The first time we did not stop we thought it was just a produce stand. Really great food. It's made the Southern Living magazine several times also had a live TV show filmed there. And it's looks are deceiving.

We quite often grab dinner from here during the week. Their sweet potato souffle is fantastic. Some of my favorites are the fried chicken and the country fried steak with gravy. Can't go wrong with any of the sides either. Icing on the cake is that it is a local business and farm.

Mediocre at best. We mainly decided to go to this restaurant due to a Guy Fieri review on his TV show. There were several of us. We had turkey & dressing, green beans, peas, rice with gravy, pot roast, corn bread and biscuits. Some of the worst dressing I have ever eaten. It was cold, hard and for some reason sweet. A very small piece of turkey accompanied the dressing along with very little gravy. Pot roast was dry and the potatoes bland. Corn bread and biscuits were not tasty and were cold. My biscuit tasted like it was a day or so old. All orders of the rice and gravy (again with very little gravy) had uncooked grains of rice. The temperature of all the food was too low. Save your money and go to Cracker Barrel. I'll never watch Dinners, Drive-ins, and Dives again.

We visited here last week and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. My only suggestion for improvement would be a better sign in the parking lot directing new visitors to the restaurant. We were a bit confused and went to the barbecue restaurant first thinking maybe the name had changed. Fortunately they directed us to the right place. It was well worth the drive.

Lisa and I really enjoyed this family run restaurant and the waitress we had was very knowledgeable and professional, very efficient service. The meal was scrumptious. And well priced too. I heartedly recommend The Farmer's Shed to all my Facebook friends.

Did a monday night passing through. Tried the chicken n dumplings with green beans and broc n chesse cassarole. Food could have been a little hotter (especially the cornbread) but tasted good. The chicken n dumplins needed more chicken. 90% dumplings 10% chicken. In need of more protien i ordered baked rosemary chicken. That was simply great. Left happy overall.

Our first time visiting the Farmer's Shed and we really enjoyed it..The special of the day was Fried Catfish ,lightly breaded and fried crisp..A nice variety of sides are offered, the mac n cheese and fried okra were the perfect mates to my catfish. After our lunch we browsed the produce market and bought fresh blackberries, peaches, sweet corn and a Delicious Cherry cream cheese pie...nomnomnom!!!
