We stayed at the Fire Station for one night. We had one of the Great State Vouchers so decided to treat ourselves. Normally we would chose one of the CBD hotels but this came up in our search.||The rooms are located in the old North Adelaide Fire Station. There are 2 rooms upstairs (I think) and a ground floor room which we booked. |The room is on the ground floor and has a fire engine 🚒 inside. (Apparently it still works!) As per the photos you have the engine, a double bed and lounge plus a kitchenette plus a big bathroom with a spa bath. |The room was warm cosy and spotless.|Our only downside was being able to hear the street. We had some very noisy people returning from a pub/bar at 2am. ||The location is perfect short walk in to North Adelaide. Decor unique. Free bottle of Fire Station Bubbles. What more do you want.

My family stayed here overnight, for my sons 3rd birthday. It was perfect for us, as you can only have 6 people in total in the room during your stay. My son loved the fire engine, the small fire engine toys and the helmets. We had so much fun. The fire station inn is perfectly located just off of O'Connell Street. Which has many dining options.

Fabulous location, easy walking distance to the cafes and shops of North Adelaide. Spotlessly clean too. We really appreciated the underfloor heating being on and the radio playing when we checked in, a nice touch. There's lots of information provided about Adelaide, the old Fire Station and the history of the place. And that fire engine - what can we say? Such fun. We would definitely stay again and definitely recommend.

Spent a night at The Fire Station Inn. Was in absolute awe upon entering at having a fire engine in the living area! |The place is so incredibly unique and interesting and also provides total comfort. We didn’t make use of the kitchenette, preferring to eat out instead but we could easily have hunkered down and not left. Bed was comfy, the underfloor hearing was amazing! |Location is excellent. Easy stroll into North Adelaide and approx 30 mins from city centre. |Only suggestion to potential guests, check parking arrangements. We were ok on the street as it was a Sunday, but weekdays could cause some headaches. |Overall, a 5 star stay, at a really affordable price. Highly recommended! |

Gorgeous little place to stay on our first night in Adelaide. History lovingly preserved complete with a full size fire engine in the living room and a fire pole with dress up clothes as well!! Everything was red and matchy matchy 💜💜 impeccable, quaint and lovely .10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. The fire engine and all the many related items entertained our 3 year old grandson. He loved all the small trucks and the books and puzzles. The kitchen was well appointed but missing an oven. The bathroom was large and the spa tub was a nice indulgence. We found there to be a lot of noise from the street. You could hear everyone who walked by. The wifi was very spotty and you can not count on being able to take care of any business online. The location in North Adelaide was great with quick access to many restaurants and shops.

Gifted my Daughter, her husband and their 3 year old a night at the Fire Station Inn. My grandson had the time of his life and didn't want to leave. We put out a great deal of fires that weekend! Such a unique and special experience for children of all ages. Would highly recommend for any families with young children who love anything fire fighter related.

Loved the history and the location. We had a great time! It was on theme and the spa was lovely. However the bed was horrid, rock solid and ancient and at over $360 a night something more modern and comfortable was expected.
