Friendly staff!! We arrived extremely early to get in line for our favorite band. The first staff members were really nice. The place is beautiful.

Wowwww amazing I went to see the concert of my favorite band The Rose and I found the stage excellent, in addition to the drink bar inside the establishment

First time at this venue and we weren't disappointed! Thanks for a great theater to see good music and have some great drinks! We will be back. 💖

Def. Lacks in lines organization and directives, we were left many times wondering where to and how to get around. Overall a great venue for a more intimate show.

The Filmore is a cool venue for concerts. Can get a little crazy but still one of the best options in south Florida especially for smaller artists! I don’t like how they do their General admission. I’m moving forward would rather buy seats.

This review is for 7/29/25: the venue is getting one star simply because of one of their security officers. I assume he is also head of security by the way he was dressed but I’m not sure. Anyway, I understand the need to be vigilant and make sure safety procedures are followed but he was way too aggressive and on a power trip. Also, he did not take the time to coordinate with the artist’s staff to understand that everyone waiting outside were there for early merch access. Doing so should would have given him and his team ample time to prepare and have the metal detectors up and running.

I visited the other night for the 25th Anniversary of Moon Safari performed by AIR. This place is in serious need of refurbishment. The restrooms were half-working and had trash bags covering broken toilets and urinals. Now, the Stardust lounge amenities were clean and nice, but if you didn't pay extra to get in there, you would never know that. The food in the lounge was subpar and definitely not worth the extra money. I did appreciate that it was small and we could hold a conversation. I also liked that it was not oversold in there. Everyone had plenty of room to relax before the show. Once we did take our seats, my armrest was literally hanging off! I was absolutely shocked that this was just left unrepairable like this. It's just sad to see such an iconic venue falling apart and coming up short on so many levels.

At first I was a little disappointed Porter Robinson’s original venue in Miami changed to The Fillmore, but it worked out. Thankful for the free water dispenser on the first and second floors. The water fountains were out of order. The air conditioning is also quite powerful. Loved the view I had in the seating area— wanted to be in the standing room only portion, but wasn’t sure how my ticket would work for that. Plenty of staff and security, as well as people working the bars.

Yelp
haven't been here in years.. glad to see that its still open. came to see the clipse and we had a great time. heads up hard liquor prices are high even for south beach... got 3 drinks and it came out to $109 with tip :-O aside from the initial sticker shock from that... had a good time. multiple bars throughout the venue and its easy getting in and out of the concert hall. they also have food options. saw those that did get food... were getting personal pizzas. what i like about the Fillmore is the many parking options around the concert hall. looking forward to my next visit as it seems they have a lot of programming in the coming months.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this venue. It's the perfect size for more of an intimate spacious experience. Inside is well organized with a bar straight ahead and souvenirs off to the left hand side to keep things moving. There's staggering there for any help.yoi need or to let you know where to go. Once inside the space the seating was comfy enough but once the concert started there was no seating thes rest of the night. I loved looking up and seeing the big beautiful chandelier as well. If you're on the floor there was a bar riggt off in the cut but the seating area had to walk out for snacks and drinks but no biggie. I didn't need to use the restroom but that's also located on the side where you exit from Valet is in the front but I suggest the garage parking across the street which is cheaper and a 5 minute walk at the most. I saw Jessie's Reyez perform and it was absolutely amazing!!!

Yelp
The Fillmore is a heck of a theater. I have been for many shows over the years. The show I have seen the most would be "Brit Floyd". They were in town again last weekend and I was happy to catch them once again. It's a great location. There is a huge parking ramp a couple blocks away. That ramp usually empty's pretty quick after a show. It's right near Lincoln so easy to grab a pre-drink or diner before the show or after. And of course it has the South Beach vibes. We walked into the beatiful theater this past weekend. Security is always quick, and there are plenty of bars so never a wait to grab a beverage. It was a great show, in a great space. It's simple in design, but has a classic elegant design. It was a great show with great service in a nice spot, as always. It's a bit of a drive to make it down there, but always worth it.

