Google
saw the crane wives and it was an AMAZING performance!! as with most venues definitely dress/pack light cus it gets really hot standing with so many people. overall it was a really nice place and the security was handled very well. we did not wait in line for longer than 3 minutes, it was all going very smoothly.

Google
My first time at the Fillmore and Durand did not disappoint! An incredible show, but he is AMAZING! The venue was very nice and orderly. Also nice and cool considering it was a packed house. Great experience overall, including ease of parking and exiting the venue area.

Google
Was here tonight to watch The Crane Wives. The lines, security and entrance was so well managed by their very attentive staff. The Venue itself was as well, the staff was readily available for questions, kept the audience within boundaries (kindly) during the concert, helped keep the extensive line to the merch table in lanes that didn't interfere with the crowd or access to the bar and were quick to show presence when things were starting to get unruly, not interfering, just being near so the crowd calmed down once eyes were on them... Very well handled. Absolutely recommend The Fillmore as a safe venue to enjoy a show, even if the show is sold out and the building is at capacity, will definitely be back

Google
This place is great!!! Went to see imminence in concert here and the place was great. The far staff The bathrooms were clean. The color schemes were amazing. The space It was a rock concert, so the type of crowd that was there wasn't something I really experienced before, but they were all excellent people. Most people were kind. It was a great experience if they have concerts there shows there. I recommend.Did you go experience this place for yourself, there's also other places around underground. Is there? I think it's some? Type of club There were people outside playing volleyball, big, huge volleyball pit. AmazingThat's all I like to say

Google
Will say from start, would give 5 star but getting in very long and slow process. Inside nice, several bars think 6 to get drinks from if not more. Like how floor has sections that are raised as you go back so everyone can see. Plenty of urinals in men's room, very suprised. Will be back now that I know where and how this place is.

Google
I’ve been to many venues in my life and I love this one so much, there’s lots of room yet it feels more intimate too. I’ve seen two really great concerts here and I had some of the best times at both. Thank you!

Google
Nice small venue. Employees were really nice.parking was reasonable. Saw I C P there; made the show very personal.

We purchased "pre show" passes, vip club, and fast lane. The "pre show" was HORRIBLE! We were in an area outside with no music or anything close to a "pre-show". The worst part was after paying for this at one point we were locked out of the bathrooms by security. When we were finally allowed in it was past doors open and General Admission was let in at the same time. Otherwise once we got in we liked the venue and all of the staff were friendly and helpful, one even offered a refund (we did not take it, everyone who bought preshow should have been refunded!). Somebody should fix the "Pre-Show" or clarify what it actually is! It was like being in a jail!

Yelp
Great venue for concerts, galas, exercise events - you name it, they've done it and done it well. There's plenty of bars so you can always be sure to find a drink for whatever event you're attending. Lots of bathrooms so you don't have to wait in a long line and typically always very clean. It's a small, intimate venue - so if there's an artist you want to see, go do it! I'd recommend VIP, as you'll have a nicer view. If you don't get VIP, get there early to get a good spot because it is standing room only and no reserved standing room outside of the VIP section, which is elevated.

