WOW! I loved this place. What a perfect meal. Wifey and I shared two plates...she had the BBQ sampler, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Their smoked offerings of pork & beef, perfect. I had the fish and chips, Mahi Mahi panko crusted with perfection. The highlight, the best banana cream pie I've ever had in my life!!!! The service was top notch. Felt like they really appreciated our business. We went early, I've heard there can be a long line at times.

At the recommendation of someone I follow on social media, I had to make this a stop while on the Big Island. The recommendation was valid. Food was excellent. The service top notch. The atmosphere casual and welcoming. I started with the daily tots. Daily tots were tots covered in pesto, bacon and melted cheese. Oh so good. Generous portion which could easily be shared. I asked the server for food recommendations before placing my meal order. There were a few sampler type options I was admiring. Turns out these were on the recommend list. I ordered the brisket sampler with grilled pineapple and coleslaw. The brisket was fork tender and perfectly cooked. I liked the grilled pineapple with paprika (?) on it. The coleslaw was not to my liking. It didn’t have a mayo base which is my preference. Decent portion size. Lastly, I did order dessert, coconut cake. Huge piece of cake. I could only eat part of the slice so took the rest home for later. It was just as good on round two 😊 Definitely a good place for bbq. Visit hungry!

Get there early or prepare for a wait. Order at least 2 orders of the cornbread, you won’t regret it. The poke was excellent, the sweet potato chips were a nice addition. Fish tacos were a little too wet, but had good flavor. Unfortunately, our brisket was clearly precut and dried out. Flavor wasn’t bad though. Also, our waitress never talked through the specials and spent most of her time chatting up her friends at the table next to us. Overall we liked it, but will be sticking to the fish portions of the menu.

Where do I even begin. Some of the most amazing barbecue I've had in years! Had a sampler plate and it was phenomenal! And for dessert you must an absolutely have to try the banana cream pie, One of the best I've ever had. This will become a stop every time we come back to Hawaii for sure.

Google
Delicious food and great experience! We came as a group of five and ordered three entrees family style to start — everything was so tasty and filling that we only added two more cornbreads for dessert. The brisket, cornbread, and dill dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries were our favorites. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Wonderful stop in Waimea. Ate at the bar so we were able to sit immediately. There was a short wait for a table (about 20 mins) which definitely would’ve been worth it. We ordered the BBQ Sample Platter, it was delicious. Got baked beans and coleslaw as a side along with a piece of cornbread. All the meats were amazing and the cornbread was the best I’ve ever had. Have to shout out the bartender Kirk. He provided great service and had an awesome energy. Finished out with banana cream pie- 10/10 and it was giant. Definitely need to visit if stopping in Waimea!

Google
We had an amazing lunch at the Fish and the Hog. I got the brisket sandwich, which was excellent. Definitely don’t skip the garlic shrimp if you like shrimp!

Google
Place was fantastic - visiting from Chicago. After 2 weeks, this was still our favorite meal by the end of the trip. The Poke bowl was fresh as could be, the brisket sandwich was some of the best I’ve ever had and the fish Cesar salad was on point. The server was a very nice woman from Houston. Atmosphere was laid back. If you’re anywhere on the Big Island I’d say The Fish and The Hog is worth the trip. I even bought one of their cool dad hats I was so impressed with the place! Unfortunately I must have lost it in the airport otw back home. Hopefully one day I can convince them to let me buy and ship me another one.

Yelp
Best food, great service and such a fun environment. Can't wait to go back again. The homemade lemonade started it off, great brisket, best slaw I have ever had and the cornbread was so delicious. Ended with banana cream pie, so yummy!!!

Yelp
I have to admit I was starving and forgot to take pictures, but let me start with the staff, they were amazing! We were seated quickly and made sure everyone had full drinks all the time. We started with some delicious deep fried Brussel sprouts and poke nachos that were quickly devoured. As for our meals we had the sampler which consisted of pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs, I loved everything! The ribs and brisket were my favorites. We also ordered brisket and chicken Mac and Cheese that was so creamy and tasty. Finally the ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

Yelp
Best service! Greeter was so friendly and filled with Aloha. Smokehouse salad was ono! Coming back again!

