Lobster Is a Lifestyle on Prince Edward Island

"A dinner-cruise experience based in Souris run by a fishing family where communal, rustic lobster meals are paired with live fiddle music; passengers crack shells at picnic tables while the captain-cook tends a steaming pot, creating a convivial, on-deck atmosphere that celebrates both the work of the fishery and festive coastal tradition." - Wendy Pramik

A lovely spot, great service and excellent food! Some of the best fresh oysters we've ever had, the lobster roll and chowder were also delicious and well portioned.

One of the best meals of my life. Everything we tried on the menu here was amazing. We had chowder (so much lobster in it), lobster dip (my adult kids were still raving about it as we left), loaded fries (something different and awesome), Lobster Dinner (was pre-cracked in all the right places making it easier to eat) was so fresh and tasty - as were all the fix-ins - be sure to dip that tea biscuit in the butter, and the desserts were above and beyond. You gotta eat here!

The food and atmosphere is magnificent. The lobster roll and chowder are excellent 👌🏻. Drinks are good, the only thing is the wait time. It took almost 50 mins from drinks being served to food. Great experience overall and it comes with great view.

What a beautiful restaurant! The interior reminds me of a beach house. The views are breath-taking! I can see why they would host weddings here. The food was excellent, seafood chowder and lobster rolls delicious! Shelly was super interesting to talk to and very knowledgeable about the lobster industry. The cook was friendly too. Such a pleasant lunch! Thank you for making my husband and myself feel so welcomed!

Great spot just entering Souris. Head out to after visiting St. Peters/Greenwich or Basin Head Beach. Great food, beautiful view of the sea. Opt for the flutes of beer as lots of local choices with unique tastes.

We had a wonderful dinner on the patio. The owner and the staff were wonderful, and the food was great. Local ingredients, simple and delicious. And they are dog friendly. Highly, highly recommended!

Family of 5. July 2025. Sat outside. Beautiful view. We had oysters: yum. Lobster dip: Fair Kids had chicken bites: dry. Some were burnt. French fries: soggy, not chrisp or golden. Fish and chips: disappointed. Breaded had burnt spots. Fries, as I said above. Lobster meal. Fair. Was cold, and when I put it in the garlic, butter made my butter cold and clumped up.

Yelp
The staff were really friendly. They have a nice patio which has a great view of the water. The lobster roll was fantastic. The oysters were fresh and meat. The chowder was thick and tasty except it had no chucks of meat or potatoes. The meal and service were good. We will be back

Yelp
Great place to relax with a cocktail outside. Beautiful view of the water from deck. Casual elegance inside. Extremely small menu however. Not very many vegetarian options. Very friendly and professional staff.