Yelp
The Fillmore - Theft Not even worth one star. BE WARNED!!! If you purchase anything from the bar, be sure to check your bank, or credit card accounts for any unauthorized transactions. Last month November 2024, my husband and I attended a concert at The Fillmore Charlotte. My husband purchased ONE drink from the bar, however, upon viewing my bank account the next day, I saw that we were charged for FOUR (4) drinks instead of ONE!! The total came to $53.59, when it should have only been $22.73. I immediately reached out to the venue to inform them of the unauthorized transactions. I received a response from the GM, Courtney Ezell. She asked for the last four-digits of my credit card that was used (it was actually my debit card). I provided her with the information. The following was her response and final decision: "These charges are not duplicates and are all ordered at different times. We don't keep credit cards on file at any of our GA bars, which is where these charges were made. Normally if it is a fraudulent charge or misring, they are all rang up within a minute of each other. This is not the case. The drinks were ordered at different times. I cannot refund them. I am sending the receipts of all the checks". I was in disbelief!! The only thing those receipts showed were the drinks that were charged to my bank account. Of which THREE (3) were UNAUTHORIZED!!! They apparently have a bartender in their employment who is a thief. Those receipts also showed the Clerk ID numbers! That's right -- plural. The clerk who rang up my husband's drink, was NOT the same clerk who rang up the (3) unauthorized transactions! We were seated to the left of the bar, and I watched as the first clerk rang up my husband's ONE drink. He never returned to the bar, and I don't drink. During the period the (3) drinks were ordered at different times, my husband and I were in our seats. I told the GM to review video footage from that night, showing neither of us were at the bar AFTER the first transaction. The Fillmore raped my bank account of $53.59. That money was already earmarked for medication and gas. We will NEVER return to the venue. I exposed this in detail, in order to warn others. I imagine this is not the first time that theft by an employee has occurred. Remember Ms. Ezell's words, "Normally if it is a fraudulent charge or misring, they are all rang up within a minute of each other...". NORMALLY??!! So now theft is the "norm" at The Fillmore? Theft is NEVER acceptable. The GM never refunded me. Shameful. Keep an eye on your accounts if you ever attend an event at the venue, and make purchases. Outrageously unbelievable -- as if their prices aren't already through the roof!! Now you have to monitor theft.

Yelp
I've been going to the Fillmore for years and seen many artists here. It'd been a while though. Parking was easy. The line moved fast with staff checking ID's while we waited. The bar line was short and service was quick. The sound was great. It was packed but that's to be expected at any show. The VIP looks amazing and I'll definitely be splurging next time I go to a show here.

Jennifer E.

Yelp
Came here for a concert. It's been years since I've been here, and it has changed quite a bit. Now, the whole process of getting checked in went swiftly and smoothly. Everyone was super polite and knowledgeable. This is standing admission, so if you want to secure a good spot on the floor, you must arrive early. If not, you're really out of luck. We arrived and got in about 7:50pm, and we were out of luck. There was no way we could get into the space to try to even find a good spot. Now they put green tape where you have to be inside off so that walkways can be clear for when people need to go to the restroom or anywhere. We ended up updraging to VIP just so we could get a spot and sit down. It is further away, but you still get a good view. You're just not as close as you may want to be. Overall, it's not a bad location.

Donna L.

Yelp
Had my jobs Christmas party here. The space is a great event space. You can do a lot with it. There were also good accessibility to bar area that was great. Stage is well positioned. They is also an outdoor space that was utilized. The bathrooms were clean. The coat check in stations were centrally located to the exit and entrance. Parking does suck so you might want to uber or you'll be walking.

Hailey H.

Yelp
Okay I've been here several times in the past 5 years but for some reason last night was the best experience yet! The staff from box office, to bar, to security were all SO FRIENDLY and on their stuff all night! Mars (our bartender) was so sweet and helped us stay hydrated all night :) I have to give the biggest shout out to security though- they went above and beyond to make sure to keep everyone safe during mosh pits and even helped people (including me) crowd surf safely to the other side. When a fight broke out they tried to calm the guy down without laying a finger on him. Well done yall. Can't wait for my next show!

Lakisha M.

Yelp
The Fillmore is always a nice vibe when there's an intimate concert in town. There's at least 4 or 5 bars located throughout the venue. The huge chandeliers are my fave about this place, gives vintage!! There is limited seating but I'm guessing if you purchase VIP tickets or handicap seating tickets that's your best bet to getting a seat otherwise this place is standing room only. But I don't have a problem with that,,,just wear comfortable shoes. My one gripe with The Fillmore is when purchasing drinks they do not provide straws and I hate that. I did remember that from the last event and this time oh a girl was prepared. I brought two cocktail straws from home for my friend and myself. We sipped and danced the night away...like Ladies

Sinead D.

Yelp
Love this venue! We just saw a show there and it was easy to see the stage and the bathrooms were clean. The best part though was the bar staff! Hash, Nick and Liz really made the experience. I'd go back just for them!

Chelle P.

Yelp
I had the best time seeing 6lack last night!! The atmosphere and vibes were so great! 6lack, Quin, & Jordan were fantastic the sound the music selection everything was A one! This was my first experience at the Fillmore but it definitely won't be my last! The only thing I would say is get there early or if possible get a fast pass ( I know I will next time) just so you can get a closer spot to the front. It's pretty small and fills up fast !

