The Fashion Squad School

Since the moment my 9~year~Old daughter stepped foot at The Fashion Squad, she fell in love! She can’t stop talking about how she chose her own fabric, sketched her own design, sew her own dress AND wore it all on the same day! The thrill of unleashed creativity and the confidence boost she got sparked a love for sewing and designing she still enjoys today, a whole year later! What a wonderful place for children to create, learn, discover and embrace who they are! Round of applause for Founder /Owner Layana Aguilar and her dedicated team of professionals! The Fashion Squad School did an outstanding job hosting a sewing-themed birthday party for our daughter, and made everything super easy for us - from ordering food and cake to choreographing a fashion show for the parents. They were also very welcoming to our family and friends. We are so grateful to Layana and The Fashion Squad School for giving our daughter the chance to do something creative, confidence-boosting, and fun with her friends. I know she felt so special that day!

The Fashion Squad School is such a great place for children to thrive creatively. They get to make their own designs come to life and even can showcase them to parents and friends. They design, pick out their own fabrics and trims, sew and ultimately present. The skills learned here are immeasurable, it has built up my daughter’s confidence and it’s fair to say she’s now a better sewer and designer than I ever was! We are so lucky to have this amazing school, with all of its talented employees and owner in the neighborhood!

My daughter loves The Fashion Squad School, her confidence, creativity and sewing skills have developed tremendously, I’m grateful for the team that teaches her with professionalism, dedication and kindness. My daughter LOVES this class. It’s her absolute favorite after-school activity. She actually came home with something she had sewn herself on the very first day! I was amazed. Layana and her assistants are professional and always very warm and caring with the students. In addition to teaching them how to sew, you can really see how they are building confidence and inspiring creativity with the class. It’s such a fun, positive environment. We’ve been very impressed. So I can highly recommend the Fashion Squad School. More than worth it!

Amazing program! My daughter is full of joy after every class. And it is not surprising as Layana Aguilar and her assistants are wonderful!. Layana Aguilar is such a positive force- full of energy, smiles and love for the craft and kids! I have seen my daughter develop such confidence and sense of self awareness from this class. Not only does she get to express her creativity , learn a great skill (sewing) and bring home amazing pieces (bags, jackets, dresses)....she learns the whole process of fabric choices, design, collaboration and describing the final product at the fashion show.

My daughter absolutely loves this program!! She has the chance to make clothing that she loves to wear. Layana and her team are warm, nurturing and inspiring. My daughter can explore her creativity and leaves feeling empowered.

Layana’s sewing programs are amazing. My daughter would go every day if I let her. Layana has created such a warm, nurturing and inspiring program. I highly recommend it to any kid who loves to create and express themselves.
