

Google
Fun place for a family with kids. We went with our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter and she had the best time ever. She ran to pet every animal wandering the property and in the fenced in areas. The entire place was super clean. The stuff was friendly, informative, and helpful. When you go, be sure to feed the baby goats with the milk bottles. Another fun thing to do is to walk the trails. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend going.

Yelp
We loved visiting The Farm! Feeding baby goats, cuddling kittens, watching newborn baby chicks take their first steps, milking a goat, and walking through a spectacular flower and vegetable garden, I mean, how can you not feel joy? I love that there's also a trail you can go on, but we didn't have enough time for that. There's plenty to do here with all the different animals and exhibits showcasing historical farm life.
google avatar

Melanie B.

Yelp
If you love animals, you'll love this farm. For $10.50 for adults and $7 for kids, you can hold kittens, feed baby goats and buy bags of corn to feed the adult animals. You can also learn how to milk a goat. There are so many animals here -- horses, ponies, rabbits, peacocks, cows, ducks, chickens, doves, and of course the goats and cats. I don't have little kids anymore but kids of all ages can enjoy this place. It was a highlight of our trip to Door County
google avatar

Marsha S.

Yelp
Such an amazing place with many animals you can feed, a pond, flowers, beautiful scenery We got to hold and pet baby kittens too

Gwen H.

Yelp
The kids loved it! As city kids, they were really excited and surprised that they could milk a goat. They had fun feeding those cute little goats too. Good, clean family fun!

Grace D.

Yelp
I have nothing but amazing remarks for this place! My 2 year old absolutely loved everything here. She especially loved feeding the baby goats. During our visit, every kid was given a ticket they could use to purchase either a baby bottle to feed goats or a bag of corn to feed other animals (adult goats, sheep, cows, etc). We spent about an hour here - plenty of spots for a quick lunch if you bring one. Also stroller friendly as we brought our 7 month old (who enjoyed the animals as well!). I highly recommend for any family of young kids traveling in the area.

Annissa L.

Yelp
KITTENS!! So many cute animals to feed and love on. Large property with lots of historic artifacts. Great for kids and adults!
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
Cute baby animals and so fun to bottle feed sore if them. A little hard to get around with my mom her wheelchair.
google avatar

Mari V.

Yelp
Second time there and we loved it even more. Staff was helpful and friendly. Most importantly the animals looked well taken care of and happy to be around people. My daughter loved feeding and petting a variety of animals there. Will definitely return!
google avatar

Eugene F.

Yelp
This was so fun! The baby goats are the primary reason to come! You can feed them and hold them like little puppies and they are super used to it! So much fun! Worth it for little ones too! Just get there early because the lines get long and parking fills up. It's a bit chaotic and I wish we were given a map or told where things where because we had a limited wake window to do everything
google avatar

Lily F.

Yelp
We arrived fairly early in the day, and the web site does state that they can halt bottle and corn sales based on the number of people who arrive. However, when we were there, they said only kids or families with kids were allowed to get the milk bottles for the goats. It's disappointing because we would have loved to feed the baby goats. Most kids we saw trying to feed the goats couldn't do it properly because they were too afraid to, and a lot of the milk was wasted as it was dripping into the ground. So, all we had was corn, which you could only feed to adult goats and cows. Pros- the place is big, and has a lot of animals, many goats are babies You'll see birds (chickens, pigeons, doves, peacocks) The bottles and corn are only 25 cents each Cons- no kid, no bottle :( With corn, there are barely any animals to feed. Why don't they offer carrots for the horses and donkeys? It isn't clear what the fate is for these animals, so maybe these poor animals eventually get eaten

LJ W.

Yelp
Amazing experience for my grandchildren as well as the adults. Go! You won't be disappointed.

Lynn S.

Yelp
It was fine. My kids got bored quickly and there weren't a ton of animals. We wouldn't go back, but it was fine to try once. We were just underwhelmed.
google avatar

Whitney S.

Yelp
I want to take all of them home so many cute and tiny animals that you get to feed, pet and hold! A super fun activity with kids. Some hiking trails along the back side of the property as well.
google avatar

Alyssa B.