Kriss D.

Yelp
Always a great concert experience! Latest concert was DVSN and because I totally fan girled I will say the whole experience was 10/10. Getting drinks isn't ever a problem, might have to wait a few minutes but it's never a struggle to get to the bar. I actually tried their food for the first time that night as well and the tenders were really good! Fries were hot and it was a great quick meal!

Hanaa K.

Yelp
Friendly staff. I signed up for ADA seating and found out none of the staff have any idea about it and allowed anyone to sit there at any time. Defeated the purpose of leaving my information to reserve seats. ADA could have been handled better. You have to go up a small section of stairs to get to the area and then it's a maze once inside. I'm glad I didn't bring my walker. The bathroom and food are on the opposite end and you have to have to go down and up stairs again to use the restroom. The whole ADA set up seems more like a facade to appear to be complaint than to actually be helpful for us that need it. I will say it's much better than the Silver Spring location. They did clear the walkways and stairwell and I was able to see the concert until the last two shows. People were standing on the stairwells and all over by the bar area so the only way I could see was by standing. He actually went away to get a clear view several times and not everyone disabled has that luxury. They need to do a better job with signage and letting us know which line is for what. There's another club with another concert happening at the same location and they have a fast lane and VIP but nothing to say where general admission is. And people were in wrong lines causing confusion because there was no one there to tell us otherwise. The venue has their own VIP not a part of the performer's VIP upgrade. I found out that all lines are on the left of the building and general admission is on the inside of the two parts. Inside there are no signs explaining which section is for what. The ADA section is the only one clearly marked albeit the difficulty going to and from there. Bathrooms were OK. Pretty standard cleanliness as most bars. No toilet paper by the end of the second band and doesn't appear to have been cleaned at all. We parked on the street so I don't recommend paying extra for VIP parking because I still haven't figured out where that might be and why you'd pay if street parking is free. This location is hands down better than silver spring. Excellent sound system and overall a good experience. Add some more signs and give the disabled people an accessible experience starting with a nearby bathroom. You have to climb stairs for everything; even buying merch. I didn't hate the venue. I think they need to make some improvements for the ADA community and believe it would be 5 stars if they did.

Yelp
I was so excited to check this venue out as we were seeing Masego on his "You Never Visit Me Tour"! It was freezing (sub 50's) in April, the day of the concert, so I recommend checking the weather and preparing accordingly. We were standing outside and waiting for a while to get into the venue. We got here an hour early and we're still in the back of the line. Inside the venue was nice with a few places to get food and drinks before and during the show. I recommend getting there early as this venue is general admission and standing only and this place gets PACKED!! The show itself was amazing and I had a great view of the artist! If Masego comes in town again I highly recommend checking out The Fillmore!

Megan R.

Yelp
The pros: there's a large parking lot across the street so parking is easy to find. The cons: parking isn't free anymore, drinks are absurdly expensive, they oversell tickets and the venue gets packed easily, bathroom attendants LOOK AT YOU THROUGH THE STALLS while you're taking care of business (zero privacy), security is a bit overbearing - taking any little item that they can even remotely pretend fits in their prohibited list. I could go on forever, but it seems pretty obvious that a lot of artists aren't choosing the Fillmore when they pass through Charlotte these days. I'll be making the drive to Raleigh for artists when given the choice just to avoid this place. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Jayme H.

Yelp
Just as many of the other reviews mention, this venue is crowded af. I'm an avid concert goer, I understand crowds getting tight and I think I have a pretty good idea of what's a typical tight crowd and what's just way too much. This was way too much. To be fair, I was there for a sold out show. We expected there to be a ton of people there. What I didn't expect was the staff pushing the crowd into the center from all sides, despite people being squashed on top of each other. I get that they want to keep the aisles clear, but be realistic. Heaven forbid my foot goes over a line on the floor as I'm trying to get some air. That was annoying and something I've never experienced at a show this size. Other than that the sound was good, drink prices were what I expected (high), and I had a good time. I'd have to really love the artist to come back, though.

Brandie H.

