The Fives Oceanfront Riviera Maya - All Inclusive Optional

My wife & I went to The Fives in Puerto Morelos, MX in May of 2025 and had a great time. The property is beautiful and the service was excellent. From entering the building through check-in, the lobby, interior/exterior, the property is fantastic. We had a side / partial ocean view and iot was great, the balcony is large & gave great views. We used the spa and the facilities / staff were awesome. The restaurants, Romarley & the rooftop Asian/sushi spot were great. Bartenders were very attentive. |The beach access & beach were very nice, there was some sargassum but the staff kept the beach pretty clean. The shade from the building is awesome in the summer sun in the afternoon but that allows you full sun or shade based on what you want. |The only negatives was that the Italian restaurant is only open a few days of the week and we missed that, it is apparently very good. A 3rd dining option would be good to be open each day.|The proximity to downtown Puerto Morelos is about a 10 minute walk, either down the beach or on the sidewalk, it was very safe & no issues. Downtown PM offers a wide variety of restaurants / live music options that is very close. |We also upgraded our membership & want to shout out to Ari who was awesome through the process & follow up since we left.|We will be going back for sure !

I came here for my birthday and upgraded to the penthouse (GORGEOUS). Worth it! It was exactly what we were looking for. We are balcony people so this was such a treat! Room was spotless and spacious. ||This was probably my best birthday yet!|I got 5 desserts w/ staff singing throughout the day starting at breakfast and all the staff knew it was my birthday. They even came in my room and made a cute design on the bed. I was solo for the first 4 days of the trip so I feel like I really got to know all of the staff. ||Gabby on the beach - AMAZING and she truly made my experience special. |So was Luis on the beach!|Loved Yoe!!|Some of my other favorites were Eli, Elvis, Abraham, and Fidel. ||Norma gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had and I’ve easily had over $1,000. If you’re in pain, go to her!||This is a small boutique hotel. |My only “complaint” is that there is only 1 restaurant option per day basically but the food was good. ||Highly recommend going the all-inclusive route! |If you are looking to relax, this is the place for you! I will definitely be going back.

I brought my family here for a couple of nights, and we absolutely loved the experience. The resort has a boutique feel with an upscale touch. Unlike many larger resorts, it never felt overcrowded, which made our stay even more relaxing.||Our room was spacious with an unobstructed view, even with a city view, it was still amazing. While there's no buffet, the food at the on-site restaurants was excellent. I especially enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, where we caught a beautiful sunset, definitely a highlight of our trip.||All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Eli at reception, as well as Elvis and Chef Coxin at the RoMarley restaurant—they made our stay extra memorable.|We’d love to come back someday!

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Fives Oceanfront! We enjoyed the intimate, quieter space, the boutique resort offered. The views were stunning and relaxing. The food was delicious and the room spacious as well as comfortable. ||The staff went above and beyond for us. Shoutout to Elvis, Hair, Gabriel and Abraham who were our waiters for our meals. Always offering a smile and wonderful wait service. Yoe, who was our hostess for multiple restaurant visits, was always laughing and cracking jokes. Gustavo literally resetting our mind, body and soul with his amazing yoga class. And Eli, our front desk concierge for being so courteous with accommodating our requests.||Really loved the virtual assistant they facilitate. A simple text, and dinner reservations would be made along with any other requests. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a low key, island time vibe vacation!

This was our first time staying at a FIVES resort, and it ended up being a great experience! We were a group of five and booked two rooms last minute at a really good price.||It was pouring rain when we arrived, but the staff was right there helping us with our bags, which was super appreciated. Sahari was excellent with assisting us with transportation to and from the airport before we arrived. We had arranged airport transfers ahead of time, and the price was surprisingly good. When we got to the hotel, they welcomed us with a drink and had us sit down while they handled check-in from the couch, no standing at the counter, which was a nice touch.||We went with the all-inclusive package that came with a set menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was excellent, way better than I expected. I usually go for places with buffets, but the set menu was a nice change. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, just know the dessert options were a bit limited.||The staff was awesome, especially Yoe, she made us feel welcome every single day. The beach was lovely, and props to the team working hard to manage the seaweed. We also really enjoyed the rooftop pool, it was such a chill spot, and the bartenders, both by the beach and on the rooftop, were great, especially the one at the outside bar—I wish I remembered his name!||We took a short $5 USD taxi ride to Puerto Morelos, which is a small town with plenty of restaurants and bars. We hung out at one of the restaurants where a live band was playing. The town seemed pretty quiet the night we were there.||A couple of small things could be improved: both rooms could’ve used better airflow, no bathroom fans and the AC in mine was pretty loud. One of our rooms had a bit of water damage in the bathroom ceiling and some unfinished patchwork on the wall. Also, the elevator is tiny and kind of stuffy.||That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking to relax at a smaller resort. If you’re looking for a party scene, I’ve heard FIVES Beach has more of that vibe.||Food: 10/10|Room: 7/10|Service: 9/10|Beverage Selection: 9/10

From start to finish, this was such an amazing experience! Yoe, our host, had such great energy and set the tone for the entire trip. The service was absolutely outstanding Abraham, Sergio, and Fernando were incredibly attentive, careful with every detail, and made sure we were well taken care of. Michele, the manager, went above and beyond to be helpful and ensure everything was perfect. The whole team worked together seamlessly, and it really made our first girls trip unforgettable. Highly recommend! Amazing food, safe area and relaxing.

I spent a week at the Fives Oceanfront hotel and it was the best experience ever. The staff are so welcoming and kind it really makes the experience awesome. The hostess with the mostest, Yoe is such a wonderful person. Very kind, and enthusiastic and she really made our experience very welcoming. She recommended some meals and even places to go. She really is the best! For dinner, we were kindly served by Abraham basically the entire trip. He was very patient and attentive. Thank you as well! Sergio, Fernando, Hair and Michele were awesome as well. Always checked on us and made sure we had the best time here. With this being my first time in Mexico, this resort has definitely made me want to come back and has given me the most memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness. See you again!!

We visited the resort in August for our anniversary. We've been 3 times in the past, so obviously this is one of our favorite destinations. Weather was perfect the 7 days we were there. This is a very relaxing, no frills type of place. Pros : the view, the rooftop pools, each room is a suite, and the staff (especially Maria the ambassador) went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Cons : the seaweed! We could not enjoy the beach even one day because of how dirty the waters were. Everyone told us this was seasonal, and the worst they have ever seen. I truly hope that's the case. Outside of that it was another memorable week in Puerto Morelos.