Yelp
A MUST DO!!! Definitely stop here- great for all ages. Read the reviews- they are all spot on. It's a clean, excellent environment to get close and feed animals. Very nice layout on property and a visit well worth it! When we paid to get in, I was told the bottles were only for kids to avoid over feeding. The lady was nice enough to provide me one since we went early and it was the only reason I wanted to make the stop! It was so fun to feed the baby goats and toss corn into the cows' mouths. We had a riot! If I were to provide any constructive feedback, it would be to consider allowing adults buy one bottle of milk. It's not just kids that get a kick out of it! We enjoyed it very much and felt it was odd that unless we asked/pleaded, we would not have had that experience because we didn't have a child with us. If a family comes with 5 children, they get 5 bottles, but 2 adults can't get 1 bottle? It doesn't make sense. Make this change and you will have many more happy visitors- even if they don't have children. I also wish there was a bit more social distancing in effect. No one was wearing masks, which is generally okay being outside, but kids running everywhere and some of the indoor barns very crowded. We went early so it wasn't as bad, but on the way out it was very busy. 4 stars due to bottle policy and social distancing. Regardless, we had an excellent time and will be coming back year after year- hopefully with the chance to feed the goats/pig by bottle again. It was an experience to remember!
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting this to be my alley because, adulthood. Pleasantly surprised! Once you've paid admission you can buy milk bottles for the baby goats and corn for the other animals for 25 cents each. Plenty of action around the farm. Many information placards and museum like viewing areas to learn about the farm and its history. Stay as long as you like, milkings every hour.

Yelp
Cute little farm in door county.. very well kept clean and the animals are well taken care of.. we saw cows sheeps lambs pigs turkeys chickens and hens.. they do offer milk bottles for kids to feed the animals and you can buy animal feed for adults to feed the animals.. they also have small and simple trails near by which is very nice to have a short walk.. kids will love this place and adults will enjoy this too.. ample amount of parking in their parking lot.. i think they shut down during winter and fly their animals else where.. great stop during our trip to Door County this fall..

Samme N.

Yelp
Fun animal experience for all - see lots of animals up close, leisurely walk the path around the animals, museum-like buildings with old farming equipment, kitchen supplies, honey tools, etc. kind of a farm zoo mixed with a Laura Ingles Wilder vibe
google avatar

Josh F.

Yelp
This was our second visit to the farm but first with our daughter. It was even better than our previous visit several years prior but left us with just as many if not more memories for the entire family. The people that work there are friendly and the animal interactions are amazing. Love this place!!!!
google avatar

Jennette R.

Yelp
If time allowed during our trip to Door County... i would go every day. We don't even have kids but this was the best place we visited hands down. Super friendly staff!!! So mom and pop. The baby goats and our favorite were the kittens!!! i could sit there all day. Feeding Jerry was a highlight. The fall colors and decorations were spot on. Love The Farm!
google avatar

Yelp
This is definently in my top 3 favorite petting zoos I have been to. They have a good variety of animals including Goats, Cows and Kittens. They also have a few small museums spread out with old farming equipment and tools. The Farm also has a small garden with potatoes, sunflowers and more. They also have an area where they allow you to pick a four leaf clover for good luck. This is a vert fun farm to go to and I definently recommend this petting zoo to anyone visiting Door County.
google avatar

Em B.

Yelp
I can only repeat what's been said before... A Wonderful experience for adults and children of all ages. I suggest you go early while the animals are still hungry and they accept the bottlefeeding readily. Love how the owners regulates only one bottle per customer so the animals are not overfed. My three granddaughters ages seven and eight were delighted by the animals, chickens, goats, little piggies, flowers, big bull, scarecrow and the deep well. Don't plan to spend the whole day but a few hours of fun, fun, fun!
google avatar

Kulbir S.

Yelp
So much fun! Loved that my kiddo got to feed so many animals, especially the goats! Super cute and friendly place!