Yelp
Food options are good, service was great, the atmosphere is outstanding, the process of getting in has been seamless both times we have attended an event this fall, this is a standing room only venue, VIP sections have first come first serve seating options if you paid for the VIP package. Bathrooms are usually very clean, alcohol and non alcoholic beverages are available. Parking is pretty convenient as well

Haven S.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE - if you are assaulted staff does NOTHING, genuinely disgusting and disgraceful I have never been to a venue that shows that little respect for patrons & the law. - over sell tickets so it's crazy packed and they overcharge for drinks. - getting in can be a nightmare, maybe instead of being upset with people who have chains on their outfits you should kick out people who grope others...

Tiarra T.

Yelp
Visited the Filmore for a DVSN concert. The venue was clean, well lite, and good food. We purchased the VIP rail seating, and it was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was we purchased our tickets way in advance for VIP, however when we arrived we had to wait in line at VIP while the continued to sale VIP tickets to last minute patrons. At least 10-15 minutes of waiting. Longer than getting into the venue. Very inconvenient. My suggestion is have a line for pre-purchased tickets and a line for VIP sake tickets. Overall, I enjoyed the concert and the drinks.

Brett S.

Yelp
Without question, the worst music venue in Charlotte. And it keeps getting worse. Exorbitant ticket prices and fees. Drinks you can only afford if you put them on a payment plan. Oversold and dangerously crowded. Lines to get in often around the block because of slow staff and ID checking. They even have the nerve to walk up and down the line offering a chance to skip the line for another $30 per person. To add insult to injury, they have now placed more VIP tables in what used to be optimum viewing spots. And don't even think about standing in the taped off area for more than a second without security pushing you along. Awful experience. I'm sad that many of the bands I love choose to play there.

Dan S.

Yelp
Horrible venue. The sound is fine but the whole package is a rip off. Do NOT buy the VIP package. All you get is nothing more than a bar rail to lean on to wash the show that is elevated a little above the main floor. You can get just as fast to the bar on either side of the place as you can to the VIP lounge. They charge $50 for two people just for these passes but they are not worth it. $7 for a Miller Lite. I wanted to give a update to what I posted above. After attending the show my credit card company called and Red flagged a tip that I had left at The Filmore. I noticed a tip amount of $19 for a $40 tab. This was NOT what I left especially after my experience.

Marissa B.

Yelp
Worst "VIP" experience ever. Was really looking forward to the show and this experience has been one of the worst I've ever had.

Allie C.

Yelp
Employees are rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. We asked them questions about where to go and they were extremely rude and kicked us out even though we had VIP tickets and had paid to meet and greet. Band we saw was great but the venue and staff was 1/10 would not recommended to others looking for a venue in the future. There are better venues in the area.

Jason G.

Yelp
I've attended hundreds of concerts throughout my life in big and small venues. I liked CHVRCHES on Saturday a lot, but this venue wasn't great. It was very difficult to find even with GPS. The streets simply didn't exist where it said they were. I eventually asked somebody for directions at the gas station and he had me follow him there. I didn't like having to pay $10 for parking with my phone. It was very easy to do though. The parking lot is about a half mile away from the venue and there are actually a few lots. It was crowded inside and difficult to get toward the stage. People seemed to be distancing a little and they never pushed up. Some people were sitting. There was a mixture of old and young people, gay and straight. One employee told me they allowed reentry, so I went outside for a few minutes. When I returned I let the woman scan my ticket on my device like before, but she said I was already in and they didn't allow reentry. I pointed to the guy behind her that just told me they did and she let me back in. Walking to the bathroom was a big ordeal. It is on the other side of the entrance. I had to walk through a crowd, then down a big ramp and it's not chill at all. I needed TP for earplugs because it was very loud. I don't think the band cared for the people or the venue. They said nothing on their social media account afterwards instead focusing on their next shows in Washington, D.C. The crowd was all white people that didn't dance and barely had a pulse, but they were ok. This was just an average venue. There was nothing particularly great or memorable about it. It was my first concert in several years, but I liked my second concert a lot better two days later down the street at Amos' Southend.

Adam M.

Yelp
Great venue. Great atmosphere. Overall a good time. Only complaint would be paying $5+ for water at the bar.

Suzanne S.

