This is a great place to stay if you want to be within easy walking distance of all the fun bars, restaurants, and shops. The lobby has a great energy with a bar and plenty of spots to sit. While I was there they had live music too. The rooftop is cool as well, the hot tub was out of commission when I was there but I hope to go back to enjoy it in the future.

Enjoyed my stay with easy access to shopping and dining within walking distance. The mountain views from the rooftop terrace were stunning! (The hot tub is closed for maintenance, and I didn't see a barista or bartender at the lounge), but there were great coffee shops nearby! Immaculate room with cozy decor! I will visit again!

This was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Our room was at the corner by the highway intersection. All night and day there were logging trucks, huge dump trucks and lots of loud vehicles. As mentioned by others, the construction of this hotel didn’t do anything to quiet the sound. The room was clean and a comfortable size but only had one, uncomfortable chair. This did not reflect the price we paid for the room and we understand location pricing. We booked the hotel for the spa, which was just one or 2 treatment rooms. The hot tub was not operating. Our massages by Erica were fantastic. Too bad I couldn’t sleep that night with the noise. The town of whitefish is super cute and walkable from the hotel.

Great location, nice rooms, indifferent staff, and an all-out money grab. We stayed 1 night on a Sunday night, mid-September, which is the beginning of the off-season for the Glacier area. The location is great - right in the heart of downtown Whitefish. Our room was larger and nice. Front desk staff was both unknowledgeable and unhelpful. The grab and go breakfast area was not staffed. Room rate when I booked was $499 a night, which please, this is Whitefish Montana in the off season, but my wife and I wanted to stay somewhere nice, so we swallowed hard and booked. Upon checkout, our bill was $623. $499 for the room, $55 in taxes (11%, what can you do?), and then $70 for Assessments & Fees. When I asked what the $70 was for, the front desk person had no idea. She called her manager who came out, but did not talk to me, leaving the front desk person to mumble something about the business center and shuttle. I was annoyed that I felt they had not disclosed these extra fees, but when I went back to my reservation, they were in fact disclosed buried in the smallest of small print. "1% Community Sustainability Fund (voluntary); 1% Averill Foundation Contribution (voluntary); 12% Hotel Services Fee" They added 14%, including 2 voluntary fees, which were not voluntary at all, since I had no opportunity to opt out. Bottom line, $623 per night on a Sunday night off-season in Whitefish Montana. Unless you want to participate in their money grab, avoid this hotel and by extension, all Averill properties.

I went to check into my room. I noticed the neighboring room's TV could be heard in my room. The hotel is of cheap construction. The front desk woman was very nice but she could not find another quiet room. It was disappointing due to the hotel being newer and looked fun. I went down the street and the Marriot has nice quiet rooms.

Visited this establishment reluctantly with the lady, but figured what the heck, we never go to this place so lets have a drink before we go home. I would say worst service ever but the service was nonexistent. We sat for 5 minutes before my girlfriend got a drink and I wasnt even acknowledged nor asked if I wanted anything. Hannah is completely unengaged with anyone except her friend at the bar whom she stood and talked to for 10 minutes instead of checking on her guests. We asked for the bill and she said "yeah" and then proceeded to chat away with her friend. Horrible service. The worst. Ever.

Town of Whitefish is super quaint. Hotel was in a good location. Walk the entire town of Whitefish and we were able to get to Glacier National Park easily. We ate at the restaurant the first night we stayed there. It was really good! Service at the hotel was great!

We stayed a night for our birthday and enjoyed a massage and facial. Staff was professional and courteous. Hot tub was down but still enjoyed the visit and amenities. Sure to be back for another massage!
