The Ferryboat Inn

We went there for wing night, as we entered we were told by a waitress to have a seat.|We waited 30 minutes for anyone to come to our table. |We decided to just order as soon as someone came over.|We waited 45 minutes for our wings. We ordered medium. They brought them over.|We noticed after the waitress left that they were plain and we didn’t get any celery or carrots, getting attention from them was impossible, so we decided to just deal with it and eat them anyway, we didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes for them fix our order.|Then we got the bill, which was wrong, they added a drink which we didn’t order. |Sadly we will never return.

We dined here last night on a Wednesday for their wing night and all I can say is wow. My husband had the wings and I had the French Onion Soup and fries. They were both delicious. The atmosphere at the Ferryboat Inn is super relaxed. The pricing is awesome. We paid $3.00 for a coke where at other establishments we paid $7.00 for the same thing so be very careful. Such a friendly place. We will definitely be back.

The gorgeous view of St. Martin was the best part of our experience. We went for lunch on a Wednesday & were informed that the menu was limited in preparation for their big “wing night.” Despite the fact that we were one of two tables in the restaurant, we waited nearly an hour for our piping hot fried fish burgers served on burnt buns with lukewarm fries & cold “steamed” vegetables. Will not be making a return visit.

It's not just for Wing Wednesday! Great drinks, cold beer, great company!

We had not been back to FBI in years. I am not sure why, but it just did not float to the top of the list. But this trip we have been twice. It is a great laid-back atmosphere and the food is great. The first time there I got the fish sandwich and my wife got the calaloo soup. The I got the FBI burger the second time. Totally recommend any of those.

We enjoyed our stay so much and definitely will be back. The inn is located within walking distance to the ferry from St. Martin. The unit we stayed in was a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, everything was very clean. The only negative is the water pressure in the bedroom bathroom is nearly non-existent but the 2nd bathroom worked perfect. The owner Marjorie is a wonderful woman... by the end of our stay we felt like we were part of the family. Her son, crazy fun cousin and staff were all very nice and attentive to us. The restaurant is not open on Sunday so she left some fruit, cheese and a few other items in our unit for us as we arrived mid- Saturday. The food is very good on site...we really enjoyed the wings and burgers. It is located on a beach but due to the boat traffic it isn't the best beach the island has to offer... Marjorie arranged for a car to be delivered to us the following day so we could take full advantage of what the island had to offer... everything is within a 15 min drive. Plenty of free parking is available right in front of the unit. Staying here was so enjoyable as we were able to hang out with the staff and learn so much about the island... it's a true island experience.... we will be back

Our first time dining at the Ferry Boat. Went for the Monday night butchers burger special. One of the best burgers ever. Didn’t catch his name but the bartender was added entertainment. Made us a tequila cocktail- delicious ( don’t have more than 2) we will definitely be back.