Yelp
Hearing the many raves about this unassuming BBQ place, we drove up the big hill from the Waikoloa area with a big appetite and hopeful expectations. We were greeted in the warmest way by the best hostess upon arrival. It was one of those noteworthy things, where a person is so welcoming and sincere, it's memorable long after the experience. Expectations remained high. After the briefest of wait, we were seated in the main dining area and offered drinks and menus. This is where each of us were faced with a tremendous challenge of what to order, because the selections all sounded so good. Do we go with the panko crusted fish & chips? The Mac & Cheese entree, and if so which meat (brisket, pulled pork, chicken)? A classic BBQ plate with 2 sides? A Reuben Sandwich? A Blackened Fish Plate? Decisions, Decisions... In the end, we opted for the BBQ Sampler plate and shared it. We figured this way we could get BBQ Brisket, Pulled Pork, Sausage, Ribs and sides of Cornbread & Sweet Potato fries...all in one go. Once the sampler arrived (which was before our Brussels Sprouts appetizer) we determined that both the Pulled Pork & Brisket were stunners and exactly as you would hope it could be. We've had our share of incredible smoked meats, and these are easily competitive with any of them. The table has a variety of sauces to add to your heart's content. There was a Crackseed BBQ Sauce, a sweeter Lilikoi Gold, and a more classic Paniolo BBQ sauce. I liked sampling them all, though I prefer and recommend the Paniolo. Back to the sampler...The Sausage part of the entree was also very good, but the Ribs were only so-so, which made us Sad. They just seemed a little dry to us, though maybe they just paled in comparison to the other items. The Brussels that arrived a touch belatedly were also really, really good. They are deep fried, crispy, and come with great seasoning and a dipping sauce. We loved our experience here, and splitting the protein-heavy entree with the added appetizer was plenty for us, which made the overall value excellent. Service was consistent throughout, and we'd come back gladly. We know we'd love to try something else from that incredible menu!

Yelp
Seriously some of the best grub on the island. The service, drinks, and food were all ono. A definite stop when in Waimea! The sampler and smokehouse salad were both phenomenal! The Bloody Mary was great also. Maybe the best I've had here or mainland. Nice variety to choose from. Seriously melt in your mouth bbq. Sauces are great also. 3 different varieties to choose from. Line starts before they open so get here early as they get busy and fill the tables fast.
google avatar

Yelp
While they may be known for BBQ they have a lot more to offer! The service is always a 10 and the ambiance is upbeat and casual. It's always worth listening to the daily specials and the fresh catch has never let me down! Sample the sauces and enjoy the service!
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
Often times it's hard to get really good local food on the island. Most places are at the resorts and overpriced. The other choices are hit and miss. This place is always a winner. It's just very solid BBQ. It's cute and quaint and very much the style of Waimea. There is almost always a wait, and you can see why when you come. The food and the cocktails are just really dang good. I didn't get photos of all the food, because my family was digging in before I could get photos. We got the brisket, and it was some of the best I've had. (And I used to live in Texas) The fries are really fresh and unique. Definitely not like a typical restaurant fry. The French onion soup and gumbo were spectacular! Absolutely amazing. So deep with flavor, it's like a flavor bomb in your mouth. The BBQ sauces are all unique. I love the crackseed, it's tangy and not super sweet. The only complaint, we got the fresh fish of the day and had it panko crusted. It was very fishy, and almost inedible to someone sensitive to that flavor. The service was good. Our server was friendly and helpful. The host Tamara was unbelievably sweet and accommodating. This is a gem for Big Island. I highly suggest you try to make it here.
google avatar

Yelp
The food and the service were excellent!!! Portions were generous and delicious. Definitely would come back.

Yelp
Took my sister and her husband to enjoy the food and atmosphere of this restaurant while they visited from CA. They declared that this was by far the best place to eat while visiting Big Island Hawaii
google avatar

Gabby G.

Yelp
we started out with the bbq tater tots and got the pulled pork sandwich with a salad & brisket Mac and cheese! Everything was 10/10. Also the corn bread they give you is great! They had fresh squeezed lemonade too! For everything we got it was $77!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolute "Go To" every time we visit our kids and grandkids on their ranch near there...our visit to The Fish and the Hog is Already on the agenda!! Work hard all day and eat hearty and well that evening! "It just don't get no better!"
google avatar

Jacqueline L.

