Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon—crowded but still easy to get a table. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a choice of cozy indoor or airy outdoor seating. The staff stood out as exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Fish Soft Shell Tacos (K130) and Korean BBQ Beef Soft Shell Tacos (K120). Both were outstanding—bursting with flavor and perfectly crafted. The fish tacos had a delicate, crispy texture, while the Korean BBQ beef tacos delivered a spicy kick with a well-balanced sauce and great ingredient harmony. Food arrived in about 20 minutes. The only downside was portion size—while the quality is top-tier, the servings felt a bit small for the price. If you’re after bold, memorable flavor and warm service, this place delivers. Just don’t come expecting large portions.

Been here once 2 years ago. It was a no for me. Came here again recently after they rebrand themselves. Well, still a NO! 1. Very long waiting time. Waited for 45 minutes for the food to come. Pizza came first and the tacos came after 2. Food has no flavour. Only flavour comes from sauce. 3. Ordered pizza, asked for Tobasco / Chilli flakes (which a normal restaurant should provide) They don’t have. Waiter offered a homemade chilli sauce which didn’t tell us it needs to be charged. Well, we didn’t complain much about needed to pay for the homemade chilli sauce because the sauce is the saviour of the whole meal.

Their meals and service are always good, especially their pizzas and steaks, but last week I tried their Chickpea Curry and it was excellent! Their chicken parma is also super tasty and super filling. Well balanced flavours. Highly recommend.

Visited the fat chef on Taco 🌮 Tuesday and my family and I were really looking forward to have the taco's on the count that we were having them for the first time. To begin with, the restaurant has a very good ambiance and very welcoming waiters. We made our orders and waited for about 20 to 30 mins and our food came. The taco's were cold and the avocado slices were not fresh and not appetizing unfortunately we didn't enjoy them and failed to eat them. The Fat chef I'd love to try your taco's again but only if everything is prepared fresh and the taco's are warm thank you.

Very cute little restaurant in the heart of EastPark Mall. I really enjoyed the food. I went there for dinner and tried their tacos, sushi, mozzarella balls, lasagna, crispy fried calamari, and cannoli. The sushi and lasagna were by far my favourite. Tacos were also good, just not a fan of the pineapples in them. I found the mozzarella balls a little salty but still enjoyable. The service was decent; it wasn’t too busy either, so our orders were taken quickly, and the food came out on time.

We went on a weekday evening and a service was slow even though there were not many other people. There wasn’t much interesting about the ambiance. The cocktails were really good, tasty and well balanced. The tacos though were not as great as the expected as they lacked flavor. The biltong crusted steak was very tasty though. We had the cannoli for dessert and it was really yummy. Will definitely go back for the drinks though.

Second or third time to try them. I won't again. My coconut curry had zero flavor. The curry must have been forgotten. I would have asked the waiter for some curry powder but they didn't check till I was nearly done. The menu looks good but sad results.

The korean tacos and shrimp tacos were divine went on a Tuesday so got to enjoy a extra free taco the meaty one which was too oily and not a favourite, the malawi shandy was nice to look at but tasted watery , the service was very vert slow took long to get food , the maki rolls were small. Didn't really feel full after the meal so had to get kfc 😕