Yelp
Opened in 1957 along with the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall, the Fillmore Miami Beach was originally called the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium. This theatre became famous as the home to many television variety shows, including the Dick Clark Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, and the third revival of The Jackie Gleason Show in 1964. During this Golden Age Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Jack Benny were regular visitors. In the 1970s, the auditorium was renovated by Morris Lapidus and renamed Miami Beach Theater of the Performing Arts. Touring Broadway shows that performed here included Angela Lansbury in Gypsy. Eartha Kitt in Timbuktu, Robert Goulet in Carousel, and Debbie Allen in West Side Story. Memorable performances in the 1980's included pianist Vladimir Horowitz, Itzhak Perlman, and Rudolf Nureyev and Broadway productions like My Fair Lady starring Rex Harrison), Sugar Babies starring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, and Cabaret starring Joel Gray. In 1987, the City of Miami Beach renamed the building the The Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts to honor the contributions of Jackie Gleason. The 1990's brought performances of Rent, Phantom of the Opera and Riverdance, along with performances by Marc Anthony, El Puma and the Gypsy Kings, Tony Bennett, Liza Minelli, Seal, and Lenny Kravitz. In 2006, Live Nation Entertainment acquired the venue, gave it a multimillion dollar refurbishment and branded it with the historic name The Fillmore. Today the theatre is part of the Miami Convention Center complex. The historic art deco space features an elegant main hall, three lobbies, and two smaller club rooms. You can enjoy some of the world's greatest musical entertainment with state-of-the-art lighting and sound or rent it out for private events with custom created menus with food and drinks. I have attended many memorable events at this theatre through the years and I look forward to many more.

Yelp
This is by far My favorite concert venue in Miami- I've attended many great shows and have always had a great experience! No matter where you sit, or stand you will most likely have a great view of the stage. Acoustics are pretty nice as well. Plenty of bars thru the facility, & You have the option of ordering from your seat, and then pick up at the bar w/o wait. Plenty of parking options available, theres the 17th street parking garage, street parking and valet.

Yelp
What a b beautiful venue that shares fun vibes, in a more intimate setting. I've had the pleasure of attending two concerts at The Fillmore--Feid a couple of years ago and, most recently, The Marías for the Submarine tour. This venue never disappoints! The seating is great, offering an intimate setting where you can truly enjoy the show no matter where you're seated. The entrance process is usually smooth, and there's ample space if you have floor tickets. Plus, the drinks and bar section add to the vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're there for a big name or an up-and-coming artist, The Fillmore is always a great time!

Yelp
I haven't been here in years and it's great to see there are updates. I came for a concert and I loved the interior design. It appears to be maintained. The staff were abundant and visible. Kept the walkways clear. I did not purchase any drinks as I just came from a happy hour nearby. There seemed to be more than one bar area though.

Yelp
First time here and venue is nice. We went to see TEMS the vibe was great. Seats are cozy. The only reason I'm going it 3 stars is because the smell of cigarettes is awful. Im not sure if it's a smoking venue but if not they should really restrict the smoking. It was unbearable. Other than that staff was helpful and every seat has a good view to the stage
google avatar

Yelp
The worst guest services team. Instead of checking tickets and ushering people to their seats just outside the theater doors when they need to find their seats the ushers were doing it on the concert floor inside the doors of the actual theater. So for the first hour of the Sting 3.0 show all I could hear was the ushers talking about the seats. When I asked when they were going to close the doors they said they would once everyone was seated. I do not recommend any seats near the doors. The worst.
google avatar

Alejandro M.

Yelp
If I could give this venue a negative review I would who sells tickets for GA and makes you sit in seats. This venue is meant for phantom of the opera not Ken Carson either way Ken the goat Fillmore sucks
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
General Admission tickets mean that if you don't get there right when they open the doors and get a wristband to be in the front General Admission area then you have to sit down in theater chairs. This feels like a school assembly and not a concert. I wish this was communicated better. And also, there's A LOT of room in the GA standing area but they don't have anymore wristbands so relegated to the seats we are.