Yelp
Came here with my family and what a surprise--everything we ordered was a hit. The onion soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. I had the fish tacos, which were fresh and well-seasoned, and sampled some of the BBQ--tender, smoky, and legit. But the real star? The banana pudding cake. Easily one of the best desserts I've ever had. Light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Laid-back atmosphere, friendly service, and seriously good food. Definitely a must-stop in Kona.
google avatar

Yelp
Lunch on Thursday, we had a warm and friendly welcome. Thankfully we were seated and served water right away. The restaurant was filled with by the time we finished lunch. The BBQ sampler was delicious!

Yelp
My first experience with The Fish and The Hog was more than four years ago. I took five locals there yesterday (9/5/2025) and every one of us left very happy, very full, and raving about the excellent food and service. I had the Beef Brisket with House Fries and Rainbow Cole Slaw ($35.95). I slathered the beef brisket and the fries with their Paniolo BBQ Sauce. Their brisket STILL can be cut with a dull spoon. It literally melted on my tongue, that is how good it is. Others in my party had the Sampler Plate ($37.95), Blackened Mahi-Mahi ($27) freshly caught that day, BBQ Brisket Mac n Cheese ($26) that is so creamy, cheesy, and delicious, BBQ Brisket Street Tacos ($26), and a BBQ Brisket Sandwich ($21) (do you see a trend here?). Don't let these prices scare you. Consider this a "special occasion" and enjoy the best brisket you'll ever taste. For 6 of us, we paid $200 including non-alcoholic drinks but excluding the 4.712% sales tax and tip. That's about $33.48 per person, but well worth every penny. I also want to call out the hostess (maybe manager) who seated us and our waitress (my receipt says her name is Mailani) for their very friendly personality, helpfulness, and fantastic customer service. I return to the Big Island in Hawaii every year and The Fish and The Hog is a "Must Go To" restaurant each time I visit.

Neil B.

Yelp
Went there for dinner after the rush - got there at 7:30 and we were sat right down. They were not out of any food. We ordered the gumbo, a brisket plate with fries and slaw and a side of mac & cheese. Asked for the brisket fatty and was not disappointed. The gumbo & slaw were my two favorites. Slaw has a big flavor of dill, so if that's not one your palette, then stay away - but I loved it. Gumbo was one of the best I've ever had. Brisket was solid as were the fries. My wife loved the mac & cheese - we got it plain and it had plenty of flavor. BUT THE BEST THING ABOUT THE DINNER WAS OUR SERVER - Mailani - SHE WAS AWESOME. Gave us explanations of all the food we were interested in. She was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I think we spent more time talking to her about family than we did to eat our food. Overall I give this place a solid 10 - we def be back next time we travel to the Big Island!

Don S.

Yelp
When it gets full & busy, place can get pretty loud! We usually stop here when they open to have lunch. Food & service usually very good however, this time, food felt below par! We both had the brisket sandwich but meat had much more fat and only lukewarm. Also, the sandwich & the amount of meat seemed smaller? Fries that came with it was limp & not crispy. Also ordered side of onion rings which were very good & perhaps the best part of the meal...it better be at $13!! Service (Travis) was still very good, friendly & attentive. On island 3 more weeks...maybe will give them another shot?
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
There's always a wait here, but the food is fresh and pretty good. Service was friendly and pretty fast. The Reuben spring rolls were really good. The BBQ Brisket French Dip sandwiches were good too. I was disappointed that even though it was about 6:00 in the evening, they had already run out of the chicken. Next time!
google avatar

Diane R.

Yelp
Another great meal at the Fish and the hog! I had the pineapple mint tea and loved it, slight mint flavor tea with pineapple juice. The food was delicious! Service was great. Remember to be patient as this place is packed and small. Plenty of parking in their expanded parking lot.
google avatar

Owen K.

Yelp
We always have a great time at The Fish and The Hog. Their fried fish, sandwiches, and desserts are fantastic. I've had their sliced brisket twice now and although it is tender it has been a bit dry both times. The banana cream pie is 10/10. Arrive early and expect to wait 15-45 minutes during the dinner rush.
google avatar

Kontos S.

Yelp
One of the best Gumbo soup I've ever had. Their brisket taco is an essential combination! Their chocolate layer cake is amazing and huge! Great atmosphere and proper staff! They are very professional! I sat at the bar and I felt so comfortable. Nick the bartender is fantastic and very knowledgeable! I can't wait to come back on this local gem!
google avatar

Steve D.