Yelp
Went to see Heather Land here and was so pleasantly surprised at the coolness of the place! Several counters to get refreshments and just small enough to feel intimate for shows. I was so charmed by the chandeliers in the place paired with the industrial look. Really enjoyed my time here.

D. T.

Yelp
Venue still continues to suck, as absolutely no good artists are ever booked here now. Employees have ego trips and rules aren't applied equally. Parking, safety, and security have also come into question over the last few years. Restrooms are always nasty too.

Rose E.

Yelp
I've only been to The Fillmore once before several years ago, so almost forgot how nice this venue was! Big, lofty space (with pretty chandeliers!)...friendly, fairly quick bar service...and good, clean sound system. Possibly the only downside was the long, disorganized ticketing/entry line process. Still, overall, probably my fave music venue in town. Best of all, I loved the cool, sedate scene. Meaning, no rowdy folks screaming and hollering, spilling booze everywhere, puking, shoving and stepping on each other. We saw Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac cover band...so it could be this specific crowd of Fleetwood Mac fans (mostly over 40's?), but it was a very chill, mellow scene...despite the fact that the house was packed (sold out show). We also got lucky...in that we were able to sit in one of the VIP sections for the whole night since the VIP party didn't show up! BTW, the cover band (Rumours) was quite good...worth checking out. Almost forgot how much I liked Fleetwood Mac (especially Stevie Nicks)...and how truly original they were! Definitely plan on returning to this kick-ass venue to see a few more bands.

Lauri N.

Yelp
Great venue great staff!! The sound is great and parking easy and I look forward to shows there. Great food at the Mexican restaurant also

Sydney D.

Yelp
This place sucks they have the worst security and parking I've ever seen. They are extremely discriminatory and disrespectful to concert goers. 10/10 would not recommend seeing any shows at this venue. Also don't pay for vip bc you have a worse experience than the people that don't.

Mary E.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me 5 years of living in Charlotte to get to a show at the Fillmore. I finally went down to check out The Cadillac Three. Fun venue! There is plenty of parking in and around the Music Factory area and it's even easier to get dropped off out front by Uber. Beer lines were manageable ($8-13 Bud Lights, but hey, what'd you expect). The sound and lights were all great and The Cadillac Three put on a great show. 'Looking forward to getting back here.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
This is a nice venue located in the music factory area. The night that I went to parking was five dollars for cash and six dollars if you pay by card you parked it outside lot or in a deck if you chose. This area is a standing situation. They do offer seats, but they're limited and you have to do an advance notification plus payment. I came to see the Michael Jackson event. The opening act was very lengthy. They took over an hour almost an hour and a half. The show was nice once they started to sing his songs. I was surprised at the opening act didn't sing songs closer to the genre or that era in music. The bartenders were nice and able to make drinks of your selection. I didn't see a lot of presence pertaining security or police. There are several restrooms available which was nice. Nice place to try. Enjoy!

Ana A.

Yelp
Learn from my mistake and never attend a concert here. I am in disbelief. I had already seen the bad reviews of this place on Google, but really wanted to go to this concert so I overlooked it and bought tickets. I have never experienced security people this intense, rude, and on a power trip. They were enforcing every tiny rule to an extreme, yelling at people, grabbing people, and just overall some of the worst, most intense people I have ever met. This one employee especially, I think he may have been the head of security? He was this very short bald guy. He was extremely rude and ended up kicking us out of the venue because I let my boyfriend who had forgotten his ID hold my drink. We then Uber'd back to the hotel, got his ID to prove his age, and he wouldn't even look at the ID and said we were banned from stepping foot on the property. It was insane and we didn't get refunded for the $160 we spent to see this concert. NEVER go here. I never have had issues with security or anything like that, never expected this to happen to us. It could happen to you too. Just see your concert somewhere else.

D B.

Yelp
Would leave a 0 if I could. Horrible experience. Corruptly overpriced bottom shelf liquors and beer. VIP and upgrade packages are falsely advertised and are a total scam. The VIP section is obstructed view that you pay more than double for to not even get a seat. Very unprofessional and indifferent staff. Definitely the worst concert I have ever been to which is a shame because the acoustics were decent. The venue experience counter acted the actual show and put a bad taste on the entire evening.