Yelp
cutesy venue!! easy process to get inside for the show, it didn't take too long at all! such a beautiful show last night from mitski!!!!

Yelp
The interior of the auditorium is beautiful. It has a balcony and holds over 2000 but still has an intimate feel, The exterior is less noteworthy but fits in Miami Beach with a deco style. I attended a show there recently and the valet parking ticketing was disorganized as they had to print out a paper ticket because the app wouldn't display the QR code so I had to walk to the ticket office to get that. The issue may have been with the Live Nation App. I added the tickets to my phone but the parking one still wouldn't display a QR code. Then once inside they reduced the seating area and one person informed me my seat would move ahead and I would have to get a new ticket from another employee. When I went to get the new ticket the other employee wasn't aware of that and thought I randomly wanted to change my seat and said she couldn't do that just because I didn't like my seat. Lol. How long have they been doing this? It was disorganized. When I entered the theater I had a pair of binoculars and the attendant (they were not listed on their website as not allowed) had to go check if they were allowed, which they were and it was OK. You'd think they would know this beforehand. I had Stardust level tickets and it included a nice private bar with appetizers. The bartender and staff were friendly.

Yelp
The Fillmore doesn't look all that exciting from the outside, but once you're inside it's something else again. The décor is stunning, colorful and dramatic. It lends itself perfectly to a fun time event. As it is mostly used for musical events, I've found the acoustics to rather good and as it is actually one of the smaller of such venues every seat is a good seat. For concerts they also do a rather good job of have available snacks and drinks with enough staff in order to avoid long lines. And speaking of long lines, those to get in for some events can really be long. Fortunately The Filmore has a good lawn space one can enjoy while waiting. The Filmore is also within reasonable distance of larger facilities of municipal parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Pros: Lovely chandeliers, multiple bars, multiple clean bathrooms, outdoor area, great for shows and concerts. Security is always friendly, plenty of police presence, which is needed nowadays. They also sell some snacks and food, happy to see arepas as an option. Cons: The drinks are EXPENSIVE, $20-30 bucks for a double shot. $6 for a water. I get they have to make a profit but it feels like robbery.

Yelp
5 stars for Mitski!!! I'm pretty tall though and the leg room was NOT enough everything else was grea.

Yelp
Beautiful Miami Beach landmark with 1940's decor. We have been to this venue to several events and the policy is quite different then of a true arts center venue: can bring beverages inside. Second, some events there are people coming selling beers during the performance. Third, it's not a large venue, so it's easier to locate your friends if you get separated for any reason. Third, there are several public garages around. Fourth, there are several places around to get a bit to eat before or after any performance.
google avatar

Uyen N.

Yelp
Honestly, from the outside, it looks.. questionable. But the inside is really cute and "antique" looking. It was a little difficult to navigate around the lobby area to get to the seatings, but the staff was quick to help us get to the right place. The auditorium itself was quiet small, but I didn't mind it since the view wasn't obstructed, and I was more towards the back area. The only thing I had a complaint about was the water fountain looks disgusting, no one would be safe to drink out of that.

Yelp
It took me 12 years of living in Miami before I finally made it to The Fillmore. I came for the Leon Bridges concert and definitely loved the experience! Tickets were GA and you could choose between standing in the front or taking a seat in the back. The front section filled up pretty quickly (they eventually stopped letting people in) and since I was pregnant, we chose to grab a seat which had great views and good acoustics. I wasn't sure how early to get there. We arrived pretty much right when the opening act was starting and most people weren't there yet. By the time Leon Bridges came, it was packed. I was so impressed by the sheer number of drink/concession stands with a wide variety of eats and drinks. Alcohol does cost a pretty penny, but on the upside, the lines weren't too long since there were so many different spots to purchase. We parked in the Lincoln Road garage with an entrance off of 17th St across from City Hall which wasn't too expensive. From there, it's a short walk to the Fillmore. I'll definitely be looking out for more artists I like coming to The Fillmore soon!

