Today was my first visit to the Fish House! Fantastic customer service, delicious appetizers and beautifully created entrées (tasted as good as they looked). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fresh and healthy food. I'm looking forward to trying out the new Dine Out Vancouver menu.

I had brunch with my daughter at the Fish House today and ordered the Halibut. It was not seasoned at all and neither were the veggies and potatoes. Even after putting salt and pepper on it still tasted bland. Her dish was also disappointing. We always enjoyed the place and surroundings, but we don't plan on coming again.

Not a happy experience, for such an upscale looking place. The waiter was totally focussed on up-selling the priciest options to us, without also suggesting other options or giving prices when not shown on the menu. As a result, he seemed phoney, overly "friendly" manner. We felt pressured. Not comfortable. He wouldn't (he said: "couldn't") split our bill because of shared items. Come on! If White Spot, Milestones and many other lesser places can do it, why can't an upscale place like this fractionalize a bottle of wine, or a split plate? Simply put a decimal number (such as 0.5, or 0.25 etc) in the quantity field of the item on the bill and provide subtotals for each person, with individual tax portions shown. Computerized restaurant equipment makes this really simple. Don't put the burden on the clients. Overall, not impressed. This is bad, inconsiderate service. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place. Food was OK, not outstanding. A choice of oil for the bread would have been nice. We were simply given lobster oil (??) which was actually quite "fishy" and not great. I love fish, but did not like this oil.

We attended your establishment last night for the first time. we loved it. the Staff greeted us and as we were early they accommodated us seeing our table was prepared and waiting We were a group of eight and John Snel and support staff were fabulous. We all ordered something different off the menu and we were all agreed Chef Curtis out did himself on all accounts and that we would be back. C&S Johnson

During a short stay at Vancouver, we visited the fish house twice. Every time we had an excellent service. The seafood was cooked to greatest pleasure . Exceellent food, wine and a great place in Stanley Park, all what you need to be happy.

Was there during a recent trip to Vancouver. The clam chowder was awesome but the fish and chips were just mediocre--(fast food Ivar's in neighboring Seattle is better). Coming from the States I found it to be very expensive especially with respect to the quality of the food. Nice place and the service was good though.

I recently visited Vancouver and saw that The Fish House in Stanley Park was highly rated. My husband and I walked the seawall with the intentions of going there for lunch afterwards. After a few hours of walking, we found The Fish House. The hostess told me that there was a half hour wait but I saw many empty tables and it was 2:30pm in the afternoon which is generally AFTER the lunch time rush. I felt that she only told us there was a half hr wait because everyone else in the restaurant was Caucasion and my husband and I are not. Needless to say, I felt discriminated against and have been left with a sour taste in my mouth.

we had a really excellent lunch at the bar. the seafood was as fresh as it gets. the bartender recommended a local wine, which was super and a bargin as well. best is the beautiful park setting. i would recommend this place to everyone.