Yelp
So darn delicious! Their pastrami is as good if not better than many Jewish deli's with famous names! And the banana pudding pie? OMG! Last but not least, we had at least four staff members come by to tell us how much they appreciated us being there. They understand that they need to get the visitors in Waikoloa to make the drive up to Waimea to thrive. They deserve every penny based on quality of service and the food is top notch!
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Service is great and some of the food is very good but not everything was good. My friend got the Chinese chicken wrap which was the special for the day and loved it. Her husband ordered the Chicken drumstick and also loved it. It came with a white bbq sauce that he said was really good. My husband ordered the French dip sandwich and said the sandwich had medium flavor and was a little dry. The dip was French Onion soup which he liked. I ordered the fish of the day which was mahi mahi in panko. It was dry. The sweet potato fries and regular French fries were good. The cornbread was excellent.
google avatar

Julia

Yelp
I mean...O M G I thought I died and went to heaven when eating this meal. Hands down the best Reuben and Mac n cheese I've ever had. We started with the tater tots and they were just amazing. My mom and I split the Reuben and brisket Mac n cheese and I would highly recommend others do the same. It just melts in your mouth, we were in pure bliss. The brisket plate and brisket tacos looked fantastic as well. We were so full so we didn't get to enjoy the banana cake, but we got a slice to-go!! Service was great and it's a cool farm vibe inside. It truly lived up to the hype!
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
We ate at this place for lunch. I ordered pork tacos and my wife ordered barbecue chicken and ribs. Everything was delicious and we had way more food than we could eat so we took quite a bit home. The sides are very good as well. Service was friendly and we got our food quickly. Probably the only negative is that it's a bit loud in there. I would definitely eat here again.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Some of the best mainland-Southern-style barbecue I've had in Hawaii, with a local twist. The beef brisket is juicy and tender, the shredded pork is succulent and tender, and the barbecue sauces are made with local ingredients. The service is wonderful, if you tell them you haven't been there before, they take the time to introduce you to the restaurant and the menu. The decor is old country farmhouse. Pull up a chair and get comfortable because they're going to feed you well! Don't miss the corn bread, it's incredible- tastes like fresh sweet corn with a touch of chili pepper, and the coconut cake slices are both huge and delicious!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
This is a place to go and eat and drink ALL the things. Cocktails were delicious. Blue Hawaii was perfect. Waimea Paloma was fantastic. Fish plate, Moink burger were all so delicious!! Service from Jess was just the right amount of attention. Go here for great ambiance and delicious food. BBQ in Waimea?! Who knew it would be this good!!
google avatar

Shirley F.

Yelp
Easily the meal we had this vacation. The food was excellent, down to every sauce and garnishment. Service was relaxed and friendly. Overall ambiance was good. Even our picky teenagers really liked this place. Come early because some menu items run out fast! Will definitely mark this place to come back next time!
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
After visiting the Hilo side of HI, we went home via Waimea and stopped off at the Fish and the Hog around 3pm on a Thursday where there was no wait. Here is what we ordered: Bloody Mary Fried Pickles Poke Nachos - skimpy on the poke Mac N' Cheese with Smoked Brisket Pulled Pork with Beans + Cornbread The Sampler with Sweet Potato Fries + Beer Battered Onion Rings Banana Cream Pie - While we licked our plates clean, what stood out to us was that all the fried items were A+ because the items were crispy. As for the smoked items, though everything was tender, the ribs seemed like they had the most smoke and best texture. For the sauce, there was the Paniolo Sauce and the Cracked Seed Sauce which were both unique, but on the salty side.
google avatar

Kim K.

Yelp
Worth the wait! Service was prompt and lots of inside AC seating. We came on a weekday and it was a ~45 minute wait for two but we'll worth the wait. We got the fish of the day (Mahi) and brisket tacos. The fish was perfectly cooked and a great portion for the price. Husband said tbe brisket tacos were good too. Awesome tropical cocktails as well! Would love to make it back.
google avatar

Rich W.

Yelp
Best BBQ I have had anywhere. Friendly and excellent service. Having to wait in line is worth the wait.
google avatar

Gary V.

Yelp
Food is awesome service even better! Will be back very soon Keep up with great work

Thomas C.