Yelp
The Fillmore was not what I was expecting when I ventured to sobe to Attend the Mary j Blige concert. The entrance of the Fillmore looked very modest from the exterior but, as soon as you walk through the main doors you are instantaneously consumed by the feeling of euphoria! The interior is vividly decorated with fun art and colorful walls. I instantly felt like dancing! The stadium seating has high vaulted ceilings that the music echo through the entire place. It felt very intimate and different from your typical concert at a bigger venue. I highly recommend seeing a show here because the experience is really cool and unique!
google avatar

Alexis Andrea N.

Yelp
Great venue! I wasn't sure what to expect but it's a really nice concert hall with lots of seating and a nice big floor. And the seats were really comfortable! There are plenty of bars scattered around the different lobbies so there wasn't a big wait for a drink. There were lots of food options too. And the way it is set up even though there are a lot of people there for the concert it doesn't really feel like you are crammed in. It was easy to hitch the Uber after too which I wasn't sure about! Pretty inside too!
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
Came here for a business convention. It was clean and the staff was handing out masks to Everyone at the door, and you couldn't get in unless you're wearing one. Bathrooms were very cleaned as well!
google avatar

Lyndenise B.

Yelp
I try to stay away from this venue because of construction, traffic and parking. Thankfully I came several hours early for The Shady Tour event and found a parking spot right across the street. The best part about this venue is location. It's a few blocks away from some of the best restaurants which is great for anyone wanting to get a bite before a performance. There are also plenty of parking options BEFORE you get to the venue. The main street is pretty blocked with all the construction happening at the convention center. The Fillmore is a great venue with bars in the main and side hallways. Of course, be prepared to pay $15+ for a drink. Hey, it's South Beach so there's not surprise there. If you don't have an actual assigned seat, BEWARE! If they have it in the stand-up area, they will be fold out chairs where you are practically sitting on top of the people beside you. There was a row of tall men in front of me and they could barely breathe since they were on top of others in their party AND strangers. That made it really uncomfortable and hard to watch the show.
google avatar

Kelly F.

Yelp
Pros, the staff was nice. Had an issue with my tickets and it was quickly resolved.Cons,Endless lines to get in. No ushers in site to help you figure out the sitting arrangements. It was quite warm inside the actual theater(outside in the halls and bar area felt much better). Overall the whole event felt disorganized.

Yelp
The Fillmore... (Jackie Gleason Theater) only go if can't see your show somewhere else. When I heard our event was at the Fillmore in Miami I was like *groan* I wonder if it's gotten any better or is still the same sh*thole where Slayer played. Well, they did get a paint job and new carpet, but the main battered seating, crappy staff, and no parking haven't changed. Hint: Park in the public lot building across 17th street and don't get swindled by their 'valet only' BS (which used to be a public lot btw. How'd they swindle that one?) Leave the gun & knives in the car because they *will* search you with a metal detector wand--even grandma was getting the legs and bag searched. I guess they didn't want her smuggling in the recoilless rifle like she did to The Nutcracker. Also, leave behind the mini-bottles, any food, and they didn't let us bring in sealed water bottles. Cheap places like this want you to buy theirs for $6. And no there isn't a drinking fountain. Grandma was pissed. The bathrooms can be decent or like a Porta-Jon at a construction site. So bring some wet wipes (that they will confiscate at the door, probably thinking you mean to wring the moisture out to drink from). Using some of the back balcony hallways as a restroom might be preferable- and looks like it has been done or occurred to other patrons before. They do have a bunch of old event flyers that are the best thing about this place on the walls. So, in conclusion. The bar sucks, the venue sucks, the staff sucks, the bathrooms suck, the parking sucks, Security sucks, everything sucks, the Fillmore sucks. I hope your band or event is awesome to make up for this place
google avatar

Nathasha A.