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
If you have kids please take them here!!! Such a cute hands on farm experience. The best part are the baby bottles you can feed the baby goats & sheep! Be aware they require cash to purchase bottles and corn, but don't have an atm. It's beyond me why you have a tourist business (I'm going to assume most are from Chicago like us) and no atm when requiring cash. I don't care cash and hardly even use my card anymore than to Apple Pay.

Yelp
I have been visiting The Farm since I was a kid. My husband and I have taken our kids several times, but it had been a couple of years since we had visited. Even though our boys are older now (11 and 13), they were still excited to visit The Farm! You can feed the baby goats a bottle, you can hold a kitten, see the piglets, milk a goat, feed corn to the cows and other animals. There are several old/historic buildings that are interesting to learn about. There is a display of old farm equipment/machinery. It usually takes up to about two hours to see all the sights and animals. I would recommend stopping at The Farm if you are in door County. Good family fun for all ages.

Yelp
Yes, yes, yes. 5 plus stars. The best little farm around. Extremely family friendly and staff is always there to answer question. From feeding the baby goats bottles to a milking station, to our favorite Brahma to the barn yard kittens, there is something for everyone.

Yelp
Totally Irresponsible. We normally love going to The Farm whenever we are staying in Door County. We usually get a season pass, but we went today and they were absolutely unacceptable about social distancing. They did have a plexiglass screen up and they had made traffic through the entrance/giftshop one way. However, when we arrived, the two teens behind the counter were not wearing masks and when I asked about any Covid-19 precautions, they both laughed. One said, their animals are dirty so they weren't worried. All the zoos and humane societies in the country are worried, but apparently NOT The Farm. When we went into the main courtyard (Wearing our masks) NO ONE else was wearing a mask or practicing any social distancing. Families were letting their kids run all over and into buildings where other people were present. Elderly grandparents were there and no one was giving them space. People kept crowding everyone and the staff who were present were not doing anything to encourage social distancing. They just stood around unmasked and watching people. I think I saw one staff person wearing a mask. The girls at the front desk without masks and laughing about taking precautions set the tone for the guests to pretend that there isn't a dangerous pandemic happening. When we left, because everyone in our group was uncomfortable, the line was huge to get in and of course, the farm hadn't marked where to stand to line up so everyone was on top of each other with no masks. Most other businesses in Door County are requiring masks, are social distancing, having curbside and take out available. People at the beach were social distancing, etc. I want our favorite businesses to succeed, and most are behaving responsibly, but this was a shocking disregard for the safety of both guests and staff. I guess The Farm just doesn't care if their staff or guests get sick. We will not be back this season and have told all our friends who come up every year to not go.

Yelp
The Farm was one of the highlights of our family trip to Door County. First and foremost, The Farm was a great value! With 2 children under 5, the cost of activities can add up fast. It was less than $25 for us all to experience feeding, petting , and cooing over cute animals. We spent over 2 hours there, so we got great bang for few bucks. The Farm was also extremely clean and provided ample hand washing opportunities. This is really key with little ones who tend to put everything, food or not, in their mouths. I must also commend this place for taking great care of their animals. They are conscious of over feeding, have lots of staff to assist children, and post clear signage so parents know exactly how to interact with and feed animals. Not a single animal looked unhappy, ill, or unloved. It was fantastic to see families learning and experiencing nature together. Hands down, this is my #1 recommendation for must-do activities for families with children ages 10 and under.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to stop. Sure it's a petting zoo but there's much more and there are plenty of things to learn about. This place is very well run and very clean. Be sure to take the time to walk around and see all the things there are to see.

Nina R.

Yelp
First time going there. My son had lots of fun feeding the animals and seeing the kittens. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Katie F.

Yelp
Such a fun spot for families! I've loved visiting since childhood and now taking my daughter. The animals are so sweet and it's always a lovely place to spend time.
google avatar

Kristen G.