Yelp
If you are craving BBQ, but you also want some lighter options like Fish, this is the place. Just know the dinning room is smallish there will be a wait. We were a party of 4 at 6:30 and it was maybe 10 mins. Seems to open up around 7:15. Food was great, traditional BBQ, ribs were fall off the bone tender. My son got a cheeseburger and it disappeared quickly so I will take that as a good sign. Our daughter had the pulled pork and Mac, she loved it. Spouse went for the Mahi Mahi salad and she was impressed. It is a bit of a drive from the coast, but totally worth it. Eat local, you will enjoy it!
google avatar

Natasha B.

Yelp
brisket amazing! brisket tacos amazing!! banana cream pie amazing!!! staff amazing!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Sophie (10) pork street tacos The tacos were really yummy. The pork was the best I've had in Hawaii! Great amount of food. Josie (13) macaroni and cheese with pork It was soooo good and huge! You could tell the cheese sauce was homemade. Everyone was super duper nice. Katie- French Onion Soup Delicious! I have never had scallions on top but it had a good crunch and contrast to the onions in the soup. The service was above and beyond! I tried the bbq sauce and the flavor is so unique. We are taking a bottle home! I can't wait to try the slice of pie we grabbed for later. The restaurant has a cute farm feel and warmth. What a gem! Marc-Poke Bowl The poke bowl was everything I was looking for! The flavors were really well balanced and fresh. I appreciated how thin the chips were and nicely salted.

Tasi C.

Yelp
I do first want to recommend visiting as soon as they open (11:30AM or early dinner, because they did run out of a few things from their menu when we had arrived. Service was AMAZING from the start. (it was my birthday) HOWEVER they did not know until after we ordered everything we requested. I WISH i had remembered our waitress's name so i could credit her impeccable service and kindness! She comped my plate because they did not have what i had originally ordered, she also comped the mule that the bartender had mistakenly made while awaiting my other alcoholic drink. (you are amazing ) Their BBQ sauce!!! Crackseed & Paniolo is SO good! I personally don't even like bbq sauce, however once i tried theirs i absolutely LOVED it! Our server brought the cake and had everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday (I LOVED IT) I did share with my friends that the environment gives a place that a cowboy or cowgirl would go to eat! Portion sizes were huge! Will definitely be back.

Mai W.

Yelp
Highly, highly recommend, 10/10 experience! The Fish and The Hog is our new favorite spot in Waimea! We were blown away by the huge portions at such a great price, easily enough for a whole second meal. We ordered the sampler, rib eye, Caesar salad, and brussels sprouts... every single dish was packed with incredible flavor. Beyond the food, the service truly stood out. The staff ran this bustling little spot like a well-oiled machine. Our food came out quickly, tables were bussed with care, and everything just flowed seamlessly. Special shoutout to the sweetest hostess ever and the kind, attentive servers. Your aloha spirit shines through! As foodies, we notice the details, and this place gets it all right. Mahalo for an amazing meal and experience. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
We were lucky to have Jess too. She was very pleasant and made good suggestions to our order. We had the appetizer Tater Tots to start and it went pretty quickly as we were all hungry. The have it set up pretty good inside and we were served pretty quickly. You walk in the front they encourage you to walk through the back to leave. We only had to wait about 20 minutes during dinner time on a Monday. I thought the Sampler plate was perfect amount. The cornbread was ok but the grilled pineapple was delicious as well as the pork. The meats I liked the baby back ribs the most. My daughter had the sweet potato fries with a side salad. She liked the sweet potato fries over the regular fries. My wife had the salad with her choice of meat while my other daughter had the bacon cheeseburger and said it was really good.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to eat while visiting the Big Island! The Fish and The Hog screams island old-school charm. Just hanging out on the front porch on tiny stools felt like a classic way to pass the time--laid back and welcoming. As for the BBQ? It's solid. I went with the sampler platter--brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs--and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the wait. I paired it with an island Moscow mule, which was fantastic and refreshing. But the real star of the show? The banana cream pie. Hands down the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. It will absolutely knock your socks off!