Yelp
Let's start with the bathrooms. After I already had my ticket, I asked if I could use the bathroom because the daily show wasn't going to record for another two hours. They said no. I had to cross three streets in order to find a wheelchair friendly bathroom. Why couldn't they let me use the bathroom and then escort me back outside? I went to see Trevor Noah for The Daily Show. It was the worst experience because the people at the Fillmore are out of ADA compliance and have no respect for people with physical disabilities.
google avatar

Kristi S.

Yelp
My favorite place in Miami to see a concert. It is a medium sized venue and basically the only place in Miami to see musicians that don't play arenas. The inside is very comfortable, depending on the concert they may have standing room up front, or they bring in folding chairs. I prefer to sit in the first row on the balcony to the side. You have a great view and don't have to stand up to see. There are several bars on each floor, making getting a drink easy. The drinks are super expensive, but they do have a good selection of craft beer. There is a smaller theater in the back, which I have not been to. They often have burlesque shows. The theater offers valet, but there are several parking garages in the area.
google avatar

German M.

Yelp
I came to see Lana del Rey on a Sunday evening and I experienced the most disorganized way to enter a venue... I arrived 2 hours before the doors opened and the line was a few blocks long. This is really irrelevant mainly because the doors opened and everybody ran upfront defeating the purpose of a line... It took about 90 mins to get in and that's because I ran towards the entrance with the crowd! I saw two security guards at each door and the personnel in charge of printing the tickets (it was a credit card only event). The people printing the tickets were very incompetent and didn't know how to operate the machine to print the tickets. I loved the concert once I was inside... The restrooms are very outdated and the drink prices are reasonable -- $10 for wine and $5 water. I had the greatest idea when I arrived to the venue to valet my car. Don't if you want to leave right away! Instead of waiting, I went to have a drink around Lincoln Rd and when I came back my car was parked at the entrance, so that was a win!

Yelp
Fillmore is a gorgeous venue with high ceilings, chandeliers, decent seats, and small enough to enjoy the show no matter where your seating. Reminds me of old Hollywood glamour. In south Florida if you want to go to any type of show this is the prefect place to go to. I have gone to different comedy shows and concerts here and always had a great time. We usually have dinner before going here but they do have drinks/bar which is expensive but pretty standard for a place like this. The one category Fillmore could be better is the employees. Some of the employees do not want to be bothered when you ask a question. Even the valet service is ridiculous with them trying to take money from you but then tell you to park in the lot across if you want. It's better not to do valet and park across the street in the garage which is very cheap per hour and not very far. Overall, Fillmore is a good place to see any show you fancy.~

Yelp
Wow. What a beautiful place. I've been waiting anxiously to go here just so I could see inside. Of course, I wanted to see an amazing act but that's beside the point. The Fillmore has such an old charm, but with a nicely updated flare. It's reminiscent of a classic theater, but yet is not dingy, dirty or outdated in the least. What's great is there are seats for those of you who are sitters and there is a large standing room (general admission) area for those of who you prefer to be up close and standing next to your favorite perform. For me, I love the two bars. One on each end of the venue. The sound is amazing. The acoustics are great. The staff is very friendly and of course I have to make sure the bathroom's are clean (which they were). Definitely a great place to see a concert. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My first time here. Attending an 80's Halloween Party. The event included a drink, and fabulous music. People here in all types of costumes. If haven't been here you need to come and dance the night away.