Michael D.

Yelp
First time here. I was impressed with staff ! Bartender was great. Drinks are high but it is a music venue just like others so there you go. Saw Steve Vai there and it was so good. Sound was great not sure if off house system or tour rig but it was spot on. Easy to get out of but a little hard to find. People that run this place know how run it well! Inside was comfortable and a great place to see your favorite act in an intimate place.

Jon L.

Yelp
My first time here to see Thievery Corp with K. We had the 'fast lane' tix for the additional $10 bucks they got us in early since this is a GA venue. We didn't purchase the Premium Seat option in advance but once we arrived we learned there are high top tables with stools that can be purchased for $120 bucks each so we took that option. You get a wrist band that allows you access to the private potties and also a private bar though you do have a dedicated server as well. They acoustic are good and the room is set up nicely. They have a great staff that are helpful and overall I thought it was a good experience. I was a little disappointed with the limited wine by the glass selections. There is a nearby parking deck but Uber has access right at the front door.

Kenny R.

Yelp
Uhg, I just can't do it anymore. I went to a show over the weekend, knowing it was sold out(oversold) I bought VIP passes. Only to get inside and have them tell me that they couldn't honor my VIP passes as they had over sold it as well. That seems like fraud to me as they didn't offer a refund. As to other's who say it isn't overcrowded, I think they've gone to a different venue or have just not gone to a sold out show there. On top of all this, the basic layout is just horrible. Security is overkill at the door, security is overkill if you "step on the line". The bathrooms are hidden in the back corner behind the stage. The beer lines are atrocious and the beers over priced. There really isn't much good about this place except their ability to pull good acts.

Roberto Y.

Yelp
I went to Fillmore for the first time to watch Who's Bad a Tribute to Michael Jackson. The place is nice and not too big which allows to have a close view of the artist. Unless you buy the VIP to tickets you will be standing. Depending on the show this situation might not be suitable for all type of shows as you cannot see the lower part of the stage. The stage is too low. In my case I could not see some of the dance moves of the artist interpreting Michael Jackson. Drinks are very expensive. I paid $13 for a vodka mule. Staff is courteous. Overall is a nice venue to have a good time.

Suzanne A.

Yelp
What a great night. Last night went to "WHO'S BAD - MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE BAND" at the Fillmore. Great concert great venue. While they checked everyone The line wasn't too long. They checked IDs outside and put a band on you if you intended to drink alcohol inside. This made it so much faster at the bar! They had 3 or 4 bars open, and a coat check area. No matter where you stood you had a great view of the stage. I will definitely come here again.

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
This is one of Charlotte's major music venues. It's the biggest indoor venue other than the arena. I've previously come here for many concerts. It's q pretty good venue. The tiered standing area is nice to make it easier to see if you're not in the front. The other cool thing is that there's a lot of non-music events hosted here as well. Most recently I was here for the Charlotte BOB awards party. It was a great location for that too. Unfortunately, since Avid Exchange took over the music favorite, you now have to pay for parking. It's $5. If you're a music fan and concert goer, you're bound to wind up here.

Mori T.

Yelp
Overpriced drinks aren't even the biggest issue here- glad they have more variety than other venues but the poor acoustics, RIDICULOUS overcrowding and awful security staff don't outweigh that. They made my partner throw away my vape, cigarettes and umbrella. I'll go to any other venue next time and suggest you do too even if it's the next stop on the tour, fuck ever coming back to the Fillmore

Angela T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Always great music! Never had a bad time. Do wish they had better AC for these hot summer nights when the place is full

A J.

Yelp
Great venue in the heart of the music factory. Lots of parking options around that feel safe. Staff is cool and bartenders are super friendly. Drinks are very very expensive. A Truly and a old neck copper was $23. Our food for two and bottled waters were cheaper. The VIP options are plentiful aNd prices okay perr person. We had seats and a table in the center by the sound boards and loved them for The Who's Bad Michael Jackson experience show.