Yelp
We stopped in here after a sunset horseback ride with Paniolo Adventures (recommended!) for a bite before heading back to Keahou. It was 8:30 pm and they were closing at 9:00 pm. The waitress was not rude but she was definitely rushing us. Our dinner came moments after receiving our salad. She was trying to clear our place before we were completely finished. Also they started cleaning up all around us while we were still eating. We were not being slow or dillydallying either...and we were not the last party in there....so this was annoying if not a bit rude. Also the food was ok, not great. The brisket was a bit dried out, the beans were meh, and the sweet potato fries were on the soggy side. I also note that my digestion has been a bit upset since eating here a couple of days ago....but I cannot say for sure it was from here or somewhere else, and I definitely have a sensitive digestive tract. I can't say that I would go back here.....
google avatar

Acira M.

Yelp
Love this place!! So many options to choose from. Out of the appetizers I would recommend the tater tots that are topped with parmesan, bacon, green onion, and a sauce. The poke nachos were also loaded and so flavorful. Garlic shrimp wasn't what I expected but was still good, might not order next time. Since the appetizers were heavy I decided to go with the fish salad as my main course and it did not disappoint!

Shirlyn S.

Yelp
We got here at a weird hour slightly after lunch, but it was still busy! We were told it would be 30-45 minutes wait, so we put our number in, and went to explore a nearby area. We got called within 15 minutes to let us know our table was ready! We had to rush over, but fortunately, they kept our table, and the hostess was so kind about it! we got the sampler so we can try a little bit of everything, and a calamari. They were both absolutely delicious. The pork ribs fell right off the bone, and the pulled pork with kimchi was delicious. The brisket was tender as well. Everything was seasoned just right. And this high praise is coming from a texan visitor! Our friend got the corn bread side, and it was delicious. Will highly recommend skipping the fries and doing the cornbread as a side! Servers were also super friendly and nice, 100% recommending this place!
google avatar

Vin S.

Yelp
The place was crazy busy for a mid-afternoon. I thought the Fish and the Hog would be empty, but we had to wait, which was a really good sign. It was worth the wait. I ordered the fish taco salad, which was outstanding. The fish was not overcooked and all the veggies were fresh and yummy. Mel ordered the brisket, which was tender and delicious. The ambience is country BBQ, which fits the bill nicely. The staff is friendly and helpful. 5 Stars.
google avatar

Jodi B.

Yelp
We were greeted and put on a waitlist at 11:47am. I can see why this place sells out daily the food is good. We shared the bbq sampler and poke of the day. It was the best poke on the trip. We sat at the bar and had awesome service from Nick. I highly recommend this place in Waimea. The building is also over 100 years old which adds to the charm.
google avatar

Lucas S.

Yelp
I love these farm style barbecues, and this one was better than many I've been to in the South. The ribs, cornbread, brisket, sweet potato fries are the standouts I tasted. The deserts are delicious. Their table sauces are their weakest point. The service was very friendly and inviting. The inside was cozy and matched the food perfectly

Yelp
Reception was so sweet. Very welcoming and fast. They bbq every day so if it's gone, then it's gone! Bbq was good. Sampler is a good option for first timers like us. The fried ribs were delicious but on the sweet side- meat fell right off the bone. The real winner was the banana cream pie.... We brought this back home in our cooler and absolutely devoured it. We don't typically get cream pies, but the server said it was the best dessert on the menu, and it was good! We will definitely go back next time we are in Waimea.

Yelp
During my stay in Hawaiʻi, I'm really glad I made time to stop by and try their BBQ brisket sandwich with house fries. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted right away and seated at the bar. Travis, the bartender, was nothing short of awesome--super attentive and made sure I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The food came out fast, and everything hit the spot. The brisket sandwich was flavorful and filling, and the house fries were the perfect side. I also ordered a ginger ale, and the fizz was on point--a small detail, but appreciated! The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a classic BBQ spot--casual, cozy, and welcoming. Between the hospitality and the quality of the food, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

Yum! My fiancé and I split the BBQ sampler and banana pie and everything was so delicious! I've traveled to Texas , TN, Carolina's and this brisket was superior! Can't wait to come back. Server Jess was super friendly and manager Jackie very attentive to her patrons and employees. Highly recommend next time your on Big Island \m/

Yelp
Delicious! Fun atmosphere. The sweetest hostess on the island. Our server was on it! Brussel sprouts were the bomb! And tater tots a must. We ordered a plate of brisket for 3 of us to share. Plenty of food. Best brisket I have had in a long time!