Yelp
This place is so fun! We were visiting door county with our 3 boys, and we brought them here for the morning. They loved it! So much to do and see. All of the staff is very friendly. You can give baby goats a bottle, pet all of the animals, feed the cows. There are gardens to walk through, tractors for the kids to sit on, and a couple walking paths through the woods. Would highly recommend if you are visiting and have small kids.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG - a petting zoo done right. Gone are the days of sad baby goats stepping in their own poo in a small enclosed area at a pumpkin patch. The Farm is a sprawling haven of animals, tame and cute and down to hang out with you. You can also feed them from baby bottles. Yes. Baby bottles. Adorable. The fun doesn't stop with the baby animals. I know you might get bored with holding a baby goat (yeah right), so you can go see some of their bigger animals like the horse that looks like Joe Dirt (DANG!) or Jerry the Brahman cow. He is the size of a buffalo with the demeanor of a kitten. With a huge, gray tongue. He's amazing. There's a path to walk on, real crops to walk through, kittens, baby pigs, creepy turkeys, and those chickens that look like they are wearing pants made of feathers. Feather pants. Rates to get in are reasonable, bathrooms are okay, and I only got a little bit of farmyard poop on me. Score!!!!!!!!

Regan F.

Yelp
Limited to one bottle of milk per person they also out of corn five hours left until they closed. They started putting the animal away again with five hours left and there weren't any coming out again. They could also tell you when kittens like take naps. 20 DOLLARS TO GET IN FOR THAT!!!!! Also the staff was very rude they made you give a quarter with THE TICKET YOU PAYED FOR MILK. On the way out told the lady what they could improve and she just it's not my problem. They outsi people put them away and they tell me anything yeah I'm sure they don't. They lost a loyal customer.
google avatar

Robyn W.

Yelp
If you have young children (under 10), you must visit The Farm. Your kids can feed a baby goat a bottle, pet baby chicks, milk a goat, and much more. This is a hands-on, interactive place. When you walk in, it's like a big petting zoo. Different animals are housed in the barns. You can take a short walk around the pond and see the maple sugar house and read about the history of bee keeping. Picnic tables are on-site, so pack a lunch and head on over. Your kids will love it.
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
One of the coolest places in America maybe the world. Time it right and milk a goat and pet a baby piglet
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
This place is tons of fun. I'm no child in age, but I sure am in mentality and I had a great time here. They have lots of farm animals that are super friendly and love the attention. Especially if you feed them. We milked a goat, fed some baby pigs and goats from a bottle, played with the kittens, fed the goats and my personal favorite we fed Jerry the cow. He's about 2,300 LBS and friendly as can be.
google avatar

H K.

Yelp
Great time for everyone. Lots of nice animals you can really get close to & some even hold. Baby goats, lambs, kittens & chicks were adorable. Only disappointment (to 3 stars from 5) was witnessing a teenage farmhand very roughly grab & handle a poor goat when it mounted another (doing what goats do!). Probably the reality of daily farm animal treatment, but sad to witness as an animal-loving visitor who expects to see staff treating the animals well.
google avatar

Cheri M.

Yelp
This place is absolutely awesome! The animals were all so friendly and adorable. The goats and lambs run up to you for feedings. They sell milk in bottles for $.25 and corn in bags for a small charge. Everything with the animals is a hands-on experience. They have kittens and baby chicks that you can hold, goats and lambs that you can feed, horses, pigs, cows, and bunnies, a peacock, and more. I loved the old historical farm buildings that you can walk through to see old equipment and scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful and the farm was very clean. I would definitely go back here with my little ones if we are ever in the area again.
google avatar

Yelp
After going to Plum Loco we discovered The Farm. What a contrast! We spent less to get in, spent less on feed to feed the animals, saw wonderful displays, and lots of free roaming baby animals to pick up and hold! My daughter was in kitty heaven! The owner told us that locals bring them their unwanted kittens to be raised on The Farm then they are adopted out, he told us that all the ones we saw that day, must been at least a dozen, already all were spoken for. She would put one down then pick up another. Kittens weren't all that got picked up so did the baby goats roamed around. A half -filled (not a complaint) small bottle of goats milk cost a whopping 25 cents, the same amount as bags of corn. At Plum Loco we paid $2.50 for less than a handful of grain and six cut up carrot sticks! As the other reviewer said they had a walking path around the perimeter that had log cabins set up for educational purposes. One was a sugar house, another was set up to learn about bee keeping, and another was set up as a family cabin with a kitchen full of antiques and what not, all behind plexiglass. A small open shed had a Model T pickup as well as some antique farming equipment. They also have a nice souvenir shop that has reasonably priced merchandise. All in all this place is first class! I would highly recommend to all of all ages not just kids. I grew up in rural Illinois and grew up farming so while a lot of this was familiar I still enjoyed it. The era that is captured with their displays hearkens back to a time when farms were a family way of life not a business! If you pass up The Farm to go to the other place you are Plum Loco!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
If you're an animal lover or history buff, then this farm is a must see! The baby goats are adorable and the historical farm equipment and beautiful walking trails are amazing! The workers are very helpful and friendly too! So worth the $8.50 admission!
google avatar