Yelp
Went here to see Maks, Val, & Peta Tour Show which was so much fun and phenomenal. Great job guys! You knocked it out of the park! The theater itself is beautiful. They must have renovated it because I recall a couple of years ago it being very old looking and smelling of moth balls. They have a bar at the front and the lobby was very Art Deco like but a modern, upscale casual Art Deco vibe. The bathrooms were very clean as well which is a plus. Parking was very easy as well as here were two garages nearby. My only issue was the fact that the floor wasn't at an incline as most theaters are. They do this so that you are not blocked by the person in front of view. Well right when the family in front of us sat down our view was blocked so the entire show I had to crane my neck to see which wasn't fun but I made do because heck it's Maks, Val& Peta! Still though it would have been nice to just look straight ahead. Now the people in back of mine weren't so nice about it. An older gentleman at the end of the show forcefully pushed my arms down when I raised them for applause and when I was giving the cast a standing ovation. In a exclamatory, overjoyed fashion, like any Dancing with the stars fan would do, I stood up and clapped my hands overhead saying "woo hoo" in an attempt to show how happy I was with their performance, but Mr. I have no sense of respect and I'm so arrogant and think I can do whatever the heck of I want, decided to put his hands on my arms and push them down saying "Put your hands down!". I was so confused thinking no one would ever do such a thing, let alone a stranger, to aggressively push someone's arms down in front of them, but I turned around anyways to look at who this person was to have the audacity to do such a thing and it was a taller older man who told me, "My wife can't see!". I smiled and turned right back around and kept clapping on to the beat of the music. Tough luck buddy, I couldn't see either. Now, as I said the theater aesthetically was beautiful. It's an intimate venue and I was actually able to see the performers' faces which was nice! But really though that was a major design flaw...the floor should have been raised at an incline that way everyone would be able to see. I would go back if another ballroom dance show or music concert was there but for anything else like a play or a musical , no way.

Yelp
New Order residence, last night, still watching the opening act and we already being called out...we can't stand on the carpets area, even though the lower levels have sticky gross floor (like poorly clean alcohol from previous days.) ok, we got off the carpet level...then we sort of touch the metal bar divisors with our backs and we were called out we "can't sit there.." that doesn't give me many options as dancing isn't one of them as the floor is rIdiculously sticky. I hope these attentive employees are on top of smokers later on as previously I had issues with excessive smoking and when I requested help no employee felt like it was an important issue to address. Can not believe how hard it'll be to dance on a dance music concert. Hope New Order make it worthy because The Fillmore re dropped the ball big time.

Yelp
We went recently to watch Willie Colon in concert and got way more than we asked for. Not only was the concert amazing. Not only did he sing all the oldies and goodies that had the audience singing along. But the place itself had a great vibe of fun and celebration. Since we walked in we were jamming with their DJ in their entrance playing old school salsa just like we liked. This made the mood very exciting for what was to come. After the concert, the entire lobby became and dance floor and everyone was dancing and happy. The atmosphere was great and the smiles of the people attested to this. We came for the concert, received an after party with their amazing DJ. We decided to come here for more concerts because of this.

Yelp
I get a little upset whenever I see an artist I enjoy is performing at this venue. I have had so many bad experiences at this venue. I know it is a combination of things like fan bases, organizers and hired security companies but this venue should do better. Considering most of the concerts are general admission, the venue should plan ahead for situations of fans waiting out hours before the concert. There have been numerous situations with a lot of fans trying to cut the lines and the people working here never seem to care! I know it is ultimately the people who cut in line that are the awful people but it is frustrating when security doesn't seem to care about it. I will still go here to see an artist that I love but I no longer try for front row because of the awful experiences I have had.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
This venue is fine. There aren't a ton of places to see a concert in Miami Beach. From the mezzanine you can see the stage very clearly. Drinks are massively overpriced. There isn't a great way to get crowds into the theatre. I was there when it was raining and they made everyone stand in line in the rain.

Nice medium venue, with good views from almost every spot in the venue. General Admission is the regular here, so getting here early is a must if you want to get in the pit in the front.

