Not a happy experience, for such an upscale looking place.
The waiter was totally focussed on up-selling the priciest options to us, without also suggesting other options or giving prices when not shown on the menu.
As a result, he seemed phoney, overly "friendly" manner. We felt pressured. Not comfortable.
He wouldn't (he said: "couldn't") split our bill because of shared items. Come on! If White Spot, Milestones and many other lesser places can do it, why can't an upscale place like this fractionalize a bottle of wine, or a split plate? Simply put a decimal number (such as 0.5, or 0.25 etc) in the quantity field of the item on the bill and provide subtotals for each person, with individual tax portions shown. Computerized restaurant equipment makes this really simple. Don't put the burden on the clients.
Overall, not impressed. This is bad, inconsiderate service. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place.
Food was OK, not outstanding. A choice of oil for the bread would have been nice. We were simply given lobster oil (??) which was actually quite "fishy" and not great. I love fish, but did not like this oil.