Brett B.

Yelp
The Farm is quickly becoming our most treasured visit in DC. Tons of very cute baby animals, very clean, very well staffed. Everyone is happy - including the animals. The exhibits on farm histories are great for the adults.

Lauren M.

Yelp
ALERT! VISIT HERE! This was the highlight of our trip for my boyfriend and I! Just GO! We stopped here on our way up into Door County, and this was the first thing we did. This is great for all ages. Enjoy feeding milk to baby goats and holding piglets for as long as your heart desires. Beautiful grounds with almost (literally) any farm animal you can think of. You will spend a couple hours here, enjoying the smell of the outdoors and the sight of animals, up close and personal. Makes me want a farm myself!
google avatar

Vicki R.

Yelp
Fun, inexpensive, and just kind of a great way to spend and hour or two. The animals are extremely socialized (possibly the goats are the cutest...and most aggressive!). Bring lots of quarters for feed!

angela g.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We took our daughter here during a long weekend in Door County and we all had a blast. There are animals roaming around everywhere, and you are free to pet and pick them up. The huge Brahmin is awesome, he will open his mouth for you to throw corn in.. I fed him all of our corn since he was the only animal who seemed to want to eat it. We went later in the day and unfortunately the animals weren't allowed to have anymore milk bottles, so if that is something you're interested in doing, go early!! I would definitely recommend this place to families with small kids, or anyone who loves animals.
google avatar

Olivia K.

Yelp
I never really review other places other than restaurants, but this place is a beautiful, wonderful and amazing place. Clean, with many different animals you can see on the farm (sheep, cows, ox, bunnies, chickens, goats, lamb). with corn to feed goats, horses, pigs, sheep and chickens, you can hold corn in your hand. You can bottle feed a goat when you first get in, walk around and read about history (of machines, the place and animals) You can even hold kittens or watch chicks hatch. Great for family, just to pass the time. (Watch out for Aflac, the hissing duck)

Kelly M.

Yelp
My family loved coming here!!! The kitties are the best! The owner is very nice as well. He taught me all about the kitty cat Program! My daughter loved the kitty's. Not overly priced at all. Decent prices!
google avatar

Cory P.

Yelp
The Farm is awesome, hand down. We bring the kids here every time we venture north of Green Bay and even though they are 11 and 9 now, they still love it! I mean who doesn't love bottle feeding baby animals and cuddling little kittens, adults included. And I've never seen a farm so clean! The nature trail is short but the buildings offer so much history and information that you can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here and not be bored.
google avatar

Marty R.

Yelp
Amazing place - the buildings, trails, and grounds are so clean and well-maintained with informational signs about local history, agriculture, and geology. All of the staff are unbelievably friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. Of course, hands-down the best part is bottle feeding baby goats, pigs, and sheep and hand-feeding corn to the other animals.
google avatar

Jose T.

Yelp
Great fun for the family! My Ginger & I took our 1 year old daughter, SHE LOVED IT. She fed baby goats, a baby pig, played with kittens & a Brahman cow. She was AMAZED at all of the animals. Very cool place - baby animals roaming all over the place. I was accosted by the baby pig who tried to pick my pockets & steal my car keys. I would've expected such behavior from the goats, but NOT from the piglet. Once caught, he kept his distance. Other than that, I think all of the other animals can be trusted (although, I did see a goat walking off with a stroller).