Yelp
On Sunday, April 21, my father and I went to see the "Rosario and Lolita Flores" concert. I paid $200 to take my father to see his favorite singer as an early Father's Day gift. We were both so excited! Unfortunately, our night did not start nor did it end right. The show was starting at 8:30pm and so, at about 8:15pm, we started to make our way to our seats. For the record, the ushers are amazing and very courteous and friendly. I had to ask about three of them how exactly to get to our seats, and all three were very sweet and attentive. As we were following an usher to our seats, we approached these very large (width-wise) and dark steps. I proceeded to tell my dad to be careful because they were dark and you could barely see them (the steps do not have lights as is custom in theaters as a safety precaution). Of course, after the first step, he missed and fell to his left in between two rows. He hit his head and left eye with the iron armrest and was bleeding. The usher who stayed with us was very calming and he immediately called the paramedics. The paramedic, Ronnie Sanchez, went above and beyond in comforting and taking care of my dad. He was the sweetest and even came once in the middle of the show to see how he was feeling. He eventually helped my dad walk to his seat. The police officers in the lobby were also amazing and very kind and respectful. When my dad fell, in the middle of the chaos, some lady approached me frantically screaming that she had also seen someone else trip and fall that same evening because of how dangerous and dark those steps are. Although my dad did not require at that moment medical attention beyond being seen by the paramedic that night, he did have to go to the emergency room a few days later because the pain and discomfort were unbearable. When I called this week and left two voice messages, my sole purpose was to discuss the safety issues at hand and press on how important it is for them to correct this. I haven't heard back from anyone. I'm not sure, if they just do not care or if they do but prefer not to speak to me. Bottom line is, they need to update their steps and light them up. My dad and I have been very kind and understanding thus far, but others may not be and they can be seen with a big legal mess in their hands. WARNING: TAKE YOUR OWN FLASHLIGHTS AND BE CAREFUL WITH THE STEPS!

Yelp
The Fillmore Miami Beach is a pretty unique place to see a concert or show. It has a real genuine old school Hollywood theatre feel, but for some heavy shows I would be cautious of the setup there. The show that was playing here was imogen heap. Generally speaking, very chill, and an even more chill crowd. This spot is right down the street from drunken dragon, if you happen to be drinking there or if you ever wanted to know what good watering hole is around the Fillmore for a pregame. So the Fillmore is huge. It is an iconic spot that has seen a lot of shows and definitely makes you feel like it's the real deal. There are two bars, well attended to, on the first floor when you first walk in. My idea is that there might only be one or two performance stages here, with a lot of extra auxiliary spots for random meeting, events, or whatever usually goes on here. The show was good, the staging was well put together, and there was even a little mobile bar area that they carted in with boxes full of plenty of booze so that you didn't have to leave the main stage and go out into what labyrinth of hallways they've made to get you back to first floor, center. On the whole, the Fillmore is probably a five star place. The only beef I have with it is that I noticed while I was there that they had a booking for a Rob Zombie show. I'm not sure about you, but at least the stage that I was in was in no condition to hold a super crowded rager. I can already picture a smothered room full of bong smoke and not enough room for a packed jam sesh. Add onto this the small mobile bar area they half-heartedly pushed in as an afterthought and I can imagine that it wouldn't be the greatest for all viewers. This place gets four stars because: 1: the place is neat and has a real genuine Hollywood feel to it. I can see how it would have a lot of appeal. 2: bars were plentiful, even if they were makeshift. 3: staff was cool. 4:bathrooms were well placed and clean. 0: loses a half star here because the sound control station is in a weird spot in the middle of the general admission area. 0: loses a star here because I can see how that with bigger shows this place would get really stuffy and/or crowded. The Fillmore itself seems to be a huge place, but I'm not sure how much of it is actually stages.

Yelp
Solid place to see some live music. I've seen a ton of bands there dating back to when it was known as the Jackie Gleeson Theatre in 1999 when I saw Ani DiFranco live. it's changed a little over the years but it has great acoustics, and a cool mezzanine and orchestra pit that's not too far from the stage to where you can see a respective band perform and hear the music. I dig the dark red interior too. Despite living in PBC now, it's still one of the solid places to see live music nowadays.