Yelp
Surfaces was AWESOME!! Loved everything except from the fact when I was leaving one of the staff yanked my SPRITE from my hands and trashed it without saying anything to me AT ALL. I would understand if he SAID something to me or if anyone said anything about me not being able to walk out with my soda, but no one said a word to me. It was rude and unprofessional and totally uncalled for. forever missing my soda :(

Yelp
They shut down the show. Weak venue and they are super annoying. I will not be coming back

Yelp
I don't usually write reviews but had the worst experience with a bartender I've ever had last night. I was in line to order drinks and saw some empty cups sitting on the bar and thought I'd help out and throw them away. Looked around and didn't see a trash can, and walked to the corner (not behind) of the bar and she started screaming at me "don't you EVER come behind a bar", I had already turned around to go look for a trashcan somewhere else... And I had gotten out of line to do all of this. I apologized over and over, said I was going to find one somewhere else to toss them, tried to tell her I was not some drunk jerk - that I was just trying to help, and she just kept berating me about it. I ended up telling her I didn't want to argue with her and just walked away. I go to a lot of shows so I've been here probably 100 times at this point, and I've never written a review. You guys finally earned this one from me. The constantly oversold shows didn't do it for me, the overpriced shitty drinks didn't do it for me, the overzealous security didn't do it for me.... The bartender with a complex did.

Yelp
i don't even know where to start but let's try. My main problem is the LINES BEFORE THE VENUE STARTS, fast lane, vip package, and ga should all be separate lines. But we asked workers 3 hours before our concert started where we should stand and she said three lines. Then a man with a mustache can out and told us that vip and fast lane should line up together. Resulting in the people who had been waiting all day in fast lane to get up and get to the back of the vip line. Then they finally get it right and say that there should be three line, which it doesn't even matter because people who had been there since 3 got skipped because they messed it all up. This venue is a waist of time. Even one of the workers said that they always have it confused in the front.

Yelp
VIP package is a scam. Spent extra $40 on a $25 ticket and had worse view of the stage, not to mention: no seating, ticket not included, private bar and bathroom (i'll wait and keep the money next time), but the seller in their ad is: "More room to enjoy the show". Oh there was more room: about 30sq ft of it, and it was only roomy because only 10 other suckers fell for it like i did. But the location of the room was unbelievable - it went from directly stage right at the front of the venue (i was even with the drummer) about 15 ft before the "real" vip area started - Barstools with a great view for only $60 more, and tables behind them that another patron said ran $100! So go to the Fillmore for a great band, pay double for extra room, and even more expensive upsells if you want to be comfortable or only see the one member of the band that is stage-right.

Yelp
Went there for a concert. Acoustics were good. There were a good amount of bars. There is seating area in the VIP and non VIP areas. There are three different levels; that way you can still see if you are in the back. If you're thinking of buying the VIP, unless the place is sold out or you constantly need to use the restroom, you don't really need it. I would say the same for the fast pass: unless you get there late like I did, you don't really need it. Very strict when getting into the building, but super lax once you're inside the building. Didn't buy alcohol, so I don't really know anything about that. It is very much a "could be better, could be worse" kinda place. There is parking, but you have to pay like $12

Yelp
I attended my first concert at this venue a few days ago. We purchased our tickets online and again, had never been to the venue before so we didn't know what to expect. When we arrived it became apparent that there was a huge empty VIP/Members Only section. The venue was packed like sardines but this huge section was totally empty. So I inquired with the staff who were letting people into this section as to how I could upgrade my ticket and PAY more money to be allowed into this section. The staff member handed me a business card for kleamiho@livenation.com. They told me to email this person to purchase the VIP tickets. Well let me tell you, we stood there for five hours and after several emails, I never received a response. And guess what? That VIP/members only section stayed nice and empty the entire time. I was willing to pay an additional $50 per person to upgrade but I will probably never find out how much these mystery tickets even cost. Perhaps it's a scam. We will never know!

Yelp
This was my first visit at the Fillmore. I did my research beforehand and knew that it was a standing venue. There was limited "VIP" seating. I dressed comfortably and was excited to see Brandy. The venue is spacious and it has a nice bar. I realize now why I prefer not to attend general admission shows without seats. I'm average height, but it seemed like all the giants rushed to the front. My view was decent, but it wasn't the best. I arrived an hour before the show started. If you want a view that isn't obstructed, I suggest you arrive when the doors open.
