The Floating Nomad Houseboat Rentals

My daughter and I spent 3 nights on Roam and it was incredible from start to finish! We arrived and Rheanna, the owner, met us and she was absolutely delightful! So helpful and accommodating in every way. Roam is beautifully curated and allows for pure relaxation in nature. Beautiful sunsets, reading, painting, yoga on the top deck, grilling and creating fun meals, hot coffee with beautiful sunrises-hated to leave and can’t wait to return for a longer adventure! Absolutely MAGICAL! Rheanna is amazing and what she has created is equally amazing! Enjoy!

This was THE most magical experience. Roam completely stole our hearts. Have never felt so unplugged yet so safe. We truly cannot wait to come back!!!

Very magical and romantic two nights on Nomad. We loved every second of our time. From the roasting s’mores at night, fishing off the boat, grilling dinner, sunset yoga, to all the adorable touches on the boat. We brought groceries, and Rheanna even offered to pick us up fresh oysters! Rain or shine stay 2-3 nights and you won’t regret it!

Our two nights on Roam felt precious and uniquely wonderful. Being surrounded by such natural beauty infused me with a sense of calm and wonder that I hope will stick with me for a long time. Rheanna is a top-notch host, who always cheerfully and promptly answered our varied questions and requests. She thought of so many details in designing and outfitting Roam. Rheanna also has an artistic sense which she applied to decorating the boat and adding accessories to make it feel and look cozy. We look forward to returning!

We had a wonderful time relaxing on Nomad. During our visit we were fortunate to be there during a full moon. The sunrises and moon rises over the lake were spectacular and the many pictures we took do not do them justice. Rheanna is the perfect host and has thought out every detail to ensure a perfect stay. The many great little details aboard Nomad made the stay one of a kind. The boat is very inviting and meticulously clean. We can’t wait to come back!!

What a beautiful floating camp! You can tell the love that Rheanna has for Nomad. All the details that range from a fire pit on the top deck to an outdoor grill on the bow. Our family of 4, including 2 daughters, enjoyed watching the sun rise and the sun set on Nomad. We were captained out for a tour where we stayed on a quiet part of the lake. We enjoyed a picnic outside, a few cold refreshments and we brought our SUP board. What a breathtaking trip that will be talked about for years.

My husband and I just returned from a 3-day weekend on the Floating Nomad, and all I can say is - we can’t wait to go back! Nomad is spiffy clean and cozy, and Rheanna has really thought of everything to make her guests welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed checking out all the different outdoor seating areas, and the loft bed was a great place for a nap. We saw loons and eagles, thunderstorms and rainbows, and more stars than you can imagine (I even saw a shooting star!). Rheanna was great about communicating with us, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all, this was the best long weekend getaway we’ve had in a long while!

We stayed on Roam in Sept of 2019 and it was such a wonderful experience. The accommodations are wonderful, every detail is thought of. Rhea is so kind and warm and a truly excellent host. In fact we enjoyed it so much that dear friends of ours booked it and stayed a few nights on nomad this June! I’d hoped to rebook for this year but was saddened to find that she’s unable to book due to land owner selfishness (my words, my opinion) and zoning issues. When she relocates I hope we’ll be able to visit. It’s a truly remarkable experience.