Yelp
Please explain to me WHY SoFl has no real rock station?? This place was sold out! But I digress. I absolutely love this venue. I love the decor. I love the seating. I love the entire set up. I saw Bush here and last night Evanescence. The acoustics are incredible. Never more than a few minute wait at the bar and the facilities are clean and taken care of.

Yelp
Great venue in Miami Beach for concerts. Good variety of restaurants and bars near by to visit after a show. Lots of parking available near by. The venue is classics and intimate. Very clean with good service.

Yelp
Great place to see a show. Its a small intimate venue where every seat in the house it good. Acoustics are generally pretty good and overall I dont have any complaints and love seeing shows here. They have many beverage stations and small bites and there is a VIP lounge area as well. There is a city parking lot across the street 2 blocks west that charges $1 an hour, cant beat that unless the limo is dropping you off and picking you up. Overall, its a great spot and if your favorite band or a performance you want to see if coming here, dont miss out and dont worry about getting bad tickets because like I said its so small that every seat is a good seat.

Yelp
My first time here for a rock concert. I don't know if they have their own parking lot or garage but I couldn't find anything. I found some street parking not too far but it was a little walk to get to the entrance. The venue definitely has an outdated feel to it. Not many signs that direct you either to where the event is happening.... You kinda just follow the crowd lol. The sound system was great but could be a bit better. It's difficult to hear what exactly is being said on the mic when someone is talking... It's a bit muffled. It's a very basic place. Nothing fancy. Not bad.

Yelp
Beautiful venue. That is the lone star. Service: I was just cursed out by an employee because the barricade was coming apart in front of me. Not my fault, it is not secured 100%. I understand you may have a bad day. But also the person scanning my ticket coming and later at the bar. All staff 100% rude and not worthy of working in the service industry at all.

Yelp
Hmmmmm I don't know why I've waited to so long to write this review. I've been to so many events at the Fillmore and I must say it holds so many great memories for me. It's been around for as long as I can remember becoming old enough to actually take advantage of the night life on the beach. I have been to everything from a magic show by David Copperfield to a Burlesque Show by the Suicide Girls. There are three things that make this venue special. The history, the versatility and the vintage feel. The history I'll leave it up to a google search but its been around since 1957. The versatility because it has different size venues from small & quaint to concert size. The vintage feel because although renovated several times since 1957, it still has a vintage flair inside and out. It is said that they want to demolish it but I think they would be demolishing some of South Beach's illustrious history.

Yelp
The Fillmore Theater was a larger, more diverse complex than I imagined. It's got the art deco facade, which is historic. It has several venues, which means there are always multiple performances to see. The performances vary from Broadway musicals to burlesque shows. But the facility is in need of internal renovations. Also to knock what is actually going on there, you must check both their website and eventbrite.com. inexpensive public parking is available across the street and down one block from the Fillmore. Overall, it can be a great night with many simultaneous performances. Enjoy!

Yelp
As someone that has gone to numerous shows throughout the years at the Fillmore, its safe to say that as of my past experience on Friday 5/6, I will never return. The staff are increasingly rude every time I attend a show here. This past experience however, was the cherry on top. The staff member (elderly African American woman with short white hair) letting GA ticket purchasers towards the front of the stage was letting people in and out, but refused to let me in. I asked her why, to which she nastily responded "it's at capacity," as she continued to let people in and out around me. I (VERY POLITELY I MAY ADD) inquired as to why she was letting others in then. She rolled her eyes at me and in her rude tone said "well people are leaving to go to the bathroom." What a blatant lie, considering I watched her let people that had just arrived in the "at capacity" area. I have no idea what this woman I dont know had against me to not let me in to see the band I PAID MONEY TO SEE, but I can guarantee that I wont be back to let it happen again. Also, 2 cans of beers and a bottle of water shouldnt be $28 at the concession area. Just saying. You lost a loyal patron, Fillmore! Re-evaluate your staff and teach them some manners.
